Must say I thought this would be a nice family getaway but I was wrong. The rooms are very outdated, the shower water had no pressure, beds were uncomfortable, food around the resort was just ok, water park was fun for the kids but very small. We were scheduled to stay for 3 nights but only did 2 can be sure we won't be returning. Even the guy who tried to sell us a timeshare said the owner won't put any money into fixing the place up so this is what you get... trust me you dont want to waste your time here

The split rock is the sister resort to Mt Laurel resort, and is the better one. While they have many amenities and activities, they are very battered and worn. The mini golf is area is in tatyers, the game room game screens are dim, and the pool tables are uneven and disrepair. While I had fun, it could have been much better. Lastly this resort has a very big gnat problem, clouds of them are all over the outdoor activity sites.

I stayed at Split Rock Resort for SaikouCon, and it far exceeded my expectations. The location was great and the room was very comfortable. The layout of the resort was a bit confusing at first, but not too difficult to navigate. Overall, I am very pleased with my stay, and I will be staying there again next year if I am able to attend.

Beautiful place. I loved the atmosphere. The room was beautiful and spacious. Suites come with a Jacuzzi tub, dishwasher, utensils, cooking utensils, fridge, microwave, over, etc. Only complaint I have are the resort is spread out. We had to drive a little distance from our hotel building to the main building where all activities are located. And our room smelled of gas the entire time. I believe that was from the fireplace but still it was not a good experience.

We arrived very late in the evening. After a 15 minute wait at check in with no one around my husband finally had to go behind the desk and start calling extensions. Another 15 minutes went by and a woman finally came out and said she could not see him from the break room and he must not have been waiting long. He said that was funny as he poked his head in there looking for someone to check us in and no one was there. They remodelled the Westwood Villas. The furniture is almost non existant. No coffee table or end tables.... where does one put one's beverage? We were told the legs break easily. The set up in the living room was so bad that I had to rearrange the furniture in order to be able to see the tv. You are also no longer able to see the tv from the kitchen due to walls being built where it use to be open and conducive to spending time together while cooking.

The resort has a lot going on- very family oriented! There's plenty of events to keep you busy. For the price of the room, I would have expected better service. We requested a queen bed and received a full. There were 3 guests but they didn't provide any blankets for the person who slept on the couch. And there wasn't any customer service in the building, so we would have needed to drive to the "town center" for help. Overall, it's a cute spot, but overpriced for sure.

If I give no stars I would, I was Uncomfortable with front desk, there was no one at the front desk when needed, then I over heard a racist comment about a black man, which my son and I made a complaint which no one cared. I wish anyone reading this will go to another water resort.

This waterpark isn't bad at all, it's very clean and the rides are nice but I don't think it's worth the money at all. meant for little kids I would say. if you are older than maybe 9 then the only fun thing is the water slides which are too short in my kids opinion. I went there with my 2 kids and I was just a spectator so they couldn't do the main waterslide that requires 3 people. the waves in the Wave pool are too small and the surfing is fun if you are good at it, but is very rough so be careful. overall a ok experience but my kids are 10 and 14 so they only had fun for like 10 mins in the end.

Resort is well maintained. Main resort had bowling alley, a theatre (they have some new movies as well), billiards, an arcade, pool and a waterpark. Lots of things to do for families which is great.

Thia place is vastly outdated, room was dirty, and even though the resort can't help this the guest were extremly rude. For a resort were you can stay overnight everything closes early. The pool is disgusting and there is no one monitoring any of the nonsense going on. The room by no means is worth the price. Furniture from the 70's, stuffy smell, and dirty room. Not staying again. Oh... almost forgot the horrible food in the restaurant.

Went to htooooh for the water park. Was a perfect place for my young kids who are 3 and 6. They are both above 42 inches which was necessary to ride the tube slides. There are other slides for younger kids too.

We stayed an a room at the Willowbrook section. The shower had black mold around the bottom, the ceiling fan had caked on dirt, the air conditioner fins were dirty and the light switches were sticky. The refrigerator vibrated and rattled so loudly that we had to keep turning it off. When I brought these issues up to the front desk, all they could say was they were renovating. That doesn't excuse dirt....

Very friendly and helpful staff! Great getaway weekend. The place is a bit dated but very clean and well kept. Breakfast was amazing! Must try an omelet. There is plenty to do such as indoor/outdoor pool, indoor waterpark, cosmic bowling, archery, tennis, mini golf, basketball ball, an arcade and a theater with a current movie playing! The lake/beach is relaxing with a dj spinning diverse music. Restaurants and a ice creamery are about a 8min drive away. You might catch some wildlife around dusk. My family and I are already planning on returning.

