This place doesn't make church into just a ritual, and is open to everyone. The community here is active and open, and the pastor makes fantastic sermons. Everyone here will make you at home, it is a great place to become closer to God.

Guy was very rude I called to confirm time they were opening since I was five minutes early and didn't see anyone. First and last time just really in need. The lady giving the food was very nice though

We moved here from Illinois 7 months ago. We never thought we could find a church as amazing as the one we left. Spring Valley welcomed us with open arms. Love that the pastor's sermons are biblically based and that he is transparent with the congregation. The people who attend this church are wonderful. It didn't take long for us to know we had found a new "home".

I was brought here and then became a member December last year. I love them, they are family and have treated my son and I with all of gods love. These are the the most loving, accepting people I have ever met and not a day goes by that I don t feel greatful for them in my life. I have never been so blessed... I would do anything for any of them
Absolutely love this church! Pastor Steve always has a fresh take on the Scripture with real ways to put it into practice in your life. Everyone is friendly and warm and really love each other.
Such a great place. I was looking for a church for myself and my two kids. We found more than a church here, we found a family who genuinely cares about us and is dedicated to this community and most importantly to the word of God.

This is a wonderful faith community - unpretentious, welcoming and genuine. I found Pastor Steve and his wife Tammie to be warmly hospitable, and Steve is an engaging, relevant and serious preacher. At SVCC you will discover the Word of God faithfully presented and the spirit of Jesus consistently demonstrated.

I have loved and been a part of this church family for 12 years. I am not the kind of person who ever thought she would belong to a church, worship with others, or voluntarily be a member of any religious organization. This group of people have made my experience and relationship with God deeper than I could imagine.
Warm and welcoming, open to all who wish to worship God, and focused on the Word of God, this is how I would describe my church. Our Pastor is humble, honest, and speaks the message with a truth and grace that I appreciate more than anyone will know. Each Sunday's message has been inspiring, challenging, hopeful, thoughtful, and Truth. My daughter loves AWANA on Wednesday night while I go to the adult Bible study that is offered at the same time. The Bible Study leader is amazing. I have learned so much, more importantly I have also been able to apply the things I have learned there to my every day life. My son loves the many opportunities to volunteer and serve God. And my husband and I appreciate that people of all ages and stages of life have a place in this church, support of a church family, and opportunities to serve.
