Fantastic campground with full hook up and access to two restaurants and three bars within easy walking distance. Campground has pool, playground equipment and 18 hole golf course. Also close to boat ramp access for Mississippi River.
It is great to have the river right there and be able to see all of the things that PDC offers.
First timers review: 2nights. Gravel site. No grass. Was placed by Railroad track, trains throughout day&night. Picnic tables kinda rough. Bring covers. A Bathroom house needs better cleaned. laundry 1.50 to wash. Sewer on sites, above pipe, not flush to ground. Miniature golf not completed. Very nice employees. Visit the Cannery if youre a country home decor' owner.
I ve heard people say the trains are to loud, your literally right next to them, it the best campground ever, I don t care who you are and what you say, this is the best campground ever.
Has all the basics. Friendly office staff. They are great and eager to help. We were from out of state and were greatful for the help in the severe storm that hit. Looking forward to returning this year.
Campground is nice, especially the seasonal sites which are the majority. Didn't hear the constant trains from inside camper. Pool was excellent.
Rentals sites are small rocks littered with beer bottle tops. Not sure they clean in between rentals.
Great location. Walk across street for riverside happy hour. Not much of a menu but great view.
Very cool place to take the kids fo a weekend. We staying in a rental cabin. It was nice and cozy
Nasty bathroom showers area. We stayed a couple nights trash all over that area. Fire ring some use it as trash can. No one I guess cleans it up.
Great people, plenty of activities for kids and adults.
Slots too rocky, weak info from office, some electric stations don't work, loud trains.
My parents & their whole neighborhood has been using Sports Unlimited as their summer weekend home away from home for many years. They continue to upgrade & update so the grandkids love it as well. Only thing they are missing is doggie clean up stations for our furry friends.
They had no Information what so ever when we asked for brochure.
There isn t enough green space, and the sites are very close together. Make sure that you bring your ear plugs since the train tracks are across the street.
Incredibly disappointed in Sports Unlimited. I understand the amenities were closed due to Covid, however, the overall experience was poor. Crammed in with other sites with literally NO grassy areas and ALL gravel and rock. As you can imagine, our kids could not play or walk around at our site. Again, I understand the pandemic had an impact on some amenities, but they could at least keep the grounds clean. A little grass seed and mulch goes a long way. This website is so deceiving. My suggestion is that management spends more time grooming the campground rather than giving campers a false impression of how "wonderful" it is, as its all so misleading on the web page. Do not recommend.
If you are looking for a place to sleep while boating all weekend this place is for you. For anything else, don't waste the time. The park looks like it use to be nice but is now run down by greedy owners. The one thing I wouldn't have blamed them for is everything being closed including the pool and mini golf had they told us that before we made the trip. As for the park itself, they have people packed in so close to one another it makes the ponds inecessable and having a fire near impossible. The "leveled" sites were the most unlevel ground I've camped on and the whole area was nothing but jagged rock so my children couldn't even walk around. We were looking forward to camping here but left in complete disappointment.
