Everything you need for a perfect holiday in one only place

Lives up to its name, with florid gilt splendour more familiar from Dubai than Europe. Great facilities and a fantastic location, though all this can't quite offset the tawdry glamour of Budva. Wonderful place to stroll out onto the beach from and forget all the tackiness behind you.

Clean, close to the sea, pool and spa and varied food

An exclusive hotel that was literally built "on the foam of the sea". It deserves the status of a five-star hotel for its location, neatly spacious and tastefully decorated rooms. Staff extremely friendly and caring. Outdoor and indoor pools relaxing. Spa richly equipped. A really nice and attractive place for a quality vacation. It is about 2 kilometers away from the city center and 20 km from the sea.

This hotel has great facilities and great staff. The rooms were comfortable and spacious and had everything you needed. The only reason I m not giving a 5-star is that the food was mediocre. We had buffet breakfast included, however the standard of the food was nowhere near a 5-star. Although there was quite a variety - the quality and standard of the food was quite poor for a 5-star hotel. We also ordered food to our room one night, but the food was not very good. However, the service was excellent. Nevertheless, I recommend this hotel for an enjoyable stay at Montenegro. It s right on the beach and you can enjoy a nice long walk on either end of the beach with some very good restaurants ranging from seafood - bbq - pizza and other traditional food. Overall, A very relaxing and enjoyable stay!

Every cast, everything is on a high level, from a serviceable and very kind staff to an extremely clean and birdy environment. Everything is great, just mastavite it!

Nice beach bar belongs to the hotel. And the beach is very long and full with other beach bars and different facilities. It's very crowded.

This was not a planned visit SA the holiday company messed up our booking. The hotel is very impressive. We do find that the food in the old Yougoslavia tends to be not as hot as we are used to in the UK. Great place and such nice local people.

One tip the area does shut down for winter so go before the end of September.

Lacks any character - breakfast is a really odd experience, effectively one large hall of people. Pool is decent with plenty of loungers, same with the beach (although far from white sands).
The hotel is clearly aimed towards those heading to the top floor (casino) to lose lots of money. It is located very close to pretty deprived areas of Budva with service staff being pretty arrogant all round.
If you are at all after a more cultural visit in Montenegro avoid this at all costs.

My experience in Hotel Splendid has always been very good, while the last time, from January 3 to 5, was amazing. The quality of services in this hotel is excellent because first of all, its staff is very friendly and qualified. Since my first accommodation in Splendid in 2008, I have enjoyed nice infrastructure, location, swimming pool and SPA as well as quality food, especially of Promenade. At Splendid I find relax as well as entertainment, above all professionalism and quality.

Great place. Great rooms, great hotel. Would be 5 stars but for the fact they Smoke everywhere in the bar & lobby & you simply can t escape the stink. Clearly I don t smoke.

It is a beautiful hotel which is on the beach, the staff are helpful and kind, the rooms clean. Good and varied cuisine, breakfast is rich.

Stayed 1 night while visiting family. Excellent service from the moment we stepped our of our car. Room was well appointed, great bathroom and view.

Breakfast: vast options, delicious and fresh

Beach: excellent, quick walk from the hotel grounds to the beach. There was someone to quickly put up our umbrella and clean sand/water

SPA: enjoyed the facilities but the large "Turkish Bath" is really just a large hot tub shared with kids.

Parking: excellent, free valet service

OVERALL: would love to stay again!

Wonderful hotel by the sea. The pool and the beach are remarkable. The careful and complete services. Perfect for family vacations. Even the buffet is always varied and complete you eat everything. Good espresso because they make it with segafredo pods

The service is always fast and correct.
Their cafe is one of the best in Budva, which gives you an happy atmosphere when the meeting is for business.

Excellent hotel . Recommend . All is well . Clean. Friendly staff. There was a lot of space on the beach. There are lifeguards. The rooms are nice with expensive furniture. There are several restaurants and bars. Room cleaning Good. Well-groomed area. There is a kids club. Our child in the kids club liked it. By the evening, the sea was catching up on garbage, so in the morning it was very clean and warm, so it s better to swim in the sea in the morning. What I didn t like so much was the fact that there were boats and scooters near the hotel, which were rented out and parachuted. This is the best Hotel in the area. That's for sure .

Breathtaking. My wife's birthday and got a birthday cake and a bottle of champagne from the hotel. If you are looking for a perfect hotel in Montenegro is right here. The prices are fair and you get what you pay for. We got the feeling to be welcome. The spa area is very good. The food 10/10 points! I've rarely been so positively surprised in my life. The concierge and all the staff were very professional.

Clean, beautiful location overlooking dramatic mountains and beach. However smoking is allowed in the lobby and can be quite unpleasant. Food is mediocre local home cooking type fare. Fish friend in restaurant at lunch and dinner stinks the whole place out and leaves your clothes smelling awful. Rooms are well appointed with baths, but beware the scalding hot water!

Nice hotel but boring room for restaurant. Everything in buffet but temperature of dishes is insufficiently controlled.
There is a clothing code for the restaurant but it is not respected. You see shorts and slippers next to a nice dress ... too bad for those guests who don't want to adjust.

In the restaurant located in Idria it is almost a must to taste the famous slikrofi, a typical dish of the country, with lamb, mushrooms, gorgonzola or other sauces. Yummy! The gnocchi are also homemade. Home cooking, family restaurant with varied menu, interior decorated with old photos of the place. It is ideal for a good restorative meal after having one
visit to the mercury mine which is within walking distance. I recommend that you visit it is truly a unique experience and an Italian guide is also provided. After eating you can stroll through the town, a Unesco heritage site, and see the historic buildings that recall the mining history.

Beautiful hotel and excellent customer service, you will find almost everything. Comfort at the rendezvous!
