Just wanted to say that Bob is the greatest car sales man. My wife and were looking for a car and stop at the dealer cause a really like a Lexus you guys had there. Bob we the extra mile to make sure we need everything about the car. Not only that Bob took us on a test drive to make sure the cat was running to standards. It was pretty much like driver's ed class. Unfortunately we didn't buy from there car was sold out when we came back, but we made sure to give the other cars at different place the Bob test. Bob thanks for everything you were the best car sales man.

The only reason I'm giving St. Charles Toyota a 5 star rating is because the rating system only allows for maximum of 5 stars! Everyone at the dealership were beyond outstanding and made the whole experience quick and painless. Adam Costa was a pleasure to deal with from beginning to end and the sales manager Israel Leiva provided awesome guidance and support in getting my daughter her first car. Roger Miller worked extra hard to obtain financing and handled everything like a boss! I would highly recommend St. Charles Toyota if you're in the market for a new or pre owned vehicle. No pressures and no hassles! Great work guys. My family and I couldn't be happier!!!

The salesman (Mike, I think) was very friendly, non-pushy, and helpful. He took the time to get to know my family and did whatever he could to help meet our needs. We ended up buying a Certified 2015 Prius that came with an excellent warranty.
Also, the financing manager (Derrick), was easy to work with and he got us in out quickly once we reached a deal. This was important as I had my 11-month old daughter with us.
It was definitely the best car-buying experience I've had, and I will be back for future purchases.

Bought a 2013 Toyota Sienna van a few weeks back from this dealership. We were in need of a bit newer van to fit our needs of a young family of 5. We discussed with the internet team the price of the car, and the condition. We reached a temporary impasse because the dealership's policy is to not take out of state checks, which is understandable. However, since I was an out of state buyer, I was uncomfortable with doing a wire transfer without having seen the car. Fast forward to the good part!

My wife and I flew down to Chicago, where Bob Pearson, our sales guy, picked us up from the airport. He drove us 45 minutes out to the dealership, where we were able to test drive the Sienna, discuss and make sure we were comfortable making the purchase before signing anything. The also agreed to absorb the cost of the flights into the price of the car, which was a very nice guesture! Once we agreed on the deal, Bob chauffeured us to and from lunch while we awaited the transfer to complete. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and allowed us to take our time while we worked out the details. We drove the car home the next day and enjoyed every minute of it. We are very happy our purchase! Thank you to Bob and team at St. Charles Toyota. Highly recommend!

I purchased a 2019 RAV4 from Bob Pearson at St Charles Toyota. The entire buying experience was pleasant. He worked with us patiently over a 10 day period as we started from looking at used cars to eventually purchasing a new car. He understood our needs and budget, and never once forced us to make a decision. He wasn't persuasive and gave us our mental space to make our own decision. I would strongly recommend St Charles Toyota and Bob Pearson. We walked away feeling good about our purchase and for the first time don't have a buyer's remorse.

I felt I was given a fair price for my car and on the back end I still feel taken care of after 5 years. Their maintenance staff is honest and they tell you when you need something done, nothing more nothing less. I highly recommend looking for your next Toyota in STC.

This dealer sold me an extended warranty 4 years ago with the promise that if it was not used that I would receive a rebate of $1,000 at the end of the warranty. The company issuing insurance on the warranties went out of business. So now the dealer refuses any responsibility. I would not have bought the warranty if I had known that this could happen and my money would not be rebated.

When I went in to ask them about the warranty they didn't even ask my name and gave me a story about how they were affected too. They didn't offer any solution or good will for a loyal customer. I was never even contacted that this warranty company had gone out of business last year.

My immediate family has purchased 3 cars and my extended family has also purchased from this dealer. We have our cars serviced here regularly. The terrible customer service offered by the owner's son and two other employees as well as the discovery of these scam warranties they push on customers is deplorable. I will take my business and my family's business elsewhere.

I got my '19 Camry from this dealership end of March. I also got my '15 Sienna from them in 2015. I am from Rockford, Illinois and I didn't mind driving to St. Charles for my 2 cars. Agents are great to deal with, they understand my needs and very accommodating. They do not give small freebies though such as key chain or whatever, as appreciation especially if it's your second purchase already. The dealer sent an extra key and fab for my Tundra. I had St. Charles Toyota program them. The service report said labor was $135/hour. I was there for a total of 43 minutes. The bill should have been about $96. They charged me $202. The Ace Hardware, across the street from Toyota, had a sign out front regarding programming keys. I inquired inside. $29.95 to program both! I feel taken advantage of. I contacted Toyota. They told me they charge a flat rate for keys. I won't be back.

