Great place to not only see the Tampa Bay Lightning game but also for concerts and other events.

Great environment for a hockey game! Production level is cranked up to an 11 at this venue.

Had a great time at the Heineken bar with great friends.

Saw Queen and the show was awesome. Great venue and the crowd rocked. Security was quick and efficient. Sound was great.

Recently I was presented with free tickets so that 4 people (myself 1of them) had the opportunity to go observe the Disney on Ice opening night.
I want to start this review by saying the Staff inside & Security outside were #Top_Notch
They performed their respective jobs with total professionalism.
The Signage inside & out was very clear to read to "way - finding" was thoroughly planned for everyone that might use the facility.
Although I didn't partake in any of the food vendors, it was something I took notice of in my way to my seat. The locations appeared very clean & well posted Signage of what was offered. Pricing (to me) appeared on point for an arena venue.
The only issue I had was (1) that is a significant detail I suggest anyone take heed to:
The seats I had (yes I'm considering the fact they were given to us as a business group package so they weren't the high dollar seats) were mostly comfortable considering the location. We could see everything fine; BUT my size 13" feet couldn't fit in the space the "builders" allowed for anyone to sit in a normal position.
I truly did try sitting sideways so I could make it work but then the armrest dug into my back (spine). No matter how I sat I couldn't get comfortable unless I sat UP on the Top of the back of the seat were my head / shoulders should've been, or put my feet over the top of the deer in front of me into the seat directly in the lower row.
I felt horrible about it, & kept praying nobody was being inconvenience but I didn't know what else to do.
I wasn't the only person in this situation I saw a mother & 2 father's doing the same thing & making comments about the topic.
It ended up that when the 1st intermission came I just left. I felt so embarrassed on top of uncomfortable.
I hoped my friends would stay (as they were shorter -& it didn't seem to bother them) but they ended up following my lead & left.

My suggestion to anyone going is to see if there is a way to find out how wide the "aside" or "foot space" is in front of your seat when it is folded down. Just think about it like an airplane.

Food is more expensive than Disney! Cant take anything I with you...the arena is very well kept..nice venue tho!

Best arena in the area. Busy, waterside, downtown Tampa. Pro hockey team and concerts mainly.

Love the venue and it is one of the great spots in the City that brings all the A list performers in town. Prices are fairly reasonable for a concert but like every other venue like this be prepared to pay high prices for food and drinks. Parking is very easy to get to. Park in the silver parking lot and you are literally steps away from the a entrance

A great place to go for the night! The lightning games are always a blast! Drink prices are very high though

I've been there twice and had a great experience both times. Lines move quickly, bathrooms where clean and employees where helpful and friendly.

I enjoyed the concert. It was easy to get into the parking garage and over to the arena. However my only negative thing was the elevator that I went up on as a disabled person they would not let us go back on and I walked from one end of the hall to the other because they told me I could go down on 204 and that lady told me the elevator didn't stop there and anyway after the concert I ended up walking back and forth trying to find a an elevator for disabled persons. This not the first time this has happened. Otherwise things were great people are very helpful and professional.

It'll cost you $50 to eat if you are ok with that but you get to see live hockey, and it's the lightning! Goooo lightning!!

Never saw bad concert though at times the sound could be better, but that's the sound man's problem not the venue.

Well, the game today was incredible. Lighting beat Canucks 9 to 2. And a career 1st hat trick was witnesses. Yee Has?

Concessions is WAAAAY overpriced... $6.50 for a 20oz soda??? Crazy!!!!

Plenty of amenities, nicely equipped and clean. Parking is rather further but not an issue. The NHL match we've seen was an awesome experience.

So fun!! We have been to lots of events at Amalie and always have a good time. I would recommend getting seats on the upper level and not the ground floor, since this is an ice arena and your feet will be very cold and it is hard to see if you're short or have children. Otherwise. A very good time with tons of food and drink options.

Clean, well run but extremely overpriced. Holy cow 16 bucks for 1 beer? Ridiculous.

Long way from home in Orlando but once there it's a beautiful building to attend events. I a Hockey game

Great event. Helpful staff. KISS and Iron Maiden. Packed house and very organized.

Went to see circus. Very clean, easily accessible and plenty of parking. Lots of food options and seats were great for the show.

Andrea Bocelli was wonderful, arena better for hockey

Still my favorite arena for viewing hockey games! This season many changes have been made based on consumer surveys. The only disappointment is no Tito's.

Went to my 1st Annual itworks conference and best vacation ever. Yeah the food in the arena and surrounding area was expensive but I'm guessing that is true around convention centers and expos (i don't too many). But, bathroom was clean and any seat was a good view to stage. And allowing us to party outside in Thunder Alley was cool!

PARAAA EVERYTHING place I was very top to attend the travis scoot show and I was silly with this huge place, air conditioned, clean bathrooms, and still has wi fi released numbered armchairs which makes you stay in the place you bought and people respect, super I recommend and hope to return soon

Loved my first hockey game and Amalie Arena was a great venue. Easy to maneuver, easy to find seats, plenty of food and drink spots. Clean bathrooms and plenty of them. Gorgeous location. Easy parking ($25 for half a block away).

Took my son to the, Twenty One Pilots concert. Great show, Awesome Arena and I can't wait to catch a hockey game there

J Cole was a great performer. Bathrooms were clean and food was really good.

I would be able to go to more events if the food and drinks didn't cost so much. It's sad how much you pay for a ticket on top of everything else. I wish somebody who work there could be a human being and adjust these prices

Attending NCAA Women's Final Four Basketball. One night down, one to go. Highly organized handling of guests and services. Cozy seats.

Very clean, but incredibly COLD even in the top decks during a convention when nowhere near the covered floor/rink. The A/C was brutal!

Went for the beach Tampa. Will be back for a game. I was here many years and names ago. Nice venue and easy to get to.

Saw 21 Pilots!!!! They put on one heck of a show. Parking was expensive but not as bad as the drinks available. $7 for a bottle of water and you can't take the cap w you ???

This place is awesome. Clean, great atmosphere and easy to navigate.

Clean and well setup stadium. Had my first Chilli Mac and cheese hot dog. Definitely filling.

I got to see John Mayer live on The Search For Everything Tour and it was an amazing experience. The arena was spotless, the staff were overly friendly and the food was good. (A little pricey but good) If I'm going to go to a concert or event again, it will be at this place.

The sound is really good. Great concert venue with great location and very well organized parking process. It was a breeze to park and get in. My only problem is I cannot sit on any of the chairs. I was in section 103 and I could not sir down for the life of me. No leg space and since I am a big man I don't fit in these tiny chairs. That's the only thing stopping me from going to more concerts and Lightning games. That and the super overpriced food and drinks. I'd rather starve than pay those outrageous prices.

Saw Twenty One Pilots and it was an amazing experience! We were on the floor and had a great time. Friendly staff and security was tight!

Food and beer prices are way out of line so it looks like the NHL has gone the way of the rest of the sports world i could see a eight dollar beer but not a 16.75 one which is the only one available

Great venue, friendly staff, but....THE PRICES FOR FOOD AND DRINKS ARE ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS!!! $17 FOR A CAN OF BEER, $17 FOR A BURGER. GREEDY PRICE GOUGING OF YOUR FAITHFUL CUSTOMERS!!! WE WILL NOT BE BACK.

The Arena itself is beautiful!! The only negative thing right this second, is one all the road construction going on around the arena, which also caused parking to be at a premium cost right now! What used to cost $10, now cost $30. I know it's a game of supply and demand, but they really need to get the construction finished!!
