Love the $5 movies that have during the day. Many of the newly released movies are only $5. They have very large theaters with comfortable chairs. They are going through some renovations so parking is a bit challenging if you go when it is busy, however for $5 you really can't complain.

My favorite movie theater! With reserved seating you don t have to get there super early and wait around in line to snag a seat. I buy my tickets a few days ahead of time in person to avoid fees and get the best seating choices. Sign up for their free rewards program to earn points towards free concession goodies and tickets. One free refill on the large popcorn makes it more than enough for a family of four. The screen with Dolby sound is the best one but the others are all nice too.

The Moviepass has changed my theater habits and expectations of theaters. Cinema City is a very average experience. Now that I can see a movie for basically no charge why not go to a theater where I'm going to get luxury reclining seats, nice screens and awesome sound. When I was paying for every movie City was a good deal, inexpensive and I was earning points. This theater can get really busy so plan on long lines for concessions. The theaters are stadium seating with very average seats. Time for an upgrade Cinema City.

Great theaters. Very clean and well maintained. I love that in the theatre we were in that the seats start further back! They don't have horrible stiff neck inducing seats like others do. Very cushiony as well.

I almost never write a review, but I am today. Came to see The Intruder. The price was going rate of today's movie theatres so I can't complain about that. The seats were very comfortable, recent face lift is pleasant with exception of the weird bathroom faucets/dryers where if you are not careful, the dryer will blow the soap or water on you, quite bizarre. They started playing the wrong movie so I had to go out and inform them of this. The popcorn was stale. A staff person came into the theatre 3x to count guests, strange?? My sister witnessed them asking a single woman to search her purse with her hands full of soda and popcorn with multiple small children. When they did the search they found candy. They told her she can't take the candy to the theatre and all the kids started crying!!! Ridiculous and really sad. Minding that she had purchased ALL these children movie theatre slurpee at a triple of the cost at a liquor store, etc. I know they would say that outside drink and candy is not allowed, true, but could they just have given this poor lady and her crying kids a break and allowed it, informing her not to do it again? This is not best practice for customer service! Is Cinema City this hard up for profit? At the price of their candy and other items, I need to ask myself who is robbing who???

Been a customer for years before it was Starlight and many since. It's definitely my favorite place to see movies locally. I do wish their small size concessions were cheaper (though I understand the point is to get you to buy the larger sizes for "only $1 more"), and in a couple of the smaller theaters in the back (theater 7 comes to mind) you may end up hearing the movie next door through the walls. Overall minor gripes, since I don't ever worry about parking as someone who only goes to matinee showings or at other weird times.

Always good selection of movies, clean neat. Concession stand is fairly fast too. New sinks in the restrooms will need a little getting use to, everything thing controlled at the sink, water, dryer... kinda neat

Seats were very comfortable and the price s right. The sound was loud enough and the screen was big and focused. Loved the movie.

Starlight Cinema City is one of our favorite places to relax and enjoy a good movie with some refreshments. The theater is clean and bright. The staff are always incredibly helpful and kind!

The seating is really good ...even sitting up front. The concession stand goes really quick because they always have plenty of help. They are very efficient there. We will definitely go here frequently.

This is a nice theater for a discount theater but I only like to watch movies in 3D and this place has no option for that. They used to have 3D movies a couple years back but definitely not anymore

Watched The Last Jedi this morning at the 9:00am showing. The price was right but it was super cold the whole show. I am a big guy and I had full jeans, boots, and my thick jacket on and I was cold and uncomfortable the whole show. I know I could have gone and told them something, but I really did not want to miss any of the movie. My thoughts if you like the early bird $6.00 rate still go but bring a blanket.

Super cute and historic looking cinema center. Seats aren't reclining, nor is there much leg space in the theater I went into but not terrible. I was here for Aquaman Prime Member Exclusive screening. Would definitely visit again :)

Nice and cozy theater. This facility is well maintained and it's kept up to date with technology. No power reclining seats, however the seats are still nice and comfortable. Definitely a good place to see a movie.

