North Carolina is a truth in advertisement state. They insulted my intelligence. The flyers they and are nothing but lies the they wanted to price my car at fair while they wanted to sell their car to me for very good condition. Refused to put in all my options so they could reduce the value of my car. My mother has stage 2 breast cancer and the chemotherapy has been rough. The cars on their website are always wrong. There was only one salesman that was nice and upfront but the upper management sucks! I wish I couldn't have to even give a star at all. I asked the GM email and they refused to give it to me claiming they didn't know it!

I have been living in Durham NC for about a year now and was having a hard time finding the perfect car for myself until I had the pleasure of meeting an employee named Nicole McCray. This lady has exceeded my expectations and went above and beyond until I got the right car. Thanks a lot for the extra compassion and caring you put into making this process as smooth and easy as possible. Thanks again Nicole....

They say any credit approval on the radio & that's not entirely true. They wouldn't allow us to lease a car because we already have one. We can afford it. Just not entirely cash for another reliable good condition car.

We recently purchased a new CX3 from Romnel at Sport Durst. Romnel provided us with an exceptional client experience. We were impressed with his knowledge of the car, down to the very small details of the power train, warranty, safety features, trim package, etc. We came just for a test drive, and left with a new, fully loaded car. Thank you, Romnel and Sport Durst!

Excellent customer service. I recently bought a car and the car they put me in was a little to small for me and the kids. I called a couple of days later and they told me I can swap it out no hassle. Put me in something better than expected and I love it. They are so nice and courteous.

I filed a claim through Progressive because I had an unfortunate run-in with a deer that caused my front bumper to crack and my headlight too. I spoke to Natalie and dropped off my car with her. She was SO SO incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. Explained to me about their process and gave me a time frame to expect the work to be completed. I was so happy to have a person explain to me the process without speaking down to me. She knew exactly the things they were gonna look for and all that good stuff. I got my car back today and it looks amazing. Better than when I drove it off the lot three years ago. Not to mention they sanitized it before I got it back, washed it off, and vacuumed out the floorboards. I highly recommend!!!!

I took my Jeep in to check the ETC light. I already knew that meant throttle issues. When the tech ran diagnostics on my vehicle, all he could tell me was the box needed replacing. He could not tell me anything about what specifically was the issue with the box...broken gear teeth, sticking or anything. I had priced the box already from another and learned it would cost $320. Sport Durst charged over $410. Sport Durst labor is $140 per hour. The total quote was almost $900. The vendor who gave me the initial price quoted $670--- job done. What a RIP off.

Wanted to test drive a specific Chrysler 300 and when I got there they thought it was on the lot. After calling around found that the owner loaned it to a family member to drive. It was a spur of the moment visit and he could have sold me a car if they had it there but then I left and invested in fixing my car up and saving some major bucks. That's why I gave them 3 stars....for saving me some money. Had a bad experience with their service dept on my dads car and warranty service a few years back so two strikes and you are out with me.

Don't let them lie to you! First off super pushy like 4 or 5 calls back to back and constant emails. When I finally responded to Ashlee she confirmed that they are over pricing their palisades! A big no no according to hyundai- msrp is it on these cars stop trying to take advantage of customers! And they are flat out lying to people. Her reasoning for the mark up was because they have the only palisade within 100 mile radius but that is a LIE there are 2 dealerships within 10-20 miles that have this same car too. I suggest everyone go to Southern States in Raleigh and talk with Keia, Dave or Jeremy. At least they are honest!!

I'd give them more stars if I could and here's why:
First I contacted Porsha and requested some photos of a newly arrived vehicle, she got back to me promptly with an email that was followed up with a text message containing the photos I requested. The pictures were taken by one of the sales professionals, Mr. Norris Fletcher, who is obviously not a photographer (but we'll get back to that later.) My son and I (the vehicle was to be for him) decided to check out the car anyway......
When we got there we met both Porsha and Norris, and I'm glad we did. Both were extremely friendly and professional. Norris took us to see the car, which had just come out of detail and was 'somewhere on the lot'. After taking a walking tour of the Sport Durst compound, we found it and it was everything the pictures weren't, it was perfect! After some quick negotiations and friendly banter (about Norris' photography skills) we had ourselves a deal, and a great one! To make the experience even better, there were a couple issues that we asked Norris to take care of and, not only did he take the time to get them fixed but he did it with a smile and a handshake. I couldn't have asked for a better buying experience than this. Sports Durst and their team has my business from now on, and Norris will be the one I deal with, Great job my friend and thank you for making my son's first buying experience a really great one, Regards, Jim.

