Cannot say enough amazing things about this place! Talk about a special bridal experience - everyone was warm, inviting, helpful, knowledgeable and honest. It was by far the best place we went to when looking at dresses (and we went to a lot of places!). Nicole, the director there, was incredible. She made our experience EVERYTHING AND MORE! She is not only a pro, but also gave us so much time and attention. We loved it here! So happy to have found my dress at Gabriella.

Similar review to the ones below. Terrible experience working with Ashley. I wouldn't recommend this place. Terrible customer service and lack of enthusiasm. They are only interested in making a sale.

We use the main door & walk into the building and a group of people told us that the elevators were getting stuck. No worries, we took the stairs. As we were walking down the hall, I see an employee looking at us but looked annoyed - didn t think much of it. We (my party of 3) arrived 10 minutes prior to my scheduled appointment. When we walked in there were two employees assisting a group with dresses. As we walked in, one of the employees looked at us, annoyed, and said nothing. Since neither employee greeted us or acknowledged our presence, we were kind of confused on what to do so we just poured ourselves some water and sat on the couch. Not once did anyone make eye contact with us or ask us any questions it was as if we were invisible to them. We calmly waited as I knew we still had some time before our appt would ve begun. As we were waiting we realized we were the only minorities there and not being helped. We sat quietly until our scheduled appointment time and still no one asked us if we needed help so we got up, told them that we were leaving due to their lack of unprofessionalism as we did not get even a smile every time they passed us.
Shortly after leaving, I received a phone call from the director. At first she apologized, but she focused mainly on how they didn t hear the buzzer ring (the main door was unlocked and anyone could enter from the street). She asked how did you get in without buzzing in?? . She was quite aggressive with her excuse about not hearing the buzzer that I actually had to say why are you arguing with me? I thought you called to apologize?? It doesn t matter if you didn t hear a buzzer ring. It s just common courtesy to greet a customer when they arrive. I don t care if your worker was with someone else, you don t treat someone like they re invisible. After we both concluded that I would not be returning, I asked for her name, she got silent. I asked again and she hung up on me. I ve never written a review, nor was I planning to...... but wow..... the director herself couldn t handle this situation properly. My group and I had never felt so uncomfortable. This was an extremely disappointing experience and I would not recommend this store.

We had a wonderful experience chosing my daughter'...

We had a wonderful experience chosing my daughter's gown for her upcoming wedding... However, the follow up including communication regarding fitting and eventually getting the dress to it's final destination were sorely lacking. Phone calls were repeatedly not returned and when finally the dress was sent out to her, it was not properly addressed. We felt that if we had not been vigilant, a very expensive and special dress could have been lost. However, in the end, all turned out just beautifully, just could have been a lot easier with better communication.....

I went to Gabriella July 13, 2018. I had multiple other appts in the city and this was by far the best salon. I had an amazing experience. Ashley was my consultant and she actually chose the first dress that I put on and it was the one that I ended up getting. She is very good. Knows exactly how to help you figure out what you want and what you look best in and she is excellent at pinning the gown so you can really get a good idea of what it is going to look like on you. Nicole is also amazing and very experienced! They both made the process so easy and really and truly helped me find "the one". It was so easy, laid back and fun! Every dress in the salon is gorgeous and there is something for everyone. I traveled to Gabriella Bridal from Louisiana and I would recommend traveling here to everyone I know. I went with a beautiful Elizabeth Fillmore dress and could not be happier. Gabriella is THE BEST. Hands down. If you are getting married you need to go here!!

Now to be fair, they gave her our money back on the dress. That certainly was the right thing to do. However, this is not the only bride we know who has had this experience. Beware...

I am so grateful I found Gabriella New York. After a grueling hunt for my perfect gown, I made an appointment and was so lucky to have Christiane work with me. She was so fun and made the whole experience painless and easy. The salon is gorgeous and intimate, there aren't a million appointments at the same time which I hated about other salons I went to. I found my dream dress and had such a good time trying others on. I can't recommend this bridal salon more, you will love everything about it! Thank you!!

The woman who helped me was very nice, however they really, really need to update their samples. I visited here and Kleinfeld (where I ultimately got my dress) when I was in NY and it just wasn't a great experience. I felt slightly rushed and every dress was stained or falling apart.

Alzira is the best of the best! I honestly didn t have the mental capacity by the time the fittings came around to deal with the logistics of one more thing, and I m so thankful that they both just seamlessly handled everything and were EXTREMELY flexible! Definitely go with Alzira! And Derek is so kind and gets an A+ from me on customer service.

