Mega good Saturday brunch with lots of different toppings, eggs, bread, fruit, juice and cakes. So there is also a lot to choose from if you are a vegetarian. You really get a lot for the money, will definitely come again and would recommend it to others :)

Really good place for students and reading groups. Cheap coffee and good food.
You can take a break and read today's newspaper or various magazines in the room to the left of the entrance.

Good library, with excellent service. However, I miss the old strict reading room, where there was no access for PCs and it was monitored so people sat and wrote on mobiles were not on silent.

Super cozy indoor library garden. In addition, excellent study and relaxation facilities for students. In addition to a good library service with access to up to 1 billion materials. Often it is easier to borrow fiction than at public libraries, since most people use the library for non-fiction, therefore much fiction at home. Great view from the book tower.

If you are planning on getting on WIFI then stay away.
You'll need to go through an 8-10 page heavy network guide to set it up on your computer. And the staff does not bother to help you.
Embarrassing that something that is so easy to make must be so difficult!
I've spent hours getting wifi to work. Like many others I know.

Recommends the State Library to set up their network in the same user-friendly way as Dokk1.
And now stop making the 5-10 page guide for each device to get on wifi. Fyr evt. the person who recommended the idea to you.

Sequence control library, reading room and group reading spaces. There is a duty to submit to the state library so it is possible to find just about anything. Possibility of borrowing on the ground floor, even if you are not a student. Have spent weeks here in my study time.

About Statsbiblioteket

Statsbiblioteket: Preserving and Sharing Denmark's Cultural Heritage

Statsbiblioteket, also known as the Royal Danish Library, is Denmark's national library. The institution is dedicated to preserving and sharing the country's cultural heritage while ensuring access to knowledge for education, research, information, and entertainment. With a wide range of services and resources available to the public every day, Statsbiblioteket plays a vital role in promoting literacy and learning throughout Denmark.

History

The history of Statsbiblioteket dates back to 1648 when King Christian IV established the Royal Library in Copenhagen. Over time, the library grew in size and importance as it collected books from all over Europe. In 1989, the library was renamed Statsbiblioteket (the State Library) after merging with other libraries across Denmark.

Today

Today Statsbiblioteket has several locations across Denmark including Aarhus University Campus where it houses its main collection of books and manuscripts. The institution also has a digital preservation department that ensures that important documents are preserved for future generations.

Services

Statsbiblioteket offers a wide range of services to its users including access to books both online and offline through their website or physical locations across Denmark. They also provide research assistance for students or researchers who need help finding information on specific topics.

In addition to these services, they offer workshops on various topics such as digital preservation techniques or how best practices can be used when conducting research projects using their resources.

Collections

The collections at Statsbiblioteket are vast with over six million items ranging from rare manuscripts dating back centuries ago up until modern-day publications. Their collections include everything from literature written by Danish authors like Hans Christian Andersen or Karen Blixen (Isak Dinesen) to scientific journals covering fields such as medicine or engineering.

Digital Preservation

One of the most important aspects of Statsbibliotekets work is digital preservation which involves ensuring that important documents are preserved for future generations even if they become obsolete due to technological advancements. This process involves creating backups of data stored on various media types such as CDs/DVDs/USB drives etc., so that if one copy fails another can be used instead without losing any information contained within them.

Conclusion:

In conclusion, Statsbibilioteke plays an essential role in preserving Danish culture while providing access to knowledge for education purposes throughout Denmark. With its vast collection spanning centuries worth of literature alongside modern-day publications covering various fields like science & technology among others; this institution remains an invaluable resource not just locally but globally too!