(Mr. Put em In A Car). He provided splendid customer service. Extremely, kind and very patience! If I could rate more than 5 stars based off the customer service he provided, I would most definitely would. If your in the area and you need a car, I most certainly recommend Ashton.

This is the only place that I take my car for service and oil changes. I had a small oil leak after getting my car jacked up by roadside assistance. As it turned out, he hit the oil filter which is what caused the leak. I was nervous about being ripped off with charges for bogus repairs. Not at Sport Durst!! It was a simple fix and they sent me on my way in less than an hour.

My review is for the service department. There was a miscommunication on the time it was going to take for service but non the less it was handled at the time. Chris Earhart was my servicer and he did a great job at looking at the other services my vehicle needed and also compensated for the miscommunication. I would ABSOLUTELY recommend them.

No communication at all. A simple 2-3 hour service appointment at 8:30 am resulted in them keeping my car for two days with no communication; you can't get someone on the phone to save your life. I have memorized their hold music. Voice-mails aren't set up. Staff don't answer pages. I feel terrible for the very nice reception/operator staff who just sincerely apologize over and over again but ultimately can't connect you. By the way, the car in question is under full warranty.

Update: Bumping to three stars because I got someone on the phone after hours of attempts and they are providing a loaner.

I had a horrible experience! Do not believe the ladies that call you and tell you that the are sure they can work the deal! They get paid for every person they can get to schedule and keep apts. I called three times before driving over an hour to dealership and told them that I just didn t want to waste my time that I was upside down on my vehicle. They assured me the deal could be done only to get to the dealership and be told that I can needed 5,000!down !!!t if I have 5,000 to pay down I would have went to the dealership 5 minutes from my home! Total disregard TGIF the time that I wasted! I will NEVER go back!

SportDurst fulfills every negative stereotype I have ever had about purchasing a car. Sales department was overly pushy throughout, and once papers were signed for the car, any sense of customer service disappeared entirely. When I told GM that customer service was poor, even he was rude and defensive! Will never go back.

I have had multiple experiences with Sport Durst Service which have been below average. For my mazda, they left a mark on the dash board that is still present 3 years later. My hyundai is making a loud knocking noise with every acceleration and they have been unable to identify the problem. The most un-professional part is that they did not call me in a timely fashion to provide me an update, and the person spoke down to me as though it was a minor problem. Will not bring my vehicle back to this dealership.

My experience with Sports Durst has been subpar since i purchased my vehicle from them. The internet sales manager was no help at all. When arriving at the dealership i was greeted by a salesman who received my name from the ISM. The salesman had no clue what i was talking about. he deal wasn't worked. He was told to just show me truck. Which wasn't the trim level i inquired about. We toughed through the sale and he turned out to be OK. There was a younger guy in the F&I office who could use extensive people relations training. Once documentation was completed i was asked if i wanted my new vehicle washed. I was very surprised because i thought that was part of the buying process. Had i known it was going to take 2.5 additional hours and wasn't going to be fully cleaned when leaving the dealership i would have said no when i was asked. Weeks later i called to inquire about some upgrades and labor cost and i yet again received subpar assistance. The lady in the service department was sighing as though i was bothering her by calling. I will not be patronizing Sports Durst for anything ever. Ill have my vehicle serviced by a different dealership.

My daughter had a recall on the cruise control of ...

My daughter had a recall on the cruise control of her 2014 Charger. She made an appointment to have that repaired, as well as to get an oil change. She took the car to Sport Durst and after a while, the service tech came out and told her that the oil pan plug was damaged, and he would have to "go home and get a special tool" to remove it. He then told her that it would cost $800 to repair the damaged plug, replace the oil pan and then change the oil. She said "No thank you, I will have to think about it." As she left the dealership , the Traction Control and ABS lights immediately came on, and a warning chime went off. She called me, and I told her to take it right back and to tell them the lights have never been on before she gave the car to the service tech. He looked at the car again and told her the right-rear speed sensor was dead. He could replace it for $300. Again, she told him "no."