I have always been very satisfied and most impressed with the entire operation they have.

The service staff is very nice, and well informed. They explain your car's situation in easy to understand manner. They are very thorough.

Good service department. Competitive prices. Friendly staff, comfortable waiting area. The only complaint is they always turn off the automatic headlights when you take your car in for service. They failed to turn them back on and then you don't realize it unless you are on a very dark Road or other cars are flashing you. This happens almost every time I go in there. It doesn't make sense. Luckily it happened again today but I was reminded by buying a little note that I left myself to check the automatic headlights when I picked up my car.

Great service until after you buy the car.. then they blow you off. I traded in my Honda Passport and the salesman kept my COACH key chain and when I asked about it the next day they said it was gone and it was my fault for leaving it. I had just given them tons of money and this is how I was treated. Later, when I pushed the issue, I was told the key chain was found, only to find when they gave it to me it was torn in half and not usable with the part they gave me. It was evident they ruined it. I asked for a small monetary replacement and their reply was rude and condescending. Those men, Robert Lyle and owner Steven Alf, who were so sweet and kind before the purchase, turned in the drop of a hat. They care nothing for you, let me warn you, you are just a sale. I am a young woman and this is a key chain that my deceased father had gifted to me, and this meant nothing to any of them. I urge you to look elsewhere and hopefully there exists car salesmen with souls. Yes, that is a harsh review, but this is has been a terrible experience in retail. I bought a 36k car and they won't give me 95 dollars for a key chain they ruined! Beware!

Update, you just left a message from the owner stating this is not the way you treat customers and to call you for help. You have refused to help me for the past few months. I even had to go through Toyota corporate and still your customer service manager has not replied. So your message below is a joke. I want others to know fully that you are not willing to even compromise to make the situation right. This dealership lacks integrity and isn't being honest in their reply. They do not wish to help me.

2019. Adding to my first negative review. I needed a part replaced on my new Prius and didn t want to pay the mark up at the dealership so purchased online at another deleaeship and saved more than half the cost. Made an appointment to have it put on here for about 300 dollars! I called before I left and told them I would be a few minutes late and was told that wasn t a problem. I live over an hour away. I arrived and was told In a very dismissive way that I could not be serviced because I was late and they don t put on parts not purchased by them! They didn t care that I drove over an hour. They refused to help and the next day a manager called me and offered no solution other than the employee who told me I could be late was I correct. Money money money!!
So I called Romeoville Toyota and they replaced the part for less than half of what this dealership was offering and were very respectful and kind. I wish I had purchased my car from them.

My wife and I bought a certified Toyota Sienna 2014 with 24,000 miles with a full warranty. We had a good sales process with Ryan Lyle. During the 30,000 mile warranty service at a dealership closer to my house, it was discovered that, the alignment weights that were put on the back wheel were incorrect as it begun to rub on the brake assembly adn cause a whooping noise. The Service Department that fixed the issue asked that I send bill ( $68.90) to St. Charles Toyota. The initial call and follow up with the service department was pleasant. Subsequent follow up since 10/1/16 have been a disaster. I have spoken to several service managers and none are around to answer any call or take responsibility on getting reimbursed. I spoke to Charles an assistant service manager who was extremely rude to me, asking me why I had not returned the vehicle within two weeks. I explained that the noise was only discovered after the wheel alignment and rotation had been done at 30K miles during the mandatory service. He did not care. He just treated me like an idiot.
I have escalated this to Toyota Corporate and still waiting to hear back from Phil the service manager and his rude assistant.
I am extremely disappointed at this turn of events as I have owned several Toyota products: Camry 92, Avalon 06 and Sienna 14.if I don't change my mind I might purchase a highlander in the future. This has warped my perception of Toyota and will look somewhere else in the future.

I had a really negative experience with this deale...

I had a really negative experience with this dealership today and yesterday. I would not recommend them to any friends or family members. We bought our 2017 Rav 4 at Toyota of Naperville, and that is the only Toyota dealership we will be returning to.

