I just recently Lost my bearded dragon Raphael, and they helped me so much from the first time we came in to the last time. They are beyond amazing, Dr. Baley, she was so wonderful with explaining everything and going out of her way to console me when i was crying on the phone. I was very happy with the initial appointment to treat my Guinea pig's UTI. When checking out, I was asked to schedule a follow up appointment. I brought my animal in for the follow up, and the vet weighed her and asked if there was any more blood in her urine. I was in the exam room for literally less than 5 minutes. $72. All he did for $72 was ask me if she's ok! By all means, take your pet here for treatment, but be sure to ask about the cost of any follow up exams, and what the exam entails. In response to the owner response, you were not upfront with what the charges would be, I had to ask.
They really take the time to explain everything to you about caring properly for your animals. They genuinely care and aren't pressuring you to buy their products. Wonderful staff!
These people save my carleys life I absolutely adore them
I have had two cockatiels since July 1999 -- they turn 20 this year :) I've never taken them to the vet before because they always seemed to be in good health, plus the idea of taking them would seriously stress me out as they do not like strangers handling them. However, one of my birds developed a type of skin wound a few weeks ago and would not stop messing with it, so I took both of them in. Long story short, this place was FANTASTIC. They refer to your pets as "kids" which is nice, because they are :-) Dr. Plass was excellent. She and her vet tech were kind and patient, and I was surprised by how well my birds did, which is clearly indicative of the staff who handled them. They were very transparent regarding the cost of services. They advised me that blood work for both would be in their best interest given their age and the fact that this was their first visit. Birds are known to hide their illnesses until it's too late, so I decided to take the financial hit. But I didn't feel pressured to make this choice, and they gave me alternative options. I left feeling like I found a vet for the remainder of my birds lives (here's to another 20 years!), and very assured that I did what was in their best interest. They gave me medicine for the one with the skin issue, and he is already on the up-and-up. (Also receiving blood work results today.... fingers crossed). I would recommend this place to ANYONE. Best decision I've ever made for my kids :)
They are always very good to my animals. They explain things fully and answer any questions you have. Additionally, they are always very transparent about prices. I love that they have a beverage corner called Stahlbucks for you to enjoy for free while toy are waiting.

Personally I was dealing with a very personal issue with my chameleon . I've been to many vets in the few days leading up to visisting doctor Stahl. Unfortunately I was unable to get the information from those other vets and my chameleon passed. Thank goodness for Dr Stahl and his staff I took my chameleon (Loki) into Dr Stahl for a necropsy and within a few questions and a few hours later he was able to give me all the information i needed for closure. Which noone else could give me . Thankyou for all the help. Dr Stahl and company will be the only vet I use for my reptiles even with the hour long drive .I could go on forever 100% worth it #TheBest#Theonly .

Months ago, not even a hamster presented an inflammation in one of his legs, we spent 2 months visiting a specialist somewhere else who gave us erroneous diagnoses and spent money in vain, the worst thing was that my hamster was given medicine that in the end did not it was useless ...
We went to SEAVS to consult for a second opinion and they were right in everything, it hurts my hamster will have that inflammation for life, since by the time we lost in the other vet the leg heals him badly (he had a fracture) but at least, thanks to SEAVS my hamster will have a better life nn