We killed 10 spiders in the span of 7 days here in the room. Gross! The bed was awful! We left a day early so we would have to sleep on that bed again. Even the pull out bed from the dated couch was terrible. Furniture is dated and dusty. Golf course was good. Staff was nice. Room was the worst we have ever been in, without a doubt for a time share. Had to pay for indoor tennis court time!? Outdoor tennis courts not in good shape. Outdoor pool is small for a place this size. Indoor water park sounded nice but it was pricey for the size!? Take a look at the picture of the pillow!! Gross!! We won't be back.

Great location, property, amenities, activities! Fun for sure. Nice staff. Appreciate the available M-F RCI discounts to the waterpark and restaurants. Love the waterfront and the pools. Waterpark is fun and well maintained. Dated RCI suites in the main building. Hopefully upgrades are in the future plans.

It's a bit small but kids enjoyed it. It's one of those places you go one time just to see it and enjoy the indoor water park because the weather was bad. Food is way over priced. Like I get it's gonna be a bit more but $5 for a slice of pizza, $5 for French fries, $5 for a hotdog The employees were friendly and the bathrooms/showers were clean.

The boiler was not working. The water was ice cold. They refunded us but gave us no notice before hand about the boiler being down. My 14m old was shivering within minutes. We had been here before when my 10yr old was 6 and he was so excited but even he was too cold to have fun. We drove an hour to leave within 20 minutes 10 of which were spent changing.

I really liked this place as a Girl's Trip with the 5 of us. The five of us stayed at the lodge and loved the interior. The tavern had a great selection of entrees that everyone could find their pick. I would definitely recommend this place to a friend and will be coming back again!

I was there for the wine fest. The entrance fees increase each year, but the perks do not. Now you can't take a small cooler with you either. I normally go every year, but I think this will be my last excursion there. Get a grip you greedy jerks....make it worth our while!

The resort is very rundown - particularly the water park, gym , arcade, pool room. The room had broken lamps and rust in the bathroom. We got a call in our room late at night when we were trying to put children to sleep asking if we wanted a time share tour. Front desk staff were not friendly and welcoming. Our key card never worked for our room as well. Only one dining option in November.

The rooms were good and so were most of the amenities. However, the water park was horrible. They rob you of $33 for one day and the whole water park can be completed in less than an hour. This is a waste of time and money if you're main focus is the water park.

First visit: We stayed in the lodge- the most outlets didn t work, no WiFi (which is a part of the resort fee), mold in the bathroom, walls were paper thin- we could hear the family next to us as if they were in the same room. Our wait time to check in was 28 minutes of standing in line at the front desk (just what I wanted to do after a long drive and snow tubing), and once I got there there were no activity schedules left. Once we got to the lodge, there was no one at the front desk during our entire stay to direct us or help with anything. The lodge was seriously outdated and dirty.
Update: After contacting the management, they generously gave us a night at Willowbrook, which was updated and much nicer. The staff was awesome and we really enjoyed ourselves.

Poorly maintained property. Reminds me of camp when I was a kid. Service is deplorable . Most employees were rude and have no sense of what customer service means. Had to travel outside the resort for all activities and entertainment bc water park and outdoor pool were only open sat and sunday. Mini golf coarse was infested with mosquitos bc ponds were not treated. Indoor pool mehhhhhh, not impressed with anything here.

being that this place is on a mountain, the cell signal is poor. Building is huge, a very wide selection of amenities. However, the building is definitely showing it's age. There's only one elevator for this big place. And it runs like it's being overused. My biggest disappointment is that there is no outside food places allowed to deliver to the resort and the food here is severely overpriced. They are charging gourmet prices for skating rink quality food. This places needs some improvement.

The experience here is terrible! Front desk service is so rude and not professional at all. They gave us the card and not even telling us where to find our room inside this resort. The room is completely outside of the building where we had to drive using a map. Why can they give us the direction when we check in?

My room has a kitchen with utensils and pots which is great, but for the 4 days I stayed there, there were 2 fire alarms, one caused by electrical outlet, the other caused by someone burning their popcorn. The worst part was that we were in the water park in one of those occasions and we were forced to go out of the building in swim pants during freezing temperature, we couldn't go back to the room through the hotel because it was blocked by their staff, my wife almost fainted because it was too cold, if you go to their water park, make sure you drive there just in case. And they didn't offer a refund for the water park.

While it's nice and better than many other places. But when you have a place like a Grand Solmar Lands End Penthouse, in Cabo San Lucas Mx. For your annual Vacation, It was a far cry from what we like. We didn't opt for the "Time Share " points program.
The Stromboli and sauce in the Town Center cafeteria was excellent. And The highlight of the trip. The "free" $20. Food coupon took care of that.
The offered travel coupon for listening to their offer is a RIP off. $50. TO register , and $199. Pp for taxes for 2 nights. That amounts to $225. Per night. The gift card up to $100. Ours Was $20.
We did like Linda, the girl that gave us the presentation.
Way back in 1986, being naive, I did buy a Split Rock time Share. A 20 year deal. But after 12years they wanted another $800. For the next 8 years. I left it expire.

