Was called down for an interview and tried to reply them via email and my emails kept getting rejected by their server. Decided to give them a call 2 days before my interview and the hr lady immediately interrupted me rudely that the position has already been filled. Extremely unprofessional and irresponsible. Could have at least updated me. Imagine if i actually went all the way down there.
I'm a mother of two, recently I bought their books for my children to learn at home, not for school, not from school. I had contacted with miss Yu Ting several times about how to buy their books because I live in Indonesia.
My family used to live in PHILADELPHIA, USA. In there whenever we bought books - when it need CD - the books always have CD inside the book. Mostly we bought from School Zone publishing, they are THE BEST!!!
So that's why I need in English learning books for my children, so they can still follow other children in other countries with the knowledge.
Later I received the books - I bought :
Star Science grade, discovering ict, and Targeting Mathematics,
After we have received the books, we notice that the book need CD ROM - so the pupils/student/children can learn more effectively, completely.
But even Miss Yu Ting Soh(marketing executive) doesn't want to reply my email anymore when I asked her about how to buy the CD or how much. When I want to register to the starpub website, it says it's only for teachers.
I don't know marketing, but I know : that The Buyer is King/Queen. How come you get profit if you don't share your Information so more people know and be attracted by the books?
So that's why I have to write this review. The STARPUBLISHING BOOKS is for LIMITED purpose only, schools.
Better buys books from AMAZON, USA! GO USA! or just buy from Which ever countries you like other than from Star publishing, Singapore.
So Sorry, but I haven't get any good vibe from them. I'm so disappointed. So sad...
And temporary my children can only read the textbooks we already bought, no CD or application or website for help!!!!
