The crowd is a little rough and staff does its best to make the average person feel home. The games are in bad shape and seem like half are broken. As for winning eh probably not.

We went during the day and even then the parking lot was scary. Lots of people just hanging around in their vehicles and watching. We won't be back.

They need lockers for guests coming in from distances without a transportation vehicles, otherwise they tell you to leave.

Pre-dinner, delicious frozen margarita in lounge. Queen Prime Rib meal one of the best deals in town, 12.99, choice of starch, green beans, all trimmings for baked potato, chives, bacon, sour cream, aju sauce, both creamed & raw horseradish available. Queen prime rib could feed two, King prime rib definitely feeds two. It made 3-meals for me. Nice, casual dining experience with slightly dimmed lights. Very competent server oversees this room almost single handedly. Other meals on this menu for 12.99 include pork chops, fried fish, steak and enchiladas. Have yet to try steak and enchiladas, all other meals a solid thumbs up.

Ever TIME I go I never win and when I do the slot reboot or somthing happened wrong but I go for the fun. I do have alot of fun there

It's a casino I thought it was way bigger not that great I tried it I didnt like it simple as that probably wont go back there was small but people like it I guess there where a lot of older people there

The casino is crowded with shady people. The whole place smells strange and gross. Went in the bathroom and the cleaning lady was holding used syringes that she pulled out of one of the stalls. To be fair it is on the fairgrounds right off of Central so one can expect this type of atmosphere. If you're from out of town I would recommend taking the drive to one of the ones just outside town, stay at one of the hotel- casinos. They're really nice

The Crown restaurant was fantastic. Great service and food. Most enjoyable.

The ventilation is awful. Air conditioner blows directly in you in some spots. Was freezing cold. Lot's of people trying to bum cigarettes. Can't pick and choose how many lines you want to play on many machines. Restrooms are clean.

I have not been to the racetrack yet. The casino area is fun lots of good slot machines but it is tough to hit a big jackpot!

to get the birthday perks you have to gamble there for 6 mons.! Is what I was told last night by the girl at the players club ! Really? I received $60 for just walking in the door at Casino Hollywood from spinning the wheel and a $10 birthday comp! I live only a few blocks away from the downs but hey! The staff might be and is ok but the management ? Not so sure! Off to anywhere but there!

The casino is the arbitrary 0 on the scale from 1-10, the worst i have ever been in. The machines are set to steal!!!! They turn them on every once in a while, outside of those times, it is nearly imposible to break even, winning here is a pipe dream!

They are stealing from the residents in the poorest area of town, from the folks who can least afford it! If the city and state were not getting their cut, the place would be closed as a public nuisance!

There are just too many people there doing things other than gambling. I have been approached from people selling anything from cigarettes to jewelry and gift cards to drugs. Keep the loiterers out.

It not good, never win any money there like the other casinos in town it's just take your money waste of time.

If you have money to lose, this is the place to go. The machines are very tight. Must spend money to access the free play they "give" you. Small and crowded, music blaring from the bar. Bathrooms are iffy, especially the women's bathroom. I've seen people washing their hair, clothes or putting on makeup in there taking up 2 sinks!! Loser casino.

Saturday Flea Mart, crowded and tough to negotiate. Some bargains if you persevere.

I visit The Downs Cafe and get their Albuquerque Turkey sandwich that is the best in town - and their fries that come with it are super good!

I was going here when it was just up stairs and small. They have really stepped it up! So many machines bigger parking spaces only thing is the ciggertte smoke. But iv been to smaller casinos so thats not to big of a deal here.

This slots warehouse is limited, if you like horse racing action, this is the place for you. As far as gaming variety it is pretty much a slots warehouse, of course there is a bar, buffet, and restaurant. Warehouse is my definition of the Casino.

Put ten dollars in the machine and hit a 10 cent win once. Very stupid place

Worst Casino Not save, security guard are not doing there jobs,The tall manager said just by helping me he was jumping Thur hoops and did nothing I got 230 stolen from me and he said was my fault the have they have Crack head there trying to snach any thing your not protecting ....NEVER COME HERE !!!!!

Bartenders at first turn lounge need to learn how to bartend. At least I was recognized as waiting but then passed by. I left. I won't go back - far too many choices to suffer lousy service at this place.

They have a ventilation system that works wonders only downer is the fragrance is too much and its suffocating.

Had this casino been in a better area of town, I would have definitely given it 5 stars. There are just a lot of very shady customers here. Hoping I don't come off sounding snobbish.

The game variety is great and the machines actually pay out decently.

Great karaoke, really good food. Nice, friendly staff.