The best veterinarian doctors for all your animals. They specialize in exotics but they can get any animal and they are just the best. I took my hamsters to other exotics but Sthal are the best.
I have only the highest "marks" and feedback on this practice and Dr. Costanzo! The vet techs are very knowledgeable and supportive. We have taken two hamsters, two bunnies, and a bearded dragon at different times. Fortunately, most of our visits have been routine for minor concerns or well check-ups. One of our bunnies was spayed at SEAVS, and the surgical care was top-notch. The facility is lovely and very clean.
If you have an exotic pet, you should be aware that veterinary care can be very expensive. Medical care for a "free" bunny or a $5.00 hamster can be many, many times the cost of the pet and needs to be considered if you want to be a responsible pet owner. These are highly specialized vets with years of additional training to be able to treat so many species of pets, and that is reflected in the cost of care. But I don't think you will find better care in the mid-Atlantic are for your pets. I recommend SEAVS to anyone I encounter with a pocket pet, reptile, or bird.
Was able to get my pet see on an emergency basis; staff and the doctors were great. And the follow up was much appreciated. I highly recommend these folks.
Excellent care! I've been to other exotic vets in the area and by far Stahl was top notch. They only treat exotics so don't expect to bring your cat or dog here. We brought our rabbit for this visit after bringing him to a different vet. We received far better care and they provided so much help and info. Highly recommended!
I took my little ferret Sophie to SEAVS where I saw Dr. Summer because her condition was quickly becoming critical. Upon arrival they calmly but immediately took my Sophie back to check vitals and evaluate her. I was very impressed with the care and compassion they showed Sophie and I. Dr. Summer discussed all of my options with me and we decided the best option was to put Sophie to rest as she was a very sick little ferret.... Sophies final moments were very peaceful as they gave her pain medication and a sedative so she would fall asleep in my arms before they took her back for euth. They honored my wishes making it so her last memory was of me and my last memory was of her alive. They brought her back to me in a little box just as I had asked. They also brought 2 locks of her fur and a BEAUTIFUL clay print of her paws. Sophies death has not been easy in any way for me but I am happy they were able to help her pass over to the rainbow bridge. Thank you SEAVS, you have a phenomenal team of staff members, technicians, and doctors.
We have taken our guinea pigs to Stahl Exotic for years and could not be happier! Dr. Crum is knowledgeable and kind, not only to our pets but to us also. He guided us through some end-of-life issues with great sensitivity, but he also treated a life-threatening dental abscess with surgery and antibiotics, guiding us through the necessary home care. Our piggy recovered completely! We have been satisfied with all the vets at Stahl, but Dr. Crum holds a special place in our hearts.
Buddy, Holly and I always receive the best care. I don t trust any other exotic vets for my ferrets. SEAVS is upfront about costs and straight forward with diagnosis. I am glad they are in business. I have peace of mind because they are!
SEAVS is the best veterinary clinic that my wife and I have ever been to - and we've been to six in the PA-MD-VA area. Dr. Stahl and Dr. Krum are both caring and thoughtful people, who give their all to make sure that their patients receive the best care possible. They have treated our four guinea pigs for numerous problems, including:
- Cysts
- Upper respiratory infections
- Mites
- Bladder stone (removed via surgery)
Of course, it would have been best if our animals didn't suffer these problems in the first place, but despite all our love and care, when we needed help, SEAVS was there for us.