Been going to this theater since I was a kid it has always been a nice inexpensive place to catch a flick. The service is always polite and helpful. Bathrooms and theaters are clean and well kept. I'm sure I will be seeing pictures here for years to come!

Great place and staff. We go to all our movies here. But the parking has been under construction for soooooooo long. It would be nice if they let their customers in on what is the plan. What are they doing? Now they are constructing a building. What is it? How long will it take. People would like to know. I think they should put up a big poster out front that explains.

Great theater! I went and It was not to expensive, and the seats were comfy and clean. I've gone to theaters with the same service and cheaper snack prices, but other than that I have to admit, I had a GREAT time with my family! I will recommend, there is great fun, and there is always a good movie playing!

Number 1 place to watch a movie. forget all the chain moves theaters you're just a number to them here they treat you like family.

Good theater with comfy seats that are rocking recliners even in the smaller theaters. The concessions are typically priced aka expensive. I think on Mondays movies are $5 all day.

Great deals available- $6 movies on Mon/Tues until 6pm I believe. Join their rewards card for a discount on concessions. The seats don't recline but they are comfortable and lean back a little. The theaters are gorgeous inside! Our had so many pieces of architectural detail and even had fiber-optic stars and fireworks included! Great theater.

This is a great movie theatre. All movies are stadium seating so you don't have to worry about getting the regular seating. They have great prices especially at off times. My favorite movie house.

Loved this place , took my daughter to see a Movie here. We had such a blast .The Egyptian themed movie theater was a fun experience. When you visit , be sure to relax and look up at the ceiling while In the screening venue; They have an actual star system set up , complete with twinkling stars and even shooting stars plus the Awesome viewing screen and the sound was impeccable. Restrooms very clean as well. I can't wait to visit there again. Thanks for the great movie experience . We will definitely be back.

Convenient ticket dispenser outside allows you to avoid the line at the box office if you don't already have a ticket. Reserved seating, with rows indicated on the carpeting on the stairs in the theater. Good sound system, although we could hear the movie in the next theater from our theater.

Local movie theater with great ticket prices and best of all, reserved seating. There will be a time when people will say "you had to wait outside to get a good seat at a movie?" The menu selection is increasing which is nice and if you want a beer or wine you got that too. Don't forget to check in with yelp to get a free popcorn

Cinema City Stadium Theatres. This past week while heading through the O.C back to the I.E . I decided a movie sounded better than sitting traffic for multiple hours. Cinema City Stadium Theatres in in Anaheim hills on the corner of la palma at its intersection with Imperial hwy . That is pretty much where the worst part of the 91 fwy traffic begins. It was my best decision. The Cinema City Stadium Theatres is very clean and the staff friendly and the prices are awesome .

Not happy with the fact that Starlight City Cinema charges full price to senior citizens for movies that have just been released until they have been out for 2 weeks. Then you get the senior rate...all this you do not find out until you are at the show....

Great theater to visit. Seating choices are simple and easy. Comfortable chairs and snack bar menu is normal. Sign up for the rewards card and the points add up quickly for free popcorn or snacks. A plus.

My daughter and I went here last night for the first time to see After...such a good movie! There better be a sequel!

I like this movie theater very much! This was my first time at this theatre. The people are nice the bathrooms are clean! The sinks are different and cool! I've never experienced anything like it in my life! I was looking for something to do in the area. My daughter had a performance at Disney and I was looking to kill time because she wanted to stay at Disney until past 10. I looked up movie theaters and this one popped up! When I went in to watch the movie Widows a lady asked me if I wanted to take a survey for a free movie ticket! That was thebest part! I got to see a second movie for free which helped me kill time! I absolutely loved the experience and would definitely come back and bring my daughter when we're out here again!

Some months ago! I fell some bad smell! Now is much better!! They remove old chairs and install new ones! Smell much better! Thank you cinema city!! I visit you twice a week or more! In the last 2 yrs!

Once you walk inside the lobby you immediately notice soaring ceilings adorned with gorgeous chandeliers. Inside the theater, one can look around forever taking in all the wonderful minute details in architecture that make this theater a special venue.

