I tried to hold an event at this location and unfortunately I was given the most unprofessional person to work with. It seems like he didn't want me to hold my event at this venue. I had special religious needs when it comes to food. I explained it to him and his answer was why don't you just tell your guests that it is blessed and serve him anything. I told him I can't his answer was it is not a big deal. He also said why don;t you go to any Indian venue or restaurant. He got load and rude. I told him that I will have 65 people and said no you won't only 40 will show up. I said I had 60 people confirmed that they are coming so I need bigger room which he promised me in our first meeting. At the end he said why don't I move my event to November. What a joke. Clearly he was being prejudice towards my religion my cultural values. I would not recommend this place if you have special dietary needs.

Attended a show hosted by one of our vendors. I've been to better venues for such events. Shared space for the presentation and meals so the hall was set up dining style. Made it a bit uncomfortable to view the presentation portions.

Our wedding planner promised us the moon and gave us a lunar eclipse. We went over all the plans with her in detail, down to simple issues like what tables were getting veggie meals so they were served at the same time as the others at the table, to huge issues like the order of introductions of the wedding party at the reception which were both screwed up, and OH the initial promise of "we'll get you where you need to be at all times" well, that never happened either. It was 45 minutes between cocktail hour and our introductions! because no one got us where we needed to be! There were not even enough chairs for the guests at the ceremony. Simple math, 170 guests means 170 chairs, yet people were left standing along the back and sides during the ceremony which the bride was late for because no one got us where we needed to be. All the while the groom was standing for 20 minutes in front of the guests....waiting. Why was he told to process in when the bride was still in her hotel room. I could go on and on about the screw ups, but I'll just say one more thing....the cake topper that you freeze till your first anniversary..was never refrigerated. It was left on a counter with flowers set upon the cake box all night long! Needless to say the cake was in sad shape. Some moments you can't get back, so we choose to remember the good and the perfect celebration of love we experienced as a family. But my suggestion is this...the food was great, it's a wonderful venue. But don't trust the planner or matre'd to handle your details. Be proactive and do it yourself. Make sure you post signs directing your guests where to go because many of ours went into the wrong wedding because even the valets had no clue where to direct them. The planning can be improved and I hope the SCC will take this criticism to heart and your wedding will be a full moon event!

Worst experience. We had reservations for Easter Dinner Buffet. The young girl there was extremely rude not only to me and my party of 11, but many others in line. She did not have a bit of customer service skills, not friendly, and very rude. The country club should really think twice about having her deal with the public. I was very embarrassed in front of other customers, but especially my family. I have been a customer for
many years and this is the first time I truly wanted never to return. On a positive note, I love the food and atmosphere. Best around. What a shame it had to be tarnished by a very rude individual.

Asked if there were club rentals for my clients to use and the guy I was on the phone with didn t even check to make sure He just put the phone down and picked it up and said that he confirmed they aren t renting clubs I don t know about anybody else but that screams bad service I wonder how bad the rest of the club is

Springfield Country Club has really gone downhill ...

Springfield Country Club has really gone downhill recently. We ve had multiple events here in the past, including our rehearsal dinner, our wedding, and all 4 of my children s baptisms. We had our son s christening yesterday. I booked it through Laura. First, the elevator to the upstairs room was down, which wasn t helpful trying to get the baby s stroller up there or some of the older guests. Stuff happens though, and I would ve let that slide. However, it felt to me as we were in the room upstairs that we were simply forgotten about. The service was terrible from the get-go, and more than half of our guests left before dessert was served because everything moved along so slowly. I had chosen salmon and chicken, and some of my guests ordered salmon and were told they d have to wait 15 minutes. I tried to resolve the issue with management before I left and all they did was become defensive and tried to put the blame on me saying some of our guests arrived late. The management s attitude is the main reason I m writing about my experience. Take ownership of your mistakes, apologize and make things right. Don t try and blame the customer, especially a loyal, repeat customer. I will think twice before I book another event here, and you should too. It s not the same place it once was.

NYE party was a little disappointing, dessert on the table when we arrived piled up. The Band was great but too many breaks. Huge band could have played the 5 hours. Over crowded this year you couldn t even move. The champagne toast was awful, it was a sweet tasting apple cider. And you had to go find it yourself. Food was ok but over cooked. Got to find a better venue next year

Great home course to play regularly. Always in good shape now. The work to change out the grass has paid off for sure. It has enough variety to satisfy all levels of players and the price is fair. There are better and worse around but the greens fee reflects that.

Printed out the Free Round (w/ cart fee) during your birthday month coupon to use for my first time playing the course on a weekday evening. The course was nearly empty, which was nice...played 18 myself in 2.5 hours; however the fairways were atrocious!

I figured the cart fee would be maybe $8-$12...it was $18!!! I prefer walking and asked to walk, but they said they "don't do that here." The course was empty, not to mention it was Cart Paths Only EVERY HOLE and I probably walked more with a cart than if they just let me carry my bag. They let juniors walk (a common rule), but that defeats the purpose of requiring everyone to ride carts in my opinion. The best golfers in the world walk.

