I have had the bike for 2 years now. 7000 km. A top bike in every way. Very solidly built, thoughtful, eye for detail, very strong frame, all parts of high quality. The styling is sublime, unobtrusive but delicately lined. For me, the Spiked is the Rolls Royce of e-bikes. Comfort, strength and flexibility. A suggestion of micro order: the protective cap above the chain on the pedals is rather made of light metal. The current plastic can bend when your trouser leg passes it. I bought the bike from Martin Jeuring in Nieuw Amsterdam. Rating: excellent! Delivery, service, professional, very helpful and friendly. An ambassador that Spiked Bicycles can be proud of. Oh, were there any problems? Hell yes. The upgrades from Brose. Use the American version and the bicycle repairer will not see you.
Spikes bike ordered in Haarlem, more than 1 year ago. Would be ready, but it was not. Took over an hour. Of course something like this can happen. Cycle to the dealer for the second turn. Delivered in the morning and after more than 2 hours the bike would be ready. Arrive after 2 and a half hours. Nothing has been done, reason no time.
Sorry to come another time. Ok again made an appointment. Especially on Thursday because there was plenty of time and attention. Now the bike was ready on time, but it appears that bearings are already worn after 2000 km. Please make a new appointment because they could not be replaced during this service because there was no time for that. Also no information whether or not this is covered by the warranty of rotating parts. As entrepreneurs, it costs us a lot in terms of time and money.
