Very helpful organization, the staff is knowledgeable and considerate. But you have to go there in person, because its very very difficult to reach them by phone.

I had called and talked to one of the guys that does taxes, Sammy. He scheduled me for a 1:00pm appointment for March 4th. I drove all the way there and then my name wasn't on the list. So the lady at the desk gave me an attitude she slammed her paper on the desk in front of me. She kept asking me if I saw my name on the list after the fact I told her Sammy schduled me for an appointment. She told me in a very rude way because he didn't write my name down I'd have to call monday and make a new appointment . I called today they haven't picked up not once all day. This was my first time going to get my taxes done and the receptionist knew I was young so she was trying to talk to me any old type of way. They're very disorganized because Sammy should have written my name down.

Serving the springfield community has made me a better person. I get to interact with different personalities. GOD IS GREAT WE FILE TAXES FOR FREE

These people are amazing angels!! They help soo many for soo little. They help work with people and assisting veterans, they have some people who work there that can help you in ways you might not want but need. These people and this place are incredible and I am grateful for the opportunity and help they have offered to people I love and know.

Had a very horrible experience. the gentleman they put me with to do my taxes try saying I couldn't clean my 8 month old daughter and then lied Shang he spoke to his boss and that his boss told the bike had to claim her at 12 months.so then he proceeded saying that he put on my tax return. My daughter was 12 months so then I can claim her in this year's taxes. so basically he was lying on my IRS paperwork in lying to me which I don't feel safe with I will definitely be going to go pick up my w twos today please be aware of getting your taxes done here a lot of these people are volunteers if you need someone professional your best bet is going to h&r block or TurboTax

I left there feeling productive and like I accomplished something. That was after a simple conversation with a counselor who gave me some much needed advice. People there were bgg other friendly and helpful. Just peeking at the range bbn of literature they had on various services they offer told me that this was a place someone can go to and truly receive the help they need. I'm so glad I went there.

My person that attended me (Juliett) was not only patient and kind, but also lovely in every respect. Her supervisor was pleasant and helpful also. I have never been treated anything but respectfully and kind here.

Whoever you all had at the front desk answering phones on Friday 3/5/2021 was very very rude. They refused to answer my questions on my case and said some lady was going to call me back and I never got a call. On top of it this lady who answered the phones hung up on me 2x and I had to call back each time, then she proceeded to tell me it's not Community Action after she had access to my information. Very unprofessional and I am left still no response in regards to my case. I wish someone would call me because this is getting very frustrating and I have sent you all documents you requested from me and still nothing.

Very nice people. Very personable, courteous and very helpful. I saw Mr Gus Erskine there and and he helped me tremendously. He's a very nice man and the receptionist was very helpful to me as well!!

This organization has been so kind and helpful in many ways. I keep waiting for something to change but the folks are kind and compassionate and the process is straight forward which takes some of the fear away from asking for help. No matter the outcome of my case, I would recommend them to others in true need.

The veteran's who I went to see was very inviting and gave me plenty of information regarding their services.

Very helpful. As long as you have your papers in order, things will go well.

Alot of resources available in one place. Especially for Veterans.

I took my home buyers class here and I learned a lot. They really help you understand the whole process of buying a house.