Best exotics vet in the country hands down! All the doctors are super knowledgeable and the support staff are all friendly and helpful. Very dedicated and hard working team there. The facility is beautiful and clean and full of state of the art veterinary medical equipment. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anybody with a reptile, bird, or small mammal.
We had a great experience with Dr. Costanzo and Zack. They were kind to my squirrel and explained their procedure very thoroughly. They took care of her quickly and made us both feel comfortable, great vet.
Our family has been bringing our turtles to Dr. Stahl for 20 years (since before he had his own practice), and he has given us great care and advice. When we first saw him, my parents thought our yellow bellied sliders Bonnie and Clyde were near the end of their lives, but thanks to his guidance they're still with us today. I was an inquisitive child growing up, and he was always happy to answer all my questions. I highly recommend this place to any exotic animal owners.
Read nothing but amazing things about this place. I have 2 rats and I came across Stahl. Took my boys for a simple check up and everyone was great. Kind, patient, helpful from start to finish. They WANT to help you. They clearly love what they do unlike some vets that just go through the motions and give you a prescription for anything and everything. Love Stahl Veterinary Services! When our sugar glider was sick, they were very helpful in making sure we understood the diagnosis and treatment. They were patient and answered all of our questions. Dr. Nielsen was very gentle with my green tree python, knowledgeable, and knew what she was doing. They don t make you wait a long time in the waiting room.
Good staff, good boarding facilities (at least for birds, which is all I have seen), but *very* pricey (and I'm comparing to vets in the Bay Area CA where just about everything is expensive.) One thing i have found odd is that they do t like to let humans out if the lobby - they take your pet into the back area and leave you sitting there. This is different from every vet I have ever seen. They are knowledgeable though, from what I can tell.
SEAVS is the best place to go if you have an exotic pet. I took my guinea here and I received the best medical care. Dr. Sommers was very nice and extremely knowledgeable and helpful. She clearly explained all the treatment options, answered all my questions, and was very sympathetic to my situation. The SEAVS staff members were also also very professional and friendly. I was very well taken care of here and would gladly bring my guinea pig back in the future. I would highly recommend coming to SEAVS!
Couple months ago i learned about Seavs from another vet i was going to when one of my guienea pigs had an emergency due to a bladder stone and she wanted to wait till she had "an opening the following week" to operate her, although its an hour from my house i was desperate to try to save my piggy, i was so worried they would turn me down because it was friday evening and they didn't have an opening, but that was not the case , as soon as i called they made arrangements to squeeze me in for the following day, once i got there i was so glad i had found them, they took the time to explain to me everything and give me my options, i opted for surgery although it was going to be risky due to the location of the stone, they gave me the option to bring her cage mate and they kept me informed of everything. In the beginning i was so scared but they reassure me of everything, both of my piggies stayed there for about 3 days and im sure they were taken care of, the vet techs and the Doctor herself kept me updated in everything. Everything was successfully unfortunately my little girl got very ill suddenly months later but even then had schedule an appointment days before just because i had seen her little off that say of the appointment i found her almost unresponsive and i called they told me they would put me as an emergency, although she passed away in my arms on the way there, as soon as i got there they took her back. Honestly although i found this place in such unfortunate circumstances, i know my gir was cared for and they tried all they could. About a week later i recieved a beautiful heart shaped paw print in the mail of her. I recently rescued two other piggies and one has health problems and is being cared for by Dr.Romo. I'm so glad i found this place all the vets that have seen my piggies are such a gem! They truly make you feel cared for something that i didnt received at my old vet. Although its so far of a drive, for the care you get its worth it.
From the moment you want into Stahl Exotic Animal Veterinary Services you know you are in good hands. I was greeted by two very friendly receptionists, Danya and Brittany, and the clinic was beautifully decorated and arranged. They welcomed me and asked me to sit down in the waiting room. To pass the time (I was thirty minutes early to the appointment since you never know what NoVA traffic will bring you), I had a nice warm cup of coffee from "Stahlbucks" and watched a little of animal planet.
Soon Nadja, a veterinary technician, brought me into an examination room and started asking a little bit about the little patient I brought in. She was extremely kind and seemed to really be "in it for the animals." Her demeanor was impeccable. After acquiring a brief history of my nephew's hamster, she left stating that Dr. Costanzo would be in shortly.
I initially was given a lot of flak from my co-workers about bringing a hamster to the doctor but this hamster is special. You see, my nephew has Asperger syndrome (form of autism). He never use to connect well with others until this hamster came into his life, about 1 year ago. He is the primary caregiver and it gives him responsibility and a sense of pride. He has learned to focus his anxieties and for the first time, in a long time, this little ball of fur is completely responsible for his laughter. Of course I didn't tell the doctor this, I thought it'd be too much pressure, but my nephew was there for the appointment....
Dr. Costanzo came in and shook both of our hands. He had a warm smile and talked directly to me and my nephew about the patient. He gently performed a very thorough physical examination and even let us both listen to our hammie's little heart beat! He diagnosed a respiratory infection and talked to my nephew (he's 8 years old) directly in terms he could understand. He then answered any and all questions we had and gave us some tips on how to care for him while he was sick. Dr. Costanzo is better than most human physicians I have been to. His compassion and knowledge of this little few gram animal was impressive. Not to mention, his way with children and being able to put things that are difficult to understand in an 8 year old's dialect. ***Ladies.... I did not see a ring and he is easy on the eyes!***
Our appointment went for over 30 minutes and we never felt rushed. We left with some medications and I am happy to report the little fur ball is improving! In fact, he is back to his old self. I would highly recommend this clinic to anyone with an exotic animal. The building, the staff (specifically Dr. Costanzo and Nadja), and the follow-up is exemplary. Keep up the great work!
I would not be exaggerating when I say that Dr. Stahl is the most professional, knowledgeable, considerate and reliable veterinarian I have ever encountered. He saved our beloved rabbit, Rosie, from death's door by being the only veterinarian to properly diagnose her mysterious and sudden symptoms. We had taken Rosie to two other veterinary practices, including the prestigious University of Florida Small Animal Research Hospital, and were unable to get any sort of meaningful explanation of our rabbit's condition. Needless to say, these veterinarians' failure to timely diagnose Rosie cost her her left eye. Thankfully, we were able to turn to Dr. Stahl, who immediately identified the cause of her vertigo, head tilt, and ocular ulceration. He was also the only physician willing to prescribe dual antibiotic treatment to combat the infection in Rosie's middle ear (so as to fight against both gram positive and gram negative bacteria). The breadth and sophistication of Dr. Stahl's knowledge is unquestionable, and he has consistently gone out of his way to explain everything to us in great detail. One can tell that he is deeply devoted to his work and to the well-being of the animals in his care. Words cannot express the depth of my gratitude to Dr. Stahl and his wonderful assistants and colleagues.

