Square One was the recruitment company I went through for a contract Business Analyst role at a large utility company. From the outset the Square One recruitment consultant was very proactive in chasing down the hiring manager; we also had monthly reviews and catch ups as I had multiple extensions. Also the admin and payments side was faultless as I got paid weekly on a Friday, as long as my approved time sheet was submitted by Tuesday lunchtime. So, happy to provide an endorsement of Square One as a recruitment consultancy service.

Square One is absolutely unprofessional and unreliable in my case. They botched the TC appointment with the client and kept me waiting over an hour. No valid explanation. To prepare for the interview that never happened, they sent me two form documents meant for beginners which had typos and spelling mistakes. I've been over 20 years in business, but they sent it to me anyway. Good luck with Square One Resources, you will need!

EXCELLENT RECRUITER: I have very recently been onboarded by Mo Miah onto a major EU Exit programme. The process was very fast and efficiently managed and with very proactive contact. Over the last 25 yrs I have operated through all the big PSL suppliers and headhunters and have found SquareOne to be excellent in every dilligent aspect of dealing with a new contractor like myself and my first contract after a long break. Terrible company with absolutely atrocious business practices. One of the team has been cold calling our business up to 3 times a day for the best part of year. Each and every time he has been told we have zero interest in talking to them, and to please remove us from their call lists, but they continue to pester us. If the harassment persists much longer we'll be looking to put in formal complaints, and possibly consider legal action. Less an agency and more a spam call centre. Stay away. Stay well away.
