First class theatre at great prices. Any show before 6 pm is at a discounted price. Friendly staff but expensive concessions. Regardless a fun movie going experince.

Great except bag policy. I get it, but I travel with my son and his friends. Need the bag when traveling with three or more 5 and 6 year olds and riding the bus

Starlight s Cinema is one of my favorite theaters. It s convenient, people are friendly, prices are great! If you go early in the morning you pay $6.00 for the early bird special. $5.00 for seniors 55 and older. Mondays and Tuesdays $6.00 as well. $12.00 after 12pm. Not bad considering prices of other theaters. I love to frequent the movies and this place is recommended to everyone. You can find parking in the back as well as the front of the theater. Come early and pick your seat, or order ahead online and choose your seats before arriving at the theater. Be sure to become a Starlight Rewards member and earn great rewards for free foods and drinks. Either way enjoy and have fun.

Reservation system is an awesome feature. Clean and comfortable. The Dolby Atmos is great. However, it does smell a musty.

This is our go-to spot. Great theater at reasonable prices. Reserved seating, so buy ahead of time and don't worry about showing up early.

Love this theater. Value days are incredibly affordable. Seats are reserved and comfortable, and newly available alcohol at concessions is just another positive step. This location used to offer their free refills on large items even on return trips to the theater, which I found incredible, and a bit strange; but now they have signs up clarifying same day only, so keep that in mind.
Cinema City provides a fantastic value and like with any theater chain (starlight theaters in this casel there is a rewards program you can leverage to add even more value.

I've always loved this theater and it has the best prices of any theater in the area. It has the most popular recent movies, and also shows classic moves on a schedule every month. I can't recommend it enough.

Great place to hang out. Only problem is not enough parking and from my visit all seats are usually taken and showtimes are often not for hours to see the movie.

This is the only movie theater I'll go to. Prices are great, no more waiting in line since you can choose your seats ahead of time, and good selection of movies. So glad to have this theater close by.

Customer Service is amazing! I accidentally bought tickets for the Costa Mesa location and they didn't hesitate to get me seats here right away, this went a long way because I did not have to deal with it and probably lose my money. Thank you to whoever is in charge too! keep it up, we will most definitely be back :) great place for the price as well, you just can't go wrong here!

Cheap tickets, located right by multiple restaurants for convenience

I really was upset at the people in the theater. My son and i go to this theater once a week and we will never go again to this theater. We were in line to buy our tickets and they move us out of the line to let others people go first before us. That wasn't right ridiculously!! I couldn't believe my words.

Me and my friends had the worst experience there. We weren't allowed to go in bc not all of us weren't 17. One of my friends was turning 17 in 2 days. Then the one of the workers was rude and gave us attitude. It said that we needed ID and they weren't specific enough when we went to the front to buy our tickets they told us we needed a drivers license they were not specific enough and the paper in the front. We are never going back to this movie theater again

We love coming here. Sundays before 6pm admission is $5 and Monday +Tuesday all day $5.
Popcorn is always fresh and the best part is you can bring your bucket and soda cup on your next visit (IF you didn't get a refill - you can only get a refill one time)

Its a great theater and ticket prices are still reasonable. However it lost 1 star because they won't let you bring Any drinks in and there's a Starbucks next door.they only serve hot coffee at the theater no iced coffee...y'all need to change the rule or add an iced coffee machine

Best Movie Theater in all of Southern California. Great price. Great food. Awesome staff. Only think that sucks is parking. But this theater is a clean, family fun theater sooo I wonder why parking is full. Secret is out about this amazing Cinema City Stadium Theater. Three thumbs up!

Good Theatre, good sound, each theater has a theme, an ample amount of parking. Used to be able to bring in food and drink from any within the lot. New management has revoked that now.

According to my friend who lives in the area the theatre had been refurbished. It was very nice, comfortable seats, clean. I enjoyed myself.