I was originally happy with my experience Stahl exotics. I took my leopard gecko to them and they were very kind. However, i called to make an appointment for my newly adopted bearded dragon with extensive tail rot. I wanted to get him in in order to see if he needed his tail amputated. The person originally said that the office fee would be $80. However, after I stated that I had taken my beardie to another vet, they stated that the cost of the exam fee would be $185. The cost of an emergency visit at another hospital is only $144. I had taken my beardie to the emergency clinic in order to get him pain medication as I am working until this Thursday and cannot bring my beardie in until then. I was shocked at the exuberant cost of a "second opinion appointment". I am a vet tech myself and am truly disappointed in the high cost of the appointment fee. When I asked for an explanation for the $100 additional cost of the appointment, the woman on the phone said that it was so the doctor could look over my pets medical records. The doctor should be looking at my pets medical records prior to any appointment regardless. I am sad to say that I will be needing to find another vet.
AMAZING office! Our sick Guinea pig brought us here for the first time today and I cannot explain the quality of care and customer service better than just saying, if you have an exotic pet, go here for their care!! Not only was the office updated and really well kept, but everyone there was kind, knowledgable, and cared about our pets wellbeing. For instance, when we first walked in we were greeted and then after announcing we had a very sick pig, was asked to let her see him so she could check to be sure there wasn't labored breathing or anything of concern so that if needed, he could be rushed to the back. Upon visiting with the vet & tech, I was provided with all the information needed and will absolutely come back yearly for checkups and any additional visits. THANK YOU Stahl Exotics for providing our area with quality care and service!

This is in regards to an appt on 1/17/2020 at 10 AM.
The first thing I will say is that the seemingly newer receptionist I interacted with did not seem friendly and willing to accommodate for my needs, which was the direct opposite of the former receptionists that I have interacted with. She seemed distant and unwilling to work with me at first, but eventually agreed on a compromise. At the end of my visit, when I needed to pay, she did not know what to charge me for and made it my duty to communicate that to her. I wasn't fully sure myself, I just knew the price, but I walked her through it.
My interaction with the receptionist was poor, but my interaction with Dr. Currie Carothers was phenomenal. I brought in my rat Benton for surgery to remove his top incisors which had been recommended by two doctors prior; one saying he would do it, but he had a poor track record and recommended Stahl. I was under the impression that this would somehow stop the bi-weekly tooth trimmings involved with a rat who has misaligned teeth, but little did I know I was incorrect.
I was not informed by the front desk that it had been years since the office had performed incisor removal. Considering I live an hour and a half away I think I should have been informed of that and perhaps had the option to speak with a vet over the phone. Instead I had to schedule a second opinion exam even though it was the third. This exam is $125, plus the gas money and time I would be spending to drive to Stahl's because they are one of the best exotic veterinary clinics around.
When I got into the exam room Dr. Carothers informed me that these surgeries were incredibly rare and would often only happen if the tooth was already loose and/or infected. I was disappointed as I had already spent much time and money to receive an appointment with Stahl, which was recommended from another doctor. I asked Dr. Carothers why, if two other doctors had said that an incisor removal was best, why she should disagree.. and in my frustrations started to cry. I apologized for blubbering to this poor woman who was simply giving me information. She quickly replied, "Don't ever apologize for caring for your animals. I have been there before." That level of support and understanding was welcomed as it's not always a common occurrence.
Dr. Carothers was more than willing to work with me and figure out what's best for my pet. This meant trimming his teeth, anesthetizing him to make sure the teeth were not loose, discussing with another doctor which I declined after learning more, and charging me for a regular visit instead of a second opinion exam as it was little work for her to decide. She also gave Benton subcutaneous fluids, vitamin B, and recommended a high calorie food for his weight loss. I left the vet in a different way than I expected, but I am incredibly grateful for the compassion and adaptability of Dr. Currie Carothers.
Incredibly caring treatment from Dr Hammer and stay
Everyone here is very professional,knowledgeable and really care about the animals' well being. Both Dr.Sommers and Dr.Romo as well as the Vet Techs were very good to my rabbit Chewuby. Would reccomend this place to anyone with exotic pets. As I was pacing around they kept giving me updates on my rabbit even when it wasn't their patient. Very friendly front desk as well! Though it's an hour long ride from MD it's well worth it.
Expert care for my 22 year old sun conure, Kelsey. Kelsey died from a proventricular disorder but he received excellent care from the vets and techs. He was there for 16 days and I visited him each day. I received daily progress reports from techs and vet. Dr Hammer always explained the pros and cons of each course of action. Spent about $4k on care - don't have any regrets - just wish Kelsey had recovered. They did everything they could to diagnosis and treat him. I highly recommend Stahl's. They are a very special group of expert avian caregivers.
The awesome staff at Stahl took me and my bearded dragon in last minute, despite a full schedule. My beardy had a severe eye infection and she not only received thorough treatment, but the vet was able to catch another problem that had previously gone unnoticed. I can't thank them enough!

