Fast service. My computer was fixed in less than a week (screen replacement). They also did it far cheaper than I expected. It's as if I never damaged my computer in the first place. Oh, and the staff is very friendly as well.

Every business owner has a fear of computer failures and when we had one of ours fail, I took the machine to Starkville Computers for a diagnostic. The computer was a stand alone that ran an application that was critical for the mission of our business and when I was told the machine had a bad motherboard Starkville Computers went to work immediately. After further diagnostics, the hard drive was also failing and on top of that the warranty had expired two weeks earlier. They were able to retrieve the the files from the failing drive and were able to get a new Lenovo up and running with minimal downtime. I was contacted after normal business hours and was able to get the machine in time to finish a time sensitive project before the deadline. Thanks Starkville Computers!
I downloaded a bad BIOS file. One of the workers, DW (i think he said thats what his name was. He is the one with a sweet beard), helped to try to fix the problem, pro bono. Although he was never able to solve my problem (it was something only Dell could fix), he seemed to be very knowledgeable, polite, and an all-around good guy. So I give 5 stars based on the fact that the customer service was so good, not because my problem was fixed.
My husband brought his laptop here to be serviced for a malware problem. He did so at my recommendation due to the positive things I've heard about the place in the past. Our experience, however, was a fairly unpleasant one. He was told at the time of drop off that repairs would take anywhere from 6 to 9 business days. When he called to inquire about the status of computer after 12 business days had passed, he was informed that they had only just started working on it. It wasn't until the 21st (TWENTY FIRST) business day that he was contacted by Starkville Computers and notified that his PC was fixed and ready for pickup. In terms of the actual service they delivered in that his laptop is now fixed and working properly. However, in terms of the wait time it took on the delivery of said services, I am highly disappointed. He had to go nearly a month without his PC, which is a hardship for most people and especially a graduate student. That kind of turnaround time is simply ridiculous.

Patrick, you do not have a "Lee" in your system because this review was written under my maiden name; thus it does not make it any less accurate nor does it make my husband any less of an "actual" customer. I've noticed a trend among all these Google reviews in which you individually laud any positive feedback and lambaste any that is negative. Your response to my own review has been no different. Instead of perhaps apologizing and asking "What can I do to make this better?" you have the audacity to try to make me feel as if it's MY fault I have a bad review as a customer. You haven't taken accountability for your poor service at all.
A few words of advice: Constantly surveying the web for negative reviews just so you can counter them isn't going to raise the overall reputation of your business. Providing better service to your customers is.
Great service. The techs were quick and friendly and fixed my Macbook Pro hardware issue in just a few minutes without charging me anything. It saved me a 5 hour roundtrip drive to the Apple store in Birmingham. Thank you Starkville Computers!
Went in to get another angle on my broken computer after taking it to another computer repair place and avoided the $50 deposit of the other place as the helpful clerk told me something fast and easy and did not charge me a dime for it.
Personal service from friendly people who call to make sure everything is working ok even after the issue is resolved. This is an example of a business which makes other small town businesses work at a big city pace.
We love Patrick and the whole crew! Everybody is super easy to work and always do a great job! We highly recommend and use them for all are Technology needs!
I called before their opening time, but didn't leave a message. But someone called me and said he noticed a call from this number and just wondered if he could help me. Turns out he could and did. Although he didn't have the product I was looking for, he was courteous and helped me with the problem I was having. The next time I need a computer store I will definitely go to Starkville Computers.
Truly amazing service. I am a new student and believed I had a problem that would take hundreds of dollars to fix. Mr. Richard fixed it in less than 5 minutes. I met the owner and many of the staff that were kind and care about customer satisfaction rather than making a quick buck. If you need something repaired, don't wast your time with anyone else.
Great service. Parts took some time to come in. However, this was not the fault of Starkville Computers. They made sure to keep me up to date through the entire process. The repair took no time at all once the parts finally arrived. Happy customer here!
Hands down the best customer service in the world! Even though it took almost three hours, it was well worth the wait to have my stuff moved to a new laptop and have everything basically set up for me. 10/10 recommend seeing them about any computer maintenance. They are so sweet and helpful, I will definitely be coming to them if anything is wrong with my new computer.
I purchased a box store computer, and successfully crashed it in ONE DAY. I called Starkville Computers with the issue, they sent a replacement and packed up the crashed unit for me to return. Guess what?? They were the same price, and had a MUCH better unit. Talk about customer service!!
Our computer server crashed at Scotty's Wine and Spirits and Starkville Computers was at our store 10 minutes after we called them. They did an outstanding job. Great service and fair price.