Rooms were dated, but IMMACULATE. The sofabed was supposed to be queen but was a full, and labeled full. The fast food was amazingly good (wings, pizza, fries). As was the coffee.
Bathrooms in the indoor amusement park was kept clean all day long. Indoor pool was clean. No lines at the amusement park so my kids were able to ride as much as they wanted. Staff from room service, gift shop, front desk, and concession stand were all professional and helpful. We'd definitely return .

We received a flyer in the mail indicating we won a few items (for the most part this is legit) However, I will say when I inquired about the 2 air fair tickets/2 night stay winnings...inquired if there were any hidden fees... the girl on the phone said we only had to pay the taxes... not true... there is a 75.00 processing fee per person AND a 75.00 surcharge per person on top of the taxes.... either way... we show up at the location... a bit run down from what all we have seen (many pot holes on the road) once we checked in at the location to take our tour... the two insurrectionist were dressed like prostitutes... literally, both girls were in mini skirts and the one had black thigh highs on and the skirt was so short you could see where the thigh highs started and skirt ended :/ very disappointing for a family environment and first impression. Aside from the way they were dressed the one girl seemed in a mood and I felt bad for them after witnessing a "sales rep? or lady in charge" came out barking at them in front of us... very unprofessional. Our tour guide was amazing and kind and even though he did a wonderful job the damage was already done by what I witness in the lobby and with how run down things looked.... on top of this I though I would call the original number to give feedback to help them out. The girl who answered was nice and kind and said it would be good for a supervisor to know about these thing and put me on the phone with one.... couldn't believe my ears on how she spoke to me we are SO RELIEVED that we did not make a go on this timeshare after how she spoke to me.... if she as a supervisor can't control her emotions and is representing this establishment I can't imagine the nightmare people have to go through who stay here.....needless to say....we dodged a bullet!

I gave it 1 star because it would not let me give it a 1/2 star and the only reason it got a 1/2 star from us us because upon leaving my car was covered in snow and ice and a worker had me sit in my car as he cleaned the entire thing for me. The place is dirty, the food is horrible, it has one elevator. 1 movie playing all week and it took 54min to check in. Then they forgot to put our keys in envelope and had yo run back to 1st foor. The place is is desperate renovation! The gym was from the 80s, old outdated rundown equipment, pool room gas ques that need updated abd chalk! Omg chalk! It was like living in that 70s show in the 80s. It was our first time visiting and I will not recommend or go back. My daughter went to the front desk to ask for a bandaid, they had none, food court had none pool none restuarant none! The girl bartender in the water park and the house keeping staff were probably the nicest people in the place besides the restuarant. If you choose this place, good luck.

This resort is going down hill.

This resort is going down hill.
2 16 oz. bottles of water cost me $5.75.
the resort needs TLC. We didnt even do pool or shuffle board this time. The shuffle board was in need of TLC as was the pool tables and ping pong.
There is only one movie showing in the cinema which is for children. No movie for the adults.
I notice in the hot tub there was a piece of concrete missing.
Other adults don't respect the sign that staes no one under the age of 18 aloud in the hot tub. the rules are not enforced by the attend when the representative is there. there are ceiling tiles missing in the pool area.
The ball rooms are ran down.
The staff was friendly.

Stayed here for 2 nights 3 days, it was amazing! The water park is not very big, don't expect much, but the staff is very nice. The girl in charged of the wave pool showed me how to do it myself and offered to hold my hand (it was my first time doing surfing). However there are a lot of things you can do outside. We try to do everything our access pass gave us and we wished we could stay longer. Seth, in charged of the outdoor activities, helped us for the mini golf and tennis. He was so pleasant to talk to and was incredibly nice and polite. The staff that we saw around the hotel (not many) were very nice and always greeted us with a smile.
We are definitely coming back again.

This place is to beautiful to have such awful personnel. The staff is nasty and very unfriendly. The service sucks on a scale of 1-10 I give a negative 0. They just want your money. And nothing works. My kids slept on the floor along with myself. They promise a lot and no one delivers. The pull out sofa has a mattress made out of wire. I have back and neck issues and had to be severely medicated after my first night . It is not a five star but a half of one star.

Not good for winter especially if you are traveling with more than four people. The rooms to accommodate a large crowd are far away from the main cabin that has all the amenities. If there is a fire alarm u have to stand outside with your children in the cold until it's resolved. The balconies doesn't lock. No options for food if u want healthy items. Rooms don't look like what's on the Net! Anybody can walk in to the water park so y pay for passes!
