I dont know about the quality of service but we did not go with this company because my wife and I felt it was too expensive for the little work we needed

Spirit Movers came recommended and touted as a Christian company which swayed us to selecting them over another. The furniture was being moved into a new house with the hickory flooring only partly installed on the first floor. The last item brought in was my living room sofa. It was placed on the new hickory wood floor and pushed on its side leaving a deep scratch and two others on two other boards. That was September 23. Two weeks later we still haven t heard from their adjuster to getting this resolved. Our flooring company stopped installation as fixing this would require removing a lot of boards. This incident has delayed install of our kitchen and our actual move in leaving us to living in a camper since our other home has since sold. After looking through the house at the other furniture moved in I found other damage to 3 pieces of furniture. They are only things but I take very good care of my belongings which were not cheap. I want this resolved! I do not want to live in a camper over winter!!!!! Very, very disappointed considering what we paid for professional movers!!

The owner Walt and his two helpers were dedicated, professional throughout the moving process. They arrived on time and worked non-stop 5 hours and did an incredible job. Me and my husband were very happy and were relieved from the stress of moving. If I have to move again, I will definitely be calling Sprit Moving Company without any doubt.

We needed to move a mirror from Carlisle to Boston. All the movers we contacted didn t want to handle a single item or promise a set pickup and delivery time. Walter was excellent. Everything went well. He even helped us move two large pieces of furniture when he arrived which was above the call of duty. We highly recommend Spirit for any move.

The movers were kind and they did a nice job packing our China. None of it was broken! However, most of our furniture had some sort of damage done to it. They did not send a large enough truck(s) as discussed in the agreement.The furniture damages ranged from a large scratch down the arm of the cherry wood on the couch, to the leaf in our dining room table cracked, to scratches all over our bedroom furniture and dining room chairs to the leg they broke off our desk. I watched one mover take a sofa table, turn it upside down and wedge it into the top of the U-Haul. The piece was not covered with any protection. They damaged the bottom of our piano after trying to fit it through a space that was too small. My husband called twice to discuss how they planned to repair the furniture and he was told their "Board would discuss it and they would get back to him." We moved over two weeks ago and we are still waiting to hear their strategy for repair. We had high hopes for the workmanship and we were disappointed.

Spirit Moving gave us the best estimate for our move from Pennsylvania to South Carolina. Walter and his team took extra care with our belongings, by wrapping all of our furniture in quilts. Everything arrived in excellent shape, including my husbands prize grandfather clock. They were very professional, courteous and meticulous in every way. I can t say enough about this company. I m so glad they were our movers and I will recommend them to everyone I know! Excellent Company!!!!

The owner Walt and his helper Joel (?) were outstanding! They moved my daughters house full in 3 hours! Took everything apart and put it back together again quickly and gently! I had a vanity I made for my granddaughter with a very fragile mirror that had a small crack and it was placed in her new room wo any damage what so ever! They allowed my grandsons to help and even rewarded them when done! I can t say enough positive about the Company or the guys! Walt maneuvered the large truck like he had been born to do this. Just awesome! You can not go wrong with using these guys if you need stuff moved!!

They were great. Everything went smoothly. The guys were professional, courteous and fun. Everyone took pride in the job and wanted to make sure everything was moved without damage. The job came in under time and budget. Will definitely use again if needed and would recommend to family and friends without reservation.

I used Spirit Moving in conjunction with a relocation service when I moved my mother from her single family home into assisted living. Walt and his staff were wonderful and helped make what was a very emotional and stressful day for mom easier by showing tremendous patience and flexibility.

We hired Spirit Moving Company to help get the larger pieces of furniture during the move out of our home. The guys were very professional, extremely pleasant and conscientious, and FAST.

We had the luck of choosing a brutal, snowy day to make our move. The guys laid out mats and protective covers through the house to ensure our floors and carpet remained clean. They treated our furniture and home with extreme care, all while hustling to get everything loaded and unloaded quickly and efficiently. I'm not exaggerating when I say that they literally were jogging back to get the next piece of furniture.

Walt and his crew were very nice and a pleasure to talk with. I will wholeheartedly recommend Spirit Moving Company to those looking to move. We've moved in and out of houses 4 times in the last 5 years and this is the first time we've hired professional movers. It was worth every penny, and I will absolutely be calling Walt again for our next move.

We selected this company because of their touted Christian values. Even though they weren't the least expensive quote, we thought we would receive honesty, integrity and better service. Not true. After dropping furniture several times, crushing our baseboards and scratching walls, which had just been painted, we were assured that we should still pay in full and the owner would take care of it. It has been over a month and repeated phone calls to Walter and Xavier, and no return call. We were left with a bill to repair our walls, stairs and baseboard without so much as even an apology from this "Christian" value company. Practice what you preach!

We moved from Lancaster. They brought the wrong size truck and underestimated the move size. Took them coming back the next day to move extra things out and they still forgot items in the house. They also used our step ladder and broke it without telling us. One of the workers was a very poor worker and I would find him just sitting around a lot. Nice people but it 2 days instead of the 6 hours they said it would take.

Update: after my 2 star review, they offered 15% off our next move and replaced our ladder. They were very apologetic.

Really want to extend a large amount of gratitude to the four man crew we had today. Darnell, Marshall, Charles and Ed. Everyone was extremely friendly, skilled and professional. Extremely happy with them.

Since POD screwed me over I needed some one to move me from Lancaster county to berks county. These guys stepped up...charley and Ed and Cody 3 gentlemen. They where professional, respectful as well as polite and quick. They gave me a great deal they had to unload 2 16ft pods and bring them to my new home. Couldn t have been more happy. Will def. recommend them and use them again in the future.

I reached out via phone 4 times with no return call. I emailed the company and was told to put a request in and that was almost 3 weeks ago. I was really looking forward to give my business to a good Christian company but have had nothing but poor customer service. Very disappointing to say the least.

Hired to move a treadmill, furniture and office furniture after having new flooring installed. Timely communication. Movers were very careful with furniture, positioning, protecting floors.

I have moved many times but have never had such a pleasant professional experience. Spirit Moving moved both our home and our office on the same day. Walt, the owner is a class act top notch professional. We had the pleasure of first working with Xavier Baney, the office manager, a marine corp vet, who right from the start put our stress to rest with his knowledge and expertise. Walt Jackson, the owner, Darnell, Charlie, and Marshall carefully wrapped and gently moved our many 200 year old antique English pine armories and upholstered pieces down three flights of twisting stairs, no elevator. Every other mover took two days to do the same move as Walt and his crew did in 6 hours. Walt Jackson is one of the most honest, dependable business men I've ever met. He charged us half of what other movers wanted and he traveled almost three hours to get to our destination. We cannot Thank you enough Walt, Xavier, Darnell, Charlie, and Marshall. You took all the stress out of an overwhelming move with your calm, relaxed, professional, and hard working nature.

Professional, efficient, fair price. Can t say enough positive things about this company. Walt was fantastic.
