Nice arena and surrounding area but washrooms are tiny for the size and entry to venue was like being herded cattle very unorganized, took nearly 30 minutes to get into arena. Very limited eating around arena.

James Taylor....we got our tickets really late, but our seats were amazing. If you do t know the area, go early to find your parking. The streets become one-way and directed by tree traffic officers so your GPS will fail you, ours did. We ended up parking a few blocks away in a public parking structure but that turned out better when it was time to leave, less traffic headache. Oh, one thing though, if you plan to drink, bring your black Mastercard because all drinks are 12 bucks.

Took my daughter to see Disney on ice dare to dream. The show was great I plan on taking her again.

The food stand in front of section 101. Sucked for fifteen dollars a chicken tender box our fries were hard and cold, chicken tender was tasted funny like the grease was bad. The BBQ sauce was cocktail sauce with ketchup.

We only ate at that one because you got alot more food.
I guess we should of ate ate the other tender spot for six dollars and two tenders.
I say sometimes cost more is taste worst.

The arena is amazing. Nice staff. Great food all over. Been to a lot of arenas for hockey. This is by far the best. From the huge HD jumbotron, to the amazing pipe organ like in hockey arenas of old, the Lightning from the 2 tesla coils (amazing to see and crazy to hear!) it's just a sight to behold. Even the upper tier has great views and padded seats if you're on a budget. And lower bowl seats will give you an amazing experience. Best area though is the second level or the prime areas. Chase club and all. Best view, and a very relaxed and laid back area of the arena. Until the Lightning score of course!

With regards to people posting on here about the ticket situation. Do your research before you post. If you're reading a review, and one of these idiots is saying you can't wear other teams jerseys, that's just plain wrong. They don't want other teams jerseys in "prime" season ticket holder areas. Chase club and so on. I see no issue with this as its where season ticket holders the entire year have downed thousands there and don't want other teams fans around them. It's mainly for "Lightning season ticket holders" who once we play their team they then take off their Lightning gear and put on their other teams. If you have tix for the bolts and root for them all year you can't then root for another team. Sorry and hope you lose your tickets. And a team selling tickets to its states residents only is not just us but pretty much every team when it comes playoff time. Hawks are the same way. Can't control who you sell them to on the secondary market can you?

And a bad business plan? You've heard the Lightning owner is a billionaire who donates 50k a game right? Think the guy knows what he's doing haha. And uh Blackhawks fans Tampa was voted the #4 hockey town in hockey. You guys barely broke the top 10. Also with regard to other teams fans... A Detroit fan tried to light the American flag on fire in the arena covering over 100 ppl... Montreal fans started multiple fights and throwing beer on other fans.... Ranger fans urinating in the stairwells. So now maybe you also see why we may want the scum from other teams not coming and ruining a fun experience for others? Sorry our arena is nicer than yours. But don't ruin ours.

Hockey fans, for the regular season you can buy tickets from anywhere in the world and can sit where you please send wear anything you'd like when it comes to other teams. Don't let people turn you off to this amazing arena and experience. Most of these people never even intended to buy tickets and are just angry fans mad their team is in our rear view mirror these playoffs. It's an amazing place to see a show or game. Don't miss out.

The arena had been a hit or miss experience for me. Some of the events have been great (despite food and drink prices being quite high). This last event (The Luis Miguel event on 6/25/19) I went to, however, was bad. The performer was more than an HOUR late. I am sure that the arena might not have much to do with that portion, but we were highly dissatisfied with the experience.

This was my first time and was a great venue as far as organization. We paid for parking in the garage and found it very easy getting in an out. All the staff was very friendly and the venue was exceptionally clean. My only issue was the price of food and beverages. I ve been to several other arenas and this one by far is the most expensive. A beer is $16 where at other places I ve payed $10-12. A burger was $17 and popcorn was $9. I think that s a little extreme. The one good thing was that there were water fountains so you could refill your cups.

Five stars because it's the lightning home stadium, and concerts are great here. But there is no parking other than a variety of private and a few public options, Leaving you with a long walk and/or an expensive parking fee. Traffic handling before and after events is horrendous due to both TPD and Parking venue staff who could not possibly screw it up any further. Clearing security takes at least a half hour way too long. Who designed the entrance facing away from all possible approaches? Like many other entertainment venues such as stadiums or movie theaters, the food is crazy overpriced, and generally not very good, except for the few branded food choices. Tampa could do so much better with some common sense regarding design, traffic, ingress and egress, security, and concession choices.

WOW