Amazing price for first showing movies! The theater has friendly staff that keeps the theater fresh and clean. The seating is great with high back, roomy ,cushy seats that lean back, almost like being at home. Located in a great shopping mall. Lots of restaurants around to treat yourself after a movie

Fun cinema. Little draconian with their bag checks, but it's to ensure you are safe from horrors of other moviegoers smuggling in entire fajita platters.

The arrangement of the seats was comfortable to seat with, and the screen was big and loud. Eventually, I greatly loved the ambiance in their movie house. Also, the staff was very accommodating and professional. We would be back, again and again, to hang out with your movie house.

Good theater, they even serve Beer! of course prices are way high, as usual in a theater. Seats are comfortable

This theater has excellent service and is typically very tidy. Even have self serve ticket stations. Also my sister says they have scrumptious popcorn.

$6 on Mondays and Tuesdays! You can't beat that. Stadium style seating, big screen and decent sound. The seats are a bit old but still a great deal.

My first theater experience in a long time. Parking was simple (they even have a parking structure in the back), tickets are so cheap now, and they have a beer counter at the concessions! Really impressive.

Been a customer for years before it was Starlight and many since. It's definitely my favorite place to see movies locally. I do wish their small size concessions were cheaper (though I understand the point is to get you to buy the larger sizes for "only $1 more"), and in a couple of the smaller theaters in the back (theater 7 comes to mind) you may end up hearing the movie next door through the walls. Overall minor gripes, since I don't ever worry about parking as someone who only goes to matinee showings or at other weird times.

This theater has easy access (location and parking). It shows current movies at a lower than average pricing. It has ambience, is clean, and the staff is friendly. Seats are comfortable.

We love this place! An excellent family- friendly entertainment place that is still affordable, clean and friendly. Great when they switched to reserved seating. No need to wait in line. The concession package with refills is awesome! I hope they keep their business model of quality and affordability.

One of the top theaters around, and for good reason! The ticket prices are cheap, the theaters are clean, and the staff is friendly. The prices at the concession stand is also reasonably priced. If you're getting popcorn, be sure to take advantage of the flavored powders to put on your popcorn. You'll want to keep coming back, if only for the popcorn.

20+ years later, and still the best value for movies (popcorn/soft drinks, etc on par with California's gas prices). Assigned seating is the way to go!

This is a great theatre. Good prices, clean theatres, and great concession workers.

The theatre is currently undergoing plenty of changes, but the staff has been very attentive to making sure that you don't notice the behind the scenes too much. The recent inclusion of alcohol sales makes this a great location for an evening out, especially with the local food shops within the same center

The seating is great with high back, roomy ,cushy seats that lean back, almost like being at home.(the center armrest lifts too, so you can sit a little closer if you wish) Parking may be a challenge so allow enough time....Plus side,you will find a small 4 tier parking garage at the far end of the building.

This place is great! I have been there a couple times and both times I enjoyed my experience. Staff is friendly and always smiling, bathrooms are clean (new faucets are awesome; water soap dispenser and hot air dryer all in one) seats are very comfy and well maintained and prices are great ($6.00) if you go before 6 PM on certain days. I will definitely be coming back.

I saw Captain Marvel in theater 2. The seating layout is awesome.

All theaters are digital. There are great eateries nearby. It's Freeway close and parking is a lot better. I like the big main themed theaters. They offer Classic Movies on certain evenings. Overall a great experience and great feel. This isn't the nearest movie theater to me however the best.

We have been going here for years. We have never had a bad experience. The staff is friendly and professional.

One of my favorite theaters , and look forward to new movies in order to support this small theater. The manager was outside sweeping and thanked us for coming in, and it felt great to be welcomed back

We had great experiences here! Every time there is a new movie coming out, this place is our best choice. They had both entrance and snack bar attendants that were very professional and warm. Their snack bar also serves the best in town, especially their popcorn. They also had the most convenient and comfortable seats!

Candace at the concession stand made my day! She went above and beyond customer service to make our movie experience so enjoyable. My kids said she was so nice. We love this theater! Thanks Candace!