Had a HORRIBLE experience with Gabriella & absolutely would not recommend them. They were not helpful or knowledgable at all as I was shopping for dresses, but once I actually bought one, it got even worse. They never returned my phone calls, the box they sent my dress in was TRASHED, they took forever to get my fittings booked and once I got my first appointment scheduled, I showed up to the tailor to find out that Derek had double booked me. Also, I signed a form that said my alterations would not cost more than $850 and they ended up charging $925 even though I just needed the (very simple) dress to be hemmed. I ve called multiple times to ask about this but haven t gotten a hold of the right person (they always say I have to talk to Derek who works like 3 hours a week). Super frustrating because I spent a lot of money with them and was really looking forward to the wedding dress experience, but they were incredibly disappointing & ruined it for me. You can find most of the dresses they carry in other NYC shops so its not worth looking here.

Can't speak highly enough about the salon and Carson was WONDERFUL. They are so knowledgeable and helpful. They listen but also ask you great questions to help guide you towards something that will meet your needs. It's also a lovely, fun, and modern space. Go here!

Working with Gabriella's was a dream. The space doesn't feel stuffy, and my crew loved seeing all of the brides walk by, I could hardly get them to leave.

I came in looking for a specific Lela Rose dress, which was discontinued. However, my consultant was amazing and lead me to an incredibly unique Jenny Packham masterpiece. I had never heard of Jenny Packham but once I saw the collection, I knew I was a Jenny Packham Bride. I guess everything happens for a reason!

As the appointment wrapped up, I was not ready to make a decision as we had another appointment at different salon that afternoon. I did not feel pressured to make a decision. When I left the other salon, I immediately called Gabriella's. The team was able to get me an appointment the next day to retry and officially buy my dress.

I also used Gabriella's for my bridal alterations. The team helped me find the best way to spend my money, and even suggested a specific heel height so I didn't need to shorten the length. The 3 appointments were incredibly painless - I was always seen early and out in under 20 minutes! Plus, who doesn't love an excuse for lunch in SoHo after?

I liked the vibe in Gabriella and my consultant was really knowledgeable. Unfortunately, I felt very rushed and uncomfortable making a decision during my appointment. My family also got chided for touching the gowns on the rack! Decent designer variety, but not for me.

My experience at Gabriella Bridal was great from start to finish. Everyone there is so kind and helpful, and they made finding the perfect wedding dress feel easy and stress free. I made a request to have my dress altered as it was being made and they were very accommodating and listened to exactly what I wanted to change; the end result was perfect! Their seamstress is one of the best! I completely trusted her judgment, and she listened to all of my adjustments in addition to giving me her input. I felt completely comfortable throughout the whole process. Thank you Gabriella Bridal!

I can not reccommend this place enough! It was the best bridal experience I have had thus far. The selection of dresses were just outstanding. Every single person I talked with was so nice to me and my family. My consultant Mckayla picked out my dream dress right from the start! She was the only consultant from any place that actaully listened to what I wanted. She made myself and my family very comfortable. It was also nice that we were able to look around ourselves compared to other boutiques where only consultants can pull for you. Nicole the director was also very attentive and made sure the entire experience was great. I wish I could go back more often because it is such a cute place and I had so much fun. Definitenly coming back for my accessories here and can not wait until my first fitting with them. Thank you Mckayla and the entire Gabriella team, I am forever thankful!

So extremely disappointed with the lack of expertise and enthusiasm to help me find my special dress by Ashley, the stylist appointed to me. Walking in I felt excited and was warmly welcomed. Then after telling Ashley the stylist I wanted to stay at the lower price point, her attitude changed. She acted bored and unenthusiastic to help me make a purchase. It definitely felt like a Pretty Woman moment where I felt judged and she judged me completely wrong. I can afford the dresses but please don t make assumptions because I want to be frugal. The other stylist seemed great and probably would have sold me a dress. I would not recommend this place.