We took our guinea pig there and I was very impressed. Staff was very nice when we arrived and made us feel welcome. The doctor and staff handled our guinea pig with great care and explained everything. They were very informative and gave us pricing when it came to additional tests. They also gave us very comprehensive printouts and showed us in the room how to administer medication. They explained their hours up front and told us where to go in case of emergency. My daughter is the primary caregiver for the guinea pig and they addressed her and spoke to her in a kind and professional manner. I highly recommend this place for exotic pets.

Excellent vet for birds, reptiles, rabbits, and other exotic pets.
Last experience was due to my one bearded dragon passing away. She had a rare stomach cancer. As bad as the situation was they made it as comfortable and pleasant as possible. My most off the wall questions are answered and they make you feel as good as you can. They truly care about each creature that comes to them.
Professional, friendly staff who ask all the right questions during intake. Dealing with the challenges of COVID-19 really well. They have a good procedure in place.
Dr. Nielson was great with our over the phone exam, and we could tell she gave Motoko a thorough exam and great care even though we were out in our car for the staff's safety.
Our veiled chameleon has a common tooth infection and will need us to give her medication at home, something we've never done before. Kathy, our tech, gave Motoko her first dose in the parking lot so we could observe while socially distancing from our car. She handled our grumpy little girl with practiced hands in what is surely an unusual situation!
These are veterinarians who care about the animals and humans around them! Their pricing was fair and they provided an estimate for us should Motoko need surgery in case the medication is not enough to clear up the infection.
I have taken my red-tail boa there for 3 years. Dr. Summer is wonderful with him. She really knows her stuff and always does a great job educating me on best care practices and what to look out for. The staff is very warm and friendly and the office is always immaculate and just a fun space. Highly recommend.

Took my rabbit here for an emergency visit as a new patient. Every single staff member I spoke to was pleasant and kind. The tech as well as the doctor took ample time to understand my rabbits complicated medical history, answer a plethora of my questions, and took time to explain my options as well as run multiple cost estimations for me. So thankful we found this veterinary hospital!
I've been bringing my guinea pigs to SEAVS for about five years now. They never fail to impress me with their professionalism, outstanding veterinary services, and kindness. I saw Dr. Hammer for the first time on this last visit and was just as impressed with him as I have been with all the other vets. As I told another patron in the waiting room (who was nervous about which doctor to see after Dr. Sommer left), you always get the best vet when you come to SEAVS. They don't hire anyone that can't meet their standards, and that goes from the reception desk to the vet techs to the vets themselves.

We found a box turtle in our basement well and went to surrender him to a rehaber for the winter. I was greeted with a smile and friendliness by Katie at the front desk. Then Baden, the turtle whisperer came and answered all of my turtle questions. Shelldon, the Turtle, became very animated with him. Animals can sense good people. Great experience with a knowledgeable and professional staff.
Dr Romo took excellent care of Coco the conure and I appreciate the time he took to talk with me about ways to curb her recent biting and hormonal behavior. Dr Romo is very patient and gentle with Coco(nut).
I am a very particular Bunny mom to my two bun-kids. I know what my bunnies love and need. I recently dropped them off for boarding and the staff once again was amazing. Stephanie was the vet tech to help me out. I told her the specifics of Buttercup and Orie and how they can not be separated during the day only at night (they are normally together but they didn t have a large cage to put both them in because I called last minute, my fault lol). I know when my bunnies get separated for long periods of time because they come home fighting if they do (I learned that when I took Orie to Pender of a midnight emergency). I told Stephanie which blanket was who s, how much food, the whole works. I am definitely the annoying pet parent but I do care about my bun kids. It was hard leaving them there overnight. I told her that if there were any emergencies only Dr. Costanzo was to touch them and give them meds no need to call just do whatever you can to save them (if you have ever had Dr. C you would know why) she understood which is really nice most tech at other vets just brush that off. The next day I came to get them Stephanie helped me out to the car and gave me a report card, which was the cutest thing in the world. I got home and my bunnies didn t fight which means that she truely listened to me. A lot of vet places don t get that. Buttercup is extremely aggressive when she gets taken away from Orie. I know that they listened and everything was fine. Excellent service from everyone there. Shout out to Wendy the receptionist who always helps us out and recognized Orie and Cuppy at check in.
Nova residents are fortunate to have such a great vet so close. Every veterinarian and technician really know how to treat small animals. I know my guinea pigs are getting the best care possible. The people at Stahl understand that these pets are family and treat your pet like their own family. I always feel extremely satisfied with the level of care that my animal receive. Highly recommend!!!!
Don't trust anyone else with my ferrets or birds, absolutely worth the 1.5 hour drive.
I took my red eared slider because she wasnt feeding well due to something in her mouth. Stahl Exotic made sure to keep me well informed of my turtle's condition and treatment options. My turtle ended up staying overnight and we were called with information before and after her procedure. Im very pleased with everything.
They were absolutely great. I brought in my leopard gecko and cannot day enough good about their service. Thank you!