I would've rated this 5 stars in the past but they've changed lately. They used to allow select outside food which made it easier on those with food allergies to enjoy snacking while watching. Now, all outside food is prohibited but inside food is still typical unhealthy movie theater junk. Ticket prices have also gone up so now this theater doesn't really have anything going for it to make it stand out among the others. We still attend because it's close but now there's a new theater being built just minutes away. I hope Cinema City gets competitive again and makes a real effort to keep its clientele.

Make sure to check your tickets if you buy it in advance . I went there today at 11.30am to buy tickets for the show at 2.50pm. The young man printed the tickets for 11.10am I didn't check it so of course when I got there at 2.250 the tickets were sold out for this show. You have to check everything anymore . So sad that some young people cannot do good such a simple job like selling tickets.

I had a wonderful movie experience today at the Starlight Theater in Anaheim. Good times!!!

Very homey. It has a good showing of movies. However, it can get very crowded, so be prepared.

My first time here and I did not have a good experience. I went on a Friday night and it just so happen to be the day after Thanksgiving. There was only one teller open to purchase tickets and the line was pretty long. Inside, there were only 4 cashiers open at the concession stand.

Nice neighborhood theater. They have senior pricing and a couple cheap days during the week. Best part is the way they deck the place out for the holidays. Christmas decorations are up!

Gosh! I was honestly impressed by this movie house. At first, when I buy a ticket, the staff was very friendly, nice, and professional. When I was already inside, the seats were arranged comfortably, and the screen was too large and loud. The foods that they served were hot, and the drinks were good. This theatre lobby and areas leading to each theatre are soooo pretty. Have to thank the owner for sparing no expense to make the decor extra special looking for the enjoyment of the theatre goers. I didn't want to leave. They have an area that serves alcohol but I didn't see that. Employees are very nice. Comfortable and cushy seats. Very nice.

Watched Thor Ragnarok here a couple of weeks ago on a value day ($5-ish Tuesday) in their big theater, with the Dolby ATMOS sound. Sound was great, seats were comfy. I prefer the popcorn at Regal Theaters, but not enough to take away a star from this place. And it's super close to my house. What's not to love!

Always a friendly atmosphere. The staff is helpful and the service is great. I always bring my family here to have good family fun.

Nice and clean place to see a movie. Two improvements are recommended: 1. Ticket kiosk should have signs that point to inside counter at night when kiosk is closed. 2. Movie title should be completely spelled out.

First time ever coming here and NEVER will i come again. The man Ethan Bennett checking tickets and bags, checked my bag then said my bag was all good, then was told over his radio to check my bag AGAIN by his assistant manager Manuel Ortega and he checked and said everything was okay, then the assistant manager came over and Ethan asked to check my bag again for a third time and said i was not allowed to bring my bag in for no reason at all. After all that, I wanted a refund since and was told i was not allowed a refund. Never have I experienced such bad customer service, except for now.

Matinee is only $5 that is a great price to go see the newest movies. Staff was friendly and the place was clean.

This place is totally ridiculous and rude. As a Nanny for 3 children ages 13,11 and 7. I brought them from out of state to visit their grandparents. We came to see a Wrinkle in Time. Got our tickets. Came in to get our snacks. Kids got each a pack of candy. Combo popcorn with drinks. I Gave the card I use for the kids purchases to pay and was asked for the ID under the holders name which Was under their fathers name. I gave them another card with his picture and other information on it. Showed insurance cards for kids. Had him send a copy of drivers license. NO!NO!No! Not so much fun. They made kids give back candy that the 7 year old had already opened and was eating. Crazy when they could have been making almost $50. We will never come here again. And I will be reporting the manager.

It is fine for watching films but needs to be jazzed up a bit.

Watched Mama Mia Here we go again-- loved, loved, loved every second of it. Plan to see it several more times. Good to see quality musicals available at the movies. Would love to see more of them.

The location is convenient and tickets are fairly cheap for this day and age. However this might be nit picking, but even though you choose your seats for this theater the seats itself don't recline at all. It's not the end of the world and the chairs are still comfy but I do find that a little strange.