I work at a car dealership, and so I asked two mechanics there to look at her car. Between them, they have over 50 years of work experience. Both told me that they have NEVER told a customer that they would have to "go home and get a special tool." Looking at the oil pan, both said that they could get the plug off in five minutes or less to change the oil. No special tools needed. They said they could remove the damaged plug, change the oil and put a new plug on in 30 minutes. At $120 an hour (standard rate), that would be $60 for labor. A new plug costs $9. That is $69 total, and the tech tried to get my daughter to pay $800. The speed sensor costs $22, and my guys said it could easily be installed in 30 minutes or less. Again, that is 30 minutes of labor for a total of $60 plus $22. That comes to $82, and my daughter was told that it would cost her $300. Her total cost should have been $161, but my daughter was told $1,100. This doesn't even begin to broach the issue of her never having a problem with the speed sensor. However, when the tech gave her the car back, the lights instantly came on, signifying that problem. It must have been a coincidence. Yeah. Right.

So be forewarned: If any of you have a daughter, wife or girlfriend, DO NOT send them to have a car serviced at Sport Durst in Durham, NC. My daughter didn't pay Sport Durst a dime. You may not be so lucky.

The actual service of my car has been good, but they need more assistance when managing cars and contacting customers in the service department of the Chrysler building. The 1st time, my car got lost in the shuffle and I had to find a ride to the dealership at 7pm because no one could give me a straight answer about my car. They gave me a discount which I had to pay via phone. They left my car in the parking lot with the key in the wheel well. smh
I dropped my car off for service this past week, this last time and still had to call multiple times throughout the day to check on the status of my car. Each time, I got shuffled around to numerous voicemails. This last particular time, I learned John was my contact person. Matthew was my shuttle driver, we was very helpful and patient. He called me in timely fashion. We had made arrangements for him to pick me up at 4pm. When Matthew picked me up, I explained to him I had called several times without any response or knowing if my car was ready. Matthew called and was able to reach John. John told me he had called me and left a voicemail. I told John, I did not receive a phone call or voicemail. I told him it must have been the wrong number because my voice mail has been full for two weeks and I'm not able to receive and voicemails. He still stood firm and argued with me about leaving me a voicemail. I even suggested it may have been the wrong number, he read my number out and still declared he left a voicemail, knowing he was lying to me to get me off the phone. John told me my car needed parts ordered, that fine, but what I don't appreciate is being "handled". I arrived to pick up my car and John did apologize, but he was speaking very fast and never made direct eye contact. I can imagine all the people that come in everyday, but maybe they need more associates to help with the influx of customers. Situations like these much like previous customers have mentioned, could be avoided.

Two weeks ago I stopped in at Sport Durst. David Stinson came out to greet me. David and I walked around looking at their vehicles as if we knew each other for years. I had the most laid back, no pressure conversation about all types of vehicles. After telling David about my old 87 AMC Wrangler he showed me their line of Jeeps. They had an 2018 Jeep 4 door Wrangler with around 2000 miles that was a loaner. That was a beautiful piece of machinery. Sport Durst offered me what I believe was a nice discount on a vehicle that had never been titled. During our conversations David realized that this vehicle was a hard top and that I preferred a soft top. Unknown to me he and his manager had a 2019 Jeep Wrangler Sport Unlimited brought around. This vehicle has a fantastic blue paint with shades of purple and metal flake when the light strikes it. On top of that it had a tan soft top. I happened to walk outside and see this vehicle pull up. I stopped what I was doing and walked over to take a look. David came out and walked up behind me and I said now this is nice. David said I told my manager what you had said about the soft top and he said have him take a look at this. Not only did it have everything on my wish list and more, they we able to match their original offer and seamlessly got me out the door the same day with a extremely low down payment. Sport Durst didn't make me feel like a customer, I felt like family. On top of that, David has been there ever after the sale telling me if ever I needed anything to contact him and he will make any arrangements, appointments etc. that I need. Hats off to Sport Durst and my experience.