Our budgie Kiwi had a terrible accident 5 days ago, and we were very close to losing him. My daughters (6, 8, and 12) and I were devestated, but Dr. Rodriguez and the staff were genuinely supportive and caring. We thought we were saying goodbye to him for the last time, but he made it through the night and through the next 2 days at the hospital. Dr. Rodriguez kept us updated all 3 days, until Kiwi was well enough to come home. She was very knowledgeable and upfront with the prognosis and costs, but at the same time, she did not force us into any decision. The day we brought Kiwi home, the tech was awesome modeling how to administer meds and patiently explained the discharge instructions. I know they took very good care of our little guy and he's doing well. This practice has excellent service and an excellent heart!
Welcoming doctors with a short wait time. They offer boarding ($39/day for my two guinea pigs). Glad I could find a specialist for guinea pigs. Dr. Nielsen was thorough and knowledgable. There was a bearded dragon and a blue parrot in the waiting room!
Dr. Sommer is fantastic! My African Grey loves her. I wouldn't go anyplace else for my parrots needs. The whole staff is so wonderfully nice, knowledgeable and helpful.
As expensive as it felt to take my rabbits here, it was absolutely worth it. Dr. Romo was truly exceptional. My bunny had a terrible tooth abscess that was misdiagnosed by another "rabbit" vet, where he received treatment that made his abscess worse.
There was none of that here. Dr. Romo knew exactly what was going on and how to fix it. He was thorough, clear, extremely knowledgeable, and kind. After surgery and a few days in the hospital, my rabbit has made a full recovery and is doing great. Such a relief.
We have seen many vets over the years but after going here, I won't take my rabbits anywhere else. Don't waste time and money on vets that don't know how to treat your pet. The specialized care here is absolutely worth it if you have an exotic.

Staff is knowledgeable and compassionate. They care about the pets welfare and even ask questions down to the habitat and food fed. I will bring all my small pets here and would recommend them to anyone. I couldn't be happier with the care my pet received.

I cannot say enough good things about this practice! Dr. Magnotti was fantastic and had a very direct, realistic, and honest conversation with me about my very old bearded dragon's health. I honestly thought I was going to put him to sleep days after being seen, but with her guidance and, let's be honest, emotional support we are a month down the road and he is so greatly improved I can't believe it. I know I won't have him long because of his disease and age, but she and her staff have certainly given me more quality time with him. I'm very thankful. You should absolutely take your exotic pets here.
I have been going to Stahl with my exotics for years. They have taken care of my ferrets, hedgehog, bearded dragons,rabbit and squirrels. They are an amazing group of people. They always get me in when needed and are responsive to whatever is going on. I can t say enough good things about them, it is a bit pricey but that comes hand in hand with having an exotic pet and should be expected. I trust them implicitly with my animals and highly recommend them. I drive 40 minutes there even though there are other exotic vets closer to me. All the doctors are amazing and the staff is also very caring and nice

I took my sick bird Jackson to see Dr. Costanzo after reading all of his Google reviews and talking to the front desk staff. Dr. Costanzo was not only professional, but also incredibly caring, and I could tell he cared for my bird as much as he does his own. Our appointment was at 4:30, he spent an hour of his evening with us talking over what was going on and explaining the treatment and medications, and answered any questions we had VERY thoroughly. I felt very assured by the care he gave my sweet Jackson, and I am happy to recommend any other fellow birds to him. Thank you for the great care!