Decent place for movies. Not the best with the latest technology or reclining chairs, but the prices are much cheaper compared to others and it works great if you have a movie pass subscription (they have e-ticket).

Amazing price for first showing movies! The theater has friendly staff that keeps the theater fresh and clean. The seating is great with high back, roomy ,cushy seats that lean back, almost like being at home.(the center armrest lifts too, so you can sit a little closer if you wish) Parking may be a challenge so allow enough time....Plus side,you will find a small 4 tier parking garage at the far end of the building.

Cinema City may look a bit dated on the outside, but is easy on your pocket book to enjoy a movie. They have really great deals on their movie tickets compared other major movie theater chains out there. The prices for their concessions are also very reasonable.

Pretty nice movie theater. On Tuesdays price is 5.00 dollars. Cant beat that. So basically Tuesday night is movie night! But pretty nice quality, average seat comfort, clean environment, friendly staff. Recommended.

We have been coming here for 20 plus years, parking lot remodel was really needed. But it looks great now and still great prices on movies. We like their summer movies for $1! And snack pack for $4 (it is discounted for dollar movie times)

Great movie theater. Like the ones with theater seating.

This is a place for a frequent moviegoers like me. Affordable especially for a big family on a budget. The place is clean & friendly staff. It gets really crowded & parking can be a bit crazy if you get there late. I drive @ least 14 miles to see a movie but it's worth it. Pretty close to lots of eateries & shopping.

I gotta say, I used to hate going there because of the parking and ugly area, but they remodeled the shopping area outside or something, anyway now it s a great place to be at! We love having fish and chips at California Fish Grill in the afternoon and then walk to the movie theater to watch a movie. It brings back good memories from the 80 s lots of people outside having good clean fun (my 80 s anyway :) )and congregating at the movie theater.
The matinee prices are great! And if you become a member you earn points towards popcorn, soda candy hotdogs and stuff! Their employees are very polite, nice, professional, kind, and hard working young people; they keep the theater super nice... (dirty people messes up the restroom though, and sometimes it s not up to good standards, but people should be cleaner, neater and considerate with others)
Anyhow, with this wonderful fall weather I can t wait to go back and watch a great movie every week! The matinee price was $8.00 not bad at all!

This is one of the best theaters to stop in, see a movie, and wait out traffic. Their matinee prices can't be beat, and it's pretty nice to be able to grab an adult beverage at the snack bar before heading in to watch your flick. There are several auditoriums within the theater, some much smaller than others. I'd say having some better quality seats would be nice, but I wouldn't want to pay more than we already do.

This theater used be very cheep 5 dollars and 4$ somedays but know the prices are changed the updated the seats know are better leather and more comfortable and I noticed the Popcorn and sodas the prices are higher parking lots sometimes are challenging there's many business from McDonald's and others they take all the parking spaces, they have rewards but I have never got anything from this B.S. rewards the theater inside are most of them very small except a few are big, the restroom need to be cleaned.

My all time favorate Movie Going Experience. Top notch and they even have a theater which features old classics. The whole Enchilada.

This used to be a dive theatre, but now it is very nice. Assigned seats, so you don't have to wait in line to get good seats. Food and drinks here are super expensive though and the cola Icy machine is always broken.

Price is Right. Guy taking tickets was a bit rude and seemed as I was bothering him when I asked a few questions. Seating was comfy but floors were pretty dirty, wrappers and what not still on the floor from previous movie? Bathroom was out of toilet paper and while washing hands 3 people had the same issue:: since now hand dryer is on faucet looks like while getting soap the dryer would go off and splatter it everywhere.... Mirror, counter, & all over us!! It shot back and was so over my shirt, face and hair!!! Not cool... They should keep those things in working condition...I could see a kid getting it in their eyes and freaking out.
Seems like the theater has taken a dip....

It was so nice to return to our favorite theater tonight! Only four of us in theater 1 (the largest one). Staff in masks and gloves with hand sanitizer available at the front desk. Please feel safe and comfortable returning to this theater.