Typical "I can help you with any situation" car dealership. I had high hopes going there.... but quickly diminished. I didn't even get completely out of the car before a salesman approached me. I had been talking back and forth with the internet sales department and even had an appointment to look at a few cars... was told I was upgraded to a "VIP" experience , which I knew was a sales tactic but still sounded promising. Nothing about this experience was "VIP". I was very upfront with my situation, the fact that buying a car was an unexpected necessity and not just because. I even told them before I got there that I wasn't putting much if anything down. Once that all too eager salesman realized that, he made one attempt to "work something out" and then presented me with a $575 Payment on a small compact car!!!!! I'm not sure what about anything I said made him think that I could or even wanted to make a payment that high. I was made to feel like I wasn't worth doing business with because I didn't have an 820 credit score or $3000.00 to put as a down payment. Even after all of that, Sport Durst representatives have continued to email me, continuously... several different people, one of which having a " general manager" title. I have replied to several emails and even called .... since they are so eager to receive my feedback.... however I have not received a response, not even one!!!! Please don't waste your time here......

Made an appointment to have jeep in for clock spring replacement under warranty service. They kept the car all day then at the end of the day called to tell me they don t have the parts in stock. Two days later called and told me the part was in bring the car back. Dropped it off in the evening for next day repair. Next evening get a call stating wrong part was in the box so no repair but a new one should be available in two days. Decided to leave my car there because it was easier than getting a ride back during business hours. Four more days go by no call no answering my calls. I go pick up my jeep because I m tired of waiting for nothing. Get my Jeep and notice the trailer hitch ball is missing. No one cared. No loaner car ever offered. No regard for customer service. They have lost my business.

Hate. Would give it a zero if I could. Do not buy a used car here. They said the car had never been in an accident but, since I had to take it to a mechanic a week after I brought it home because they did not change the oil on time, I asked the mechanic here to check it over. Mechanic said the car has dents on the top where a garage door had come down on it and that the windshield has been replaced. He said that there was no way the mechanics at Durst had not seen this and that the condition of the car was not as promised. I paid for a certified programmed vehicle and I got a vehicle that should not have passed the most cursory of inspections.

Trey Reeves and his entire team at Sport Durst are exceptional. They worked hard to help us buy a new truck by phone, email, FaceTime and FedEx so we would have our truck when we moved back to North Carolina! We have a large family and needed a special configuration. Trey was so helpful and attentive, exploring multiple vehicles for us before helping us order a custom truck so we could get the exact features we wanted. The service team was generous in finding a vehicle we could drive while ours was on order. Ultimately, our truck arrived in record time and has exceeded all of our expectations. Trey even stayed involved to help us further customize our truck, going far beyond the call of duty. We are so grateful to the Sport Durst team and will be loyal customers for life.

Every time I come you wait for 2.5 hours at the LEAST. What is most annoying is that any service that is considered express you can t make an appointment for. If they didn t spend so much time searching for another service to charge you for, then maybe they you could get out sooner. 2 hours for a state inspection. 2.5 hours for an oil change

My husband and I went to test drive a Mazda CX-5 i...

My husband and I went to test drive a Mazda CX-5 in early December of 2017. We found a used one on the lot that we liked and went back a week later to discuss making a deal. Thankfully, we had done our research and knew that there were comparable cars in the area a few thousand dollars below their price range. After some haggling, we found a price everyone agreed on, but were told we would need to wait until after the 1st of the year so that they could mark down the car. The dealership asked us to put a deposit down so that they wouldn't sell it to anybody else. I called and left my card information with our salesman Mike, but they never charged the deposit.

We made an appointment for the first week of January to go in and pick up the car and were called and told the sales manager who made the deal with us was out of town. We rescheduled for the next week and went in and our salesman told us that they still hadn't marked down the price and we would need to come back the next week. We were called on Monday saying everything was good to go and they were ready to sell us the car so we made an appointment for Thursday. They called us Thursday and told us we'd have to reschedule for Friday (today) because of the weather. Our salesman called me this afternoon to double check I was still coming in this evening and told me he had the car filled with gas and cleaned and ready for us to come pick up. An hour before our appointment he called me back and told me we couldn't come today and would have to wait until Monday because our sales manager was out of the office again.

I asked to speak to a manager and was told "well, we aren't actually able to meet the price we agreed to originally, so you'll need to wait to Monday if you want to speak to the sales guy again". I told him we would buy a car somewhere else.

I am 6 months pregnant. These guys are the absolute worst.
