I normally do not write reviews but felt obliged due to the VIP treatment I have received from David Lines at Square One Resources. David Lines is an amazing consultant and probably the best I have met. David sought me out for potential job opportunities around Luton, based on my CV and always recommended jobs that were suitable based on my situation.

Throughout the whole job searching process David has been amazing at keeping me up to date with any new information and was always quick to answer emails or update me with new information. David was openly available during all working hours and he would gladly answer any queries I had.

When it came to the interview stage David gave tips on how to deal with face-to-face and phone interviews, and was always reassuring which helped boost my confidence. Mohsin provided sufficient information before submitting my CV to client. Subsequent to that, when I was selected for the interview, he gave me useful tips and complete details about the process itself, which helped me to crack the interview. He is so committed, was happy to answer phone calls at 8PM!!!

Post getting the offer, he made sure paper works are sorted out in a timely manner, which allowed me to start this job in two days!!! Apart from that, he made sure that all my company details are on-boarded in the agency system, there by ensuring I got paid on time.

There are not many honest individuals in recruitment industry, however can confidently say he came across as one. Overall, I felt he came across very helping & consistent in communication, was very reliable & nice person to work with, so can't thank him enough.

I don t tend to leave reviews on anything but for the service I received from Reuben at Square One it defiantly need some recognition.

He was not just efficient at what he done, he also helped me through the process. Any questions I had or any problems I faced he offered a helping hand. Reuben also helped me to get an increase on my daily rate and at no point tried to push my rate down like a lot of recruiters do.

Reuben is the best recruiter I have ever come across and overall a top man. I can recommend him enough to people looking for a new contract.

If you are going to call me in the early morning to discuss a role please do the following first;
1. Please read the CV included in the application to see what skills the job seeker possesses.
2. Be knowledgeable in software or skill sets required to insure that you aren't clueless when discussing the role.
3. Ensure that more a senior staff with a better understanding of the industry handles recruitment for clients who require niche technical skills.

Imagine getting a call from a square one recruiter with under a year's experience to recruit for a role where the client needs an expert with over 5 year's experience in a particular software. Recruiter has no idea what skills are required.

Despite repeated requests to communicate by email, Aiden insisted on phoning me and rambling on when the entire 15 minute conversation could have been handled in 2 lines of an email.

Completely wasted my time.

I have know the guys are Square One for many years and they have placed me on 3 contracts good long term contracts. They keep in regular contact during and out of contract with suitable roles. Payments are made on time and any issues have always been fixed promptly. I see then as one of my go to recruitment agencies and would recommend them without hesitation

Christine Sands is definitely the best job consultant I have ever met. I submitted CV and only several hours later, I received the call from Christine. She not only offered me many professional suggestions related to my career development, but also encouraged me to build up confidence. She kept me informed of any progress from the beginning to the end. The result is very good, and I can t make it without her efforts. I am so impressed by Square One Resources!!!

Absolutely unprofessional, unethical & full of lies, please avoid at all costs and find another agency if possible. I was dealing with James Seales and found a new contract job that was supposed to be Immediate joining as per his JD, but when the job was offered, he asked me to wait for 2 weeks. I signed the contract following which I stopped looking for other options as per their confirmation and waited for the joining being jobless for 2 weeks, but when I contacted the agency 2 days before the joining date to ask for joining details, to my surprise they informed me that the client has pushed back the joining date by 3/4 weeks. Couple of days after, another agent Zahra called me and told the client has postponed the contract until further notice, convinced that their agency will terminate my contract to help me find a new job, been 3 weeks yet, but haven't heard anything back from these guys, even when I chased them a few times. Fortunately I realised their working standards sooner and didn't rely on their 'help'. Overall, the worst ever experience I have ever had with any agency.