New movies at this price is worth the drive. I typically go after work Mondays or Tuesdays to avail of special pricing of about $5. Money leftover? How about some popcorn or another snack in case you forgot to bring your stash from home. ; )

Make sure to check your tickets if you buy it in advance . I went there today at 11.30am to buy tickets for the show at 2.50pm. The young man printed the tickets for 11.10am I didn't check it so of course when I got there at 2.250 the tickets were sold out for this show. You have to check everything anymore . So sad that some young people cannot do good such a simple job like selling tickets.

Like having assigned stadium seats that've been reupholstered with pleather. Dolby sound is great, if a little too loud.

Movie was good #tennant but theater was HOT AN STUFFY told manager but had to stick it out with no air glad to be out of there

Seats were very comfortable and the price s right. The sound was loud enough and the screen was big and focused. Loved the movie.

This Cinema City has been here for many years now. The quality of the place has slowly and steadily increased since it opened. The movie experience is what you would expect from any decent theater. Nothing is really spectacular about this location. Cinema City is one of my favorite theaters strictly because of the generous ticket price discounts they have set based on specific times and days.

As of right now, this location is not busy. I've been here twice this week: the 1st time was Monday and then today. I really like how they have every other row taped off to practice social distancing and there is a two seat separation on both sides of you for social distancing. This is a really nice theater but I usually go to the other location in Palos Verde but they aren't opened just yet. Would recommend this theater. Monday's and Tuesday's at this location are $5 entrance all day, which is a steal. I was really worried that the proces were going to skyrocket but nope, they stayed the same. Love it!!

They recently renovated it I think! The chairs are blue, comfy, clean and new, and the price was not bad during matinee. The wait to buy snacks was quite long, but the experience and quality overall was great. They played trailers for 10-ish minutes, so the showing times aren t entirely correct.

This is my second time coming here. Theater is well maintained and clean. I only wish they had a second food line. It was quite crowded.

I always like coming here. The prices are the best in the area, $5 per person. It's always clean and tidy and the staff is friendly. All the theaters are stadium seating so you don't have to worry about seeing over the person ahead of you. Even the smaller theaters still have good audio and I never feel like I'm not getting the full theater experience. The snacks are also good and I love their popcorn seasoning. Definitely recommend coming here over Edwards a few minutes down the street.

I had a wonderful movie experience today at the Starlight Theater in Anaheim. Good times!!!

I love how you can book and pick your seats ahead of time. The theater is nice and clean. They have staffs who checks inside the theater once in a while.. I guess to avoid people who jumps from theater to theater. Food of course is pricey but they also sell alcohol for adults.

People working there are friendly, clean bathrooms and the movie experience was really nice. Great sound...

Love the prices here!! It's not the cleanest but it's not really dirty either. If I had one near me I'd come all the time for the good deals. The popcorn doesn't taste very good but they have powdered flavors you can add to it. We saw Toy Story 4 here. It's fun that they have big cutouts you can take pics with.

Liking it because of its ornateness, warm ambience and a really old-school theater feel to it (i.e., the stage in front of the single screen, the curtains, the organ in the center that rises from below, the huge upper level balcony seating). Hence, why it's popular with film buffs and the film fest crowds (and can't say it would be to the cineplex crowds). Chairs are comfy but the armrests do not have cup holders.

My wife, young adult daughters, and I went to the Starlight Cinema City Theatres on Saturday night to watch The Magic of Adam Trent. It is not the first time we have seen a performance here and it will not be the last time.

Love the seat selection feature, the staff is always friendly and parking is much better now that they redid the front and sides. The charm of a neighborhood Cinema but with all the modem features of a chain, including a loyalty program. Plus, there's a small arcade and clean restrooms

Seems to be getting a bit better at customer service. Guest Recovery remains to be seen. Luckily I have not had any recent need for Guest Recovery. Thank you Cinema City.