I took my Rav 4 in for a replacement passenger side mirror yesterday at 4 pm. From 4-4:47 pm, the staff decided on an estimate. At 4:47, Brian, the employee helping me, came back with an estimate of $487.51. At that time, I asked if I could call my husband to confirm that this was the approach we wanted to take, as we have a close friend who is a mechanic in Lake Bluff, and we wanted to weigh our options.

Brian agreed, and said he would be right back. I called my husband at 4:47-4:53 (per my call log on my phone), and we decided to go through with the repair at this location for convenience. I waited a few minutes, looking around for Brian, and he didn't return. At 5:10, I went into the garage area to look for Brian. Mind you, I am 5 months pregnant, and it was 40 degrees outside in the garage.

There was no sign of Brian at that time. I went back inside the waiting area, and waited until about 5:30. At that time, I went back outside, no one asked if I needed help or offered to find Brian for me.

Finally, on my 3rd attempt into the cold garage, I waited in line for someone to acknowledge my presence. It was now 5:53. This other employee (not Brian) said that Brian had left to take the van to pick up customers. He didn't know when or if Brian would return. He said, "could you just wait 5 minutes? I'm not sure what we are supposed to be doing here. Service just locked me out of your ticket, and I can't understand what is supposed to be done." Even though I'd been waiting outside in the garage for several minutes.

After 5 more minutes, this new person helped me. He was not apologetic. He said the part would be in by 12 noon today (Friday), and they would call me for installation.

As a teacher, I needed to be sure I got in contact with Toyota on my plan period, which falls shortly after noon. I called because I hadn't heard from them, and they did say it was in. I set up an appointment for today at 4 pm.

Brian apologized today and said he, "space cadeted" and totally forgot about me. I told him I was extremely unhappy and that being 5 months pregnant and in a garage in the cold was not okay.

The installation of the part took under 40 minutes. He brought me to check out, and the amount was higher than what he told me yesterday. Yesterday, I paid $380 for the actual part. I was told I would pay $100 today for the hour of service. Brian took $15 off my bill today for my troubles, and then proceeded to charge me $120, which is over what he told me yesterday. He said it was due to the tax on the services, which doesn't make much sense.

The icing on the cake was when the service department called my husband at 4:41 pm today to tell him the part was in, and we could set up an appointment. He was irate because of their treatment of me yesterday. He explained that I was either currently there or driving home, with the new side mirror on the car. They said they would call me today by 12, and they did not, so I called them. Everything was disorganized and super unprofessional.

All in all, it was a frustrating and upsetting experience. I will not be back, and I will be certain to advise all friends and family to stay away.

Never liked this place, and don't like going here. But it's the closest place to me. They charge too much, and I never feel like I am treated well or given a fair price. I don't even trust what they have to fix, and they are always adding on some extra things they think I should do. I'll go for an oil change, but for anything else, I drive to Elgin--plus Elgin is a Costco dealer so I know I can always get 15% off.

I've never bought a car before, but Bob Pearson was extremely helpful, transparent, kind, and patient with me to get me through the process. The test-drive was a lot of fun. He did not push any extra costs for additional warranties on me, although he offered them and very politely did not push back when I declined them. I was able to get through the process of buying a certified pre-owned vehicle in a couple of days without much hassle. I am very happy with the experience. I spoke briefly with the pre-owned manager Israel Leiva, and he was polite and helpful as well.

I ended up going a different direction, but my experience with this dealership was so outstanding that I feel compelled to leave a review. Adrian Gutierrez was incredibly helpful, responsive, and patient to answer my numerous questions - a refreshing customer service experience that you don't find in many dealerships - he is excellent to work with! I made another purchase with St. Charles Toyota a couple of days ago. Everyone here is very Helpful, knowledgeable, informative, and personable. The folks here are also very genuine, courteous and professional with their customer service. I've never had a problem with either servicing my car or trading it in for another. Always a pleasant experience. They go above and beyond to help troubleshoot if there is a problem if there is a problem. These are the reasons why I keep coming back.

Great experience with Lauren! Bought a brand new 2018 Camry and she was so great to work with. This is my second Toyota and both times bought from st. Charles because they give you the best price straight up, no going back and forth. I did a lot of research and compared every offer from around chicago area and they were the only ones to give you the true out the door price the first time. Would highly suggest going here and ask to work with lauren she was extremely nice and pleasant to deal with.
