Spookers Review

What an experience! I thought I wasn't going to be scared, but wow, the actors are so realistic they made me run away screaming. Definitely worth a visit. My favourite was the haunted house. Get there early if you want to avoid ques.

Been here 4 times. Today was the first day tour and it's was awesome. The effort the staff put in is above and beyond. To be in character over and over again must be demanding. Hope they are getting looked after well. Def visit this place , put your fears aside enjoy your time .

Spookers was such a disappointing experience for my sons 15th birthday despite being told they would enjoy the tour during the day. They were not allowed to the night time as not old enough but the 2 ladies I spoke to over the phone told me they will still get some scare factor and that there would be a few actors for them and that 15 old boys would enjoy it still. They just had a tour guide who couldn't be bothered. We had driven 2 hours to get there and felt totally ripped off no body was on the desk afterwards to even get a refund. My son and his friends were really disappointed not how we wanted to spend my sons birthday.

Not as scary as what I remember. Perhaps they were short staffed.

Amazing!!! The actors/actresses!! The make up!! The art work!! The props!! The scares!! The whole thing is just amazing!!!

The Hounted Forest was awesome. I think I've spelt it wrong but you know what I'm talking about.

CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS GREAT BESIDES THE PICTURE AREA.. THEY WERE A BIT CROWDED && THE LADY BEHIND THE COUNTER LOOKED FRUSTRATED && CAME OFF RUDE.. ALL THE ACTORS, ZOMBIES && MONSTERS DID A GOOD JOB BESIDES THE RUDE GIRL FROM THE HAUNTED HOUSE IN THE NURSERY. SHE JUST SAT THERE LOOKING REAL LIFE MISERABLE AND EVEN HAD SLICK COMMENTS TO THE CUSTOMERS WALKING BY. DAISY && HER FATHER/HUSBAND WERE THE BEST FROM THE FOREST.

Absolutely love spookers. I'd recommend this place to any who loves anything spooky. 10/10.

Ahh Spookers. I Was An Inmate at Kingseat Mental Hospital Early December 1994. I Ascended to Heaven Here. Satan was involved in murdering me. Spent 20 years Above, My Soul Time Traveled Back To Just After I Died So The Nurses Didn't Know I Died. I Was A Witness To Creation Herself. Fun Times Time Spirit Travel. Thank You Grandfather Lord. Never Been Inside Spookers lolz it's just Holy Ground For Moi.

Great place for a good fright and a little cry. Haha

Nice experience with friends. Worth going at least once. Had never experienced any thing like before. Gets a bit scary when they run after you yelling at you. But they are all well behaved.

Spookers was a let down this time. I've been several times over the past ten years and used to love it. There weren't many actors on the night that my friend and I went and we felt very rushed when we were going through the house despite the fact that there weren't a lot of customers. Three stars because it was free admission that night.

They have three attractions to go to. The Haunted forest, Disturbia and the haunted house. We started with the forest and it requires a flashlight (a phone light isn't good enough but you can buy one at the counter for $10). The atmosphere was quite spooky and you could hear sporadic screaming. The path was quite good and fairly easy to navigate even with only 1 torch. Keep your eyes open cause they always pop out of nowhere.
We went to the house afterwards since the entrance was by the exit of the haunted house. Nice props but most of them were the same as before although the people were different and where they popped up were also different so there were a few jumps there.
The last one was disturbia. The entry is across the hall from the entrance. you wear 3D glasses and the paintings all pop out at you. It was quite an interesting experience walking through wall paintings that seem to pop out, as well as a few people every now and then. i thought that the paintings were really good and spent a while mesmerised at them. There are a few flashing lights which may be problematic for epileptics. I thought the end bit of this was the best! We also were able to go into a dark container filled with air bags at the end of this.
The info they gave at the attractions were similar but they had quite good variations so it kept you interested. There were also a few friendly zombies/ghosts roaming around that were friendly enough to chat to.
Been here a few time and it is always better/more entertaining to go with people who get a bit scared (but not too much or it has the opposite effect).

Awesome place to visit if you enjoy being frightened and swearing like a trooper

Awesome night out if you're wanting to do something a little different to a movie night. Good as for big and small groups. Staff are super friendly when they aren't trying to jump out at you.

Always go in small groups to get the maximum thrill

We went to the Easter labyrinth, the truth, it is a recommendable experience, they are very kind, right now the corn was dry, I imagine that it must be very impressive when it is all green, it is very broad.

Very good entertainment for your Friday night, would recommend.

That was so much fun! I'm sure the experience is best with an entertaining group of friends, but it stands on its own merits as well. Cornevil Maze was the most fun, the Haunted House was everything you'd expect and more. Definitely coming back!

Love it I've been there 6 times and I'm going there tonight for Friday the 13th

Going to spookers as part of a work function was an amazing idea, it's a great place for us to unwind after stressful months at work; getting the package that provided us with access to all 3 major attractions along with the buffet dinner was really nice.

The buffet dinner, a personal highlight had amazing food and one of the best buffets I have ever had.

The attractions themselves were extremely authentic with the ex-asylum building it resides in. The corn maze was a personal highlight as it was the scariest, even though I am highly tolerant to scares I still enjoyed my time there with my friends and I would recommend this place to others.

Took my girl and her friends for her 8th bday she absolutely loved it the two staff on Brenny n nala were fantastic. Shes asking to come back already...

Fun, actors played their roles well and convincingly. Good atmosphere and some good jump scares.

Had a great time ! Staff were friendly and often frightening. The best attraction for me personally was the haunted house, closely followed by the woods. I would reccomend that the fog has an update. But it's the perfect place to hang out with your mates !

Wicked place to com in a group or just a couple of you. NOT for the feint hearted at all but it's perfectly safe.
Complete with a restaurant/bar and cafe I believe and a souvenir store. Fun, scary and always changing and adapting! No two visits are the same.

As a middle aged father of teenagers and infants who believes he has a sensible and practical outlook on reality, I was thoroughly entertained and frightened by this amazing spectacle. I chaperoned my teenage daughter and her male friend with a stern outlook on what to look for. From walking through the doors I became excited. by the end my teenage girls male friend and I were huddled together protecting each other from the frights that made me cry and laugh out loud. I was a young frightened boy again and loved it. Well done Spookers your set up and team have done an amazing job to thrill and entertain.

The most coolest experience. I had so much fun. Were at spookers for a xmas function. Will definitely be back with my eldest child.

Absolutely fantastic, hilarious and totally frightening, movie quality make up and sets, loved every minute of it!!

I've been here three times over the past three years. My favourite will always be the Haunted House, the classic spOokers attraction, it's the only one I've fallen over in. Disturbia is decent, I loved the corn maize, kinda similar to the forest one though, so I would recommend an inside and outside one for the best value, and range of experience. Heads up - bring a torch, or you ha e to buy one for the outside courses, compulsory for entry. (Not your phone torch, no video or photos allowed inside the attractions). Cafe actually had decent food, and fun memorabilia and joke gifts (they DO sell adult diapers, so that's fun). Service at the cafe was very slow, but only one person was manning it when ever I was there. $40 for two attractions.

Super scary! Would have been better if there were more spookers working tho.

The lines are an hour each per attraction, even when you get here right at the opening time. The management could do a better job by selling tickets per time slot instead of making it a free for all. The scares are quite decent and I applaud the actors and actresses for keeping it original throughout a long night. The long lines just detract from the experience in a major way for me.

Very cool day tour. Did the R8 tour with my 11 year old daughter. Super fun indeed