Nicole Sacco, the Gabriella NY team and designer Lela Rose are all shining examples of what happens when businesses put people before profits. From the moment we arrived at Gabriella NYC my mother, sister and I received a warm welcome. Kailey Murray and Nicole Sacco and and the rest of the GNY staff were professional, attentive, personable and just a delight to work with. Choosing my dress was not difficult when armed with their help and expertise. Our wedding date was 6 months away so we knew there would not be a problem getting the dress in time. About a month after I made the purchase we found out that my future mother-in-law's cancer was terminal and that she had only a few months left. My fiance and I decided to move our wedding date up 3 months in order for his ailing mother to attend. I emailed Nicole and recounted our situation and asked if there was anything I could do to expedite the dress. Nicole called Lela Rose and they both worked together to get my dress to me in just 2.5 months waiving the rush charge. We will be forever grateful to Nicole, the GNY staff and Lela Rose.

Did not even make it to the booking an appointment stage. I had emailed to set up an appointment, as per their instructions via instagram, and was met with such condescension I decided it s not even worth it.

There are plenty of other boutiques that treat customers with more respect and are far more helpful.

Alterations messed up the the buildup on my bridal gown. It did not lay flat at all and puckered in multiple places. A seamstress at my destination locale had to fix it last minute. I was charged $1400.

Working with Samantha was the highest level of service I could've ask for! She went above and beyond to find just what I was looking for and I cannot say enough good things about her!! This place is lovely and has beautiful designers that are rare to find anywhere else. I highly reccomend going here to find the dress of your dreams and ask for Samantha!!

I wish I had read some of the reviews earlier. I have the same advice. Do not get your dress altered from here. Actually don t even buy your dress from here. I understand they re running a business but once you ve committed to buying a dress and paid for it, the after service is terrible. They re too busy sucking up to the next client. I had two dresses altered here and they charged a fortune for it and stuffed up multiple times and every time they messed up, instead of owning up to it Gabriella would say at the end of the day, the dresses will be perfect so don t worry. They need to either stop providing tailoring services or have the tailors communicate with each other better. I had to recommend they take photos the second time around. If you re unable to provide a service properly and professionally then don t provide it. Know your limits and advise your clients to go elsewhere.

A year and a half after my daughter's wedding...life has finally slowed down and I'm enjoying the wedding photos. I'm also taking the time to write this review - because others need to be cautioned...DO NOT LET THEM ALTER YOUR GOWN...we were doing alterations up until the day before we were due to fly out to my daughter's destination wedding site. Although we expressed our concerns that the very delicate silk fabric of the gown was not lying properly we were told that it only needed to 'steamed'. That was not the case - fortunately the bride was beautiful so no one but her and I noticed - but when looking at the pictures you can really see it! What's worse, is that they charged my credit card $1,200 for these alterations - and when we complained - (for months back and forth) there was no resolution or for that matter, even acceptance of responsibility. The same gown was in Saks - we should have gone there.

Beyond disappointed and upset with my experience here. In a nutshell they are only nice to you while you are shopping, once they get your money they don't care at all about following up or actually delivering your dress on time even when you pay extra rush fees. They take no responsibility and honestly ruined my entire dress experience. They bullied me into buying the dress when I asked for time to sleep on it because I was unsure but instead they said that the discounted rushed offer stood only if I purchased the dress that evening on the phone. Who does that to someone?! I was out to dinner and the girl called me 3 times. When I went back into the shop I saw the dress I purchased had been moved to the sale rack so they bullied me into buying something that was going on sale a couple days later. When I said something to them they just ignored me and indirectly did not answer my question and gave me some BS answer. I paid a fortune and the service that I received was horrendous. When I finally received my dress (over a month late) the box it was sent in was destroyed and they took no accountability. This place is horrible and I do not recommend it to anyone.

I am absolutely blown away by Gabriella New York! I am not one to make an on the spot decision, I typically need to mull it over so not only did I purchase a stunning Kelly Faetanini gown, but my mother and I had beyond an amazing experience! First and foremost, the minute you walk through the door everyone is incredibly helpful, loving, and supportive. Ashley was my fantastic bridal consultant. I had my heart set on one dress and walked out with a completely different one because she brought one over for me that she thought would look great and it was absolutely stunning and blew me away! She was incredible! The bridal manager was walking around and also loved the dress and was so helpful and friendly. Then Nicole the store Director came over and it felt like she was a part of my Italian Family! She took my measurements and was just beyond lovely! I literally felt like she was my favorite Aunt from Jersey. I am not one to write reviews often, but when I do it is because I want other people to know how amazing something is, and Gabriella New York is that some kind of wonderful and I encourage all Brides to find your perfect gown with them. I ve tried on so many gowns at so many other places and this by far was the most seamless and non stress filled appointment I have made. I cannot wait for my dress to come in and continuing to work with these incredible women in my bride to be journey.