The course has some potential, but they need to learn how to grow grass first.

This is a worst place for helding the events. I booked this place for my daughter's Big Indian wedding for about 500 ppl. We gave business of 4 events in two days. Dennis was working with me and my planner through out the year and we had given him details of everything about our events. It was all organized on our side however Dennis did very lousy Job on his part. For all the events there was no event manager available on the property. Dennis and Nancy never met me or my husband during two days of the events. Dennis did not fulfilled his promises about serving water bottles to welcome baraat, toast was not provided in the reception, gave dirty coffee mugs in the reception. Did not gave access to the kitchen part which was shown to caterer at walk through. Did not provided stove to caterer. Dennis and Nancy are the worst event coordinators at Springfield Country Club PA. I don't recommend this place for helding the events at all. For the amount we paid, this was not worth place.

Calling for golf is uncomfortable. Staff is rude. Had 2 parties here and staff and food were good in restaurant and banquet room but at each party, the fountain sodas are flat and syrup-y. Like they never change the tanks. It's disappointing when you're spending so much. For such a convenient, cute place it is really deficient in a lot.

Above and beyond customer service - booked via Golf18Network - despite decent weather predictions the golf gods forbode us to finish. Was informed around the turn that the course had closed. Pro Shop went out of their way to contact Golf18 to get us a full refund. They didn't have to do that but did it anyway. 5 star experience this time and previous outings. Never a bad choice to book here.

Brunch with Santa! Our third year visiting with Santa and as expected it was amazing. Even our 16 year-old is still loving it! Springfield Country Club puts on a great spread with a very reasonable, all-inclusive price that can't be beat. The staff is friendly and attentive and really seem to love what they are doing. But the proverbial icing on the cake is the star of the show, Santa himself! You can always tell that Santa loves what he is doing. If you arrive early for your seating you may catch him in the lobby greeting his guests. If you miss him there don't worry, Santa is always around interacting with everyone at their tables and throughout the dining room. Of course your kids can sit on his lap and tell him their Christmas wishes and take pictures with him! What can I say? Everyone loves Santa Claus!

Used to work there....while working in the kitchen the Chefs, people who do food preparation DON'T wear face masks/face coverings about 80% of the time if you add the time and the workers are on the clock. However the food is AWESOME-SAUCE!!!

Had a bridal shower there last year and a few people were served raw chicken, and at a wedding 2 weeks ago a few of us were served steak that was RAW inside, also one of the managers was extremely rude and frustrated with us. Otherwise, the venue is lovely.

I made reservations and paid for 10 on easter holiday and was quoted the regular price twice when confirming over the phone, the group was embarresed to owe 80 dollars more when they were finished, "Steve Smith" claims i should have known they charge more for [Christian] holidays, that is their policy no matter what i was told over the phone by their staff. I say beware your sin will expose you, if ur crooked people will notice-and avoid you. I dont need fake prestige [they dont deserve] to enjoy a meal.

Hosted a corporate meeting and it was great. They were very accommodating. The breakfast and lunch provided was delicious. We could not have asked for anything more. Great location with plenty of parking. Ended the day next door at Tavolas for happy hour. Perfect day!

We went for mother's day buffet. Out family spent over $1000 plus for that dinner. The table service was horrible! It took over 45 min before anyone came to ask us what drinks we wanted. Of course we had made out way before that to get our own. The desserts were a mangled disgusting mess. No staff attending the table. Most of the staff at the buffet cutting meats couldn't understand English. The guy serving the mile long line for ice cream had a face full if hair and a head if it too, all uncovered as he's sticking his entire head into the cooler to get the ice cream. Very unsanitary. I was recommended to this place and feel like I was robbed of a $1000 si as you can imagine, our family won't be returning there.

We had our Home Depot annual holiday party here. Place was nice size. The staff, was another matter. There were many, who were there to help us, but we're so mean and rude. They acted like they were doing us a favor for being there. I asked for a drink and was informed that I needed to go to the restaurant bar because they weren't serving what I wanted. OK, restaurant Bartender was GREAT. Drinks were perfectly made and he was friendly.

This course is quite Poopy Doopy, sorry to use such foul language but I have to. The pin locations made me contemplate quitting golf they were so poor. One "member" there told me they give the locations from behind the green.

Enjoyed an evening at Springfield Country Club celebrating the 10th anniversary of the Spirit Newspaper. The elegance of the venue created a great atmosphere. The food was well-prepared and the staff was excellent. All in all a great event with Larry Kane as the main speaker, and Cherri Banks as the MC. Congratulations to Paul and Jeanne Bennett on the success of the Spirit Newspaper.

I attended a wedding at Springfield country club. It was Beautiful. The food was amazing. Staff was professional. I would definitely recommend this venue. There is a hotel next to the country club for those who don't want to drive, Or come from out of town.

Was there for an after funeral luncheon and couldn't be more impressed by their personnel and staff. Everyone was friendly and accommodating beyond description. Food was tasty but nothing more was expected. The facilities were immaculate which says a lot about the management and staff. This was not the first time I was here for a funeral luncheon and their standards haven't changed in 18 years.
