Amazing food and nice service! The food is really special and it's fun to try the different things on the menu. We'll be back!

The food is good, the atmosphere is ok, the service is fine and dandy. Just be aware a coffee costs $4.

Worth the wait! Delicious food every time. Cozy eating experience. Service is very friendly and personable. The great for vegetarian vegan and other diet needs.

Everything here is AMAZING. The staff the food and the decor. It blows every other place in town out of the water by a mile! Casual relaxing and funky. It's a hidden gem in Glastonbury.

Top notch!! Went for lunch, sat outside on a beautiful day. Service was efficient and friendly. Drinks were made quickly and extremely well (I recommend That's What She Said -- even if you're not a gin drinker, it will change your mind!!). Food came out hot and delicious in very large portions. Burger blend is fabulous-- meaty but smooth -- just perfection. I can't wait to go back and try everything on the menu!

This was a very cute place with delicious from the famous Ryder toast to the Polish thunder omelet. Great indoor and outdoor seating options. The staff was very friendly. Highly recommend

Took an hour and a half to get our food. Waitress was unapologetic, explained that the kitchen is too small to keep up with the pace of the customers. Food was about diner-quality but certainly not worth the wait.

Went to the Spicy Green Bean for the first time today. By far, has the best chicken cutlet and Onion rings ever. Good atmosphere and service as well. Already can't want to go back again, and would recommend this place to everyone i know.

The food took along time to come out . The chicken cutlet sandwich didn't have much chicken and it was burnt and over cooked. I visit many restaurants and I was not impressed with this location.

Tried the 'new' Spicy Green Bean tonight. I have been a fan of the old location for over 13 years and loved the sister restaurant, Goats n' Roses. While I am sad that Goats n Roses will not return to Marlborough this summer, I was very happy to see a lot of that menu incorporated into this new location. My dinner was AMAZING! Service was spectacular, right down to the bus boy Logan who had wonderful insight to the menu and steered me in the right direction for dinner.

The food is amazing, you have to try the peanut butter and jelly wings and the chicken BLT sandwich. To die for

My friend loved her food mine not so great under cooked roasted vegetables brought back second time (they basically removed the raw ones) the waitress said no she watched her it was all new veggies (please) I cook for a living . Over priced , way to loud .Never even offered to take it off the bill will never go back again.

I was expecting so much more here. Had recently heard about this place again and when an change came along having lunch there I couldn't wait to see what I was going to get.
After looking at the menu & struggling over three choices I had decided on the crab cake sandwich. I haven't had crab in a while and it sounded great. Now sounding great and being great can be worlds apart, which I felt was the case here. Not an all bad sandwich, but there was nothing that made me say wow! I had a feeling I was going to be underwhelmed when I saw the sandwich. That aside I will go back here someday. They do have a large menu and maybe crab just isn't their thing. Whatever my other possibilities were that day I'll have to investigate those....

I had always seen The Spicy Green Bean driving by over the years but never stopped in to check it out until yesterday. I'm glad I did! Every meal my group got was delicious, I'll definitely be going back at some point.

Great food but be prepared to wait for it. Always busy for breakfast.

Since they've moved there is a little more space inside to wait until a seat becomes available. There's def more parking. I have been here about 5x's and the food is always fantastic: colorful presentation, very flavorful, texture is right on! The coffee is very watered down depending on what your preferences are. But, we weren't charged for coffee last time we were there, so maybe they don't charge? The place has been packed everytime I've been there (usu Sun morns). It is located in an area where there is an abundance of shopping so if you have to wait, you're not necessarily left twiddling your fingers. There is also a bar at this location that I didn't see at the previous location. The service is friendly and quick, but if you need something and they haven't been to your table for a while, you're encouraged to yell out. They don't have a gluten free menu, but they do have GF options. Home fries must have some sort of gluten (flour for crispiness?) because they weren't GF. But, 2 doors down is Dee's One Smart Cookie--GF gourmet food. Make that a stop on your New London Tpke tour and pick up some specialty items.

Amazing food and a good atmosphere. Some of the best brunch in CT. This place gets extremely packed so you can expect a wait.

The food is so good it gets super busy. Absolutely worth the wait but don't go when you're in a hurry. Grilled cheese croutons!?! Omg! You won't be disappointed.

Loved my first time at Spicy Green Bean. Ambiance is great and family friendly. Tried their sunday brunch menu and crab benedict was amazing.

Came here for my sister s birthday brunch and it was wonderful! Service was very friendly. The coffee was good and our mugs were always kept full. They have a great brunch menu- it s hard to decide! We all ordered different plates which was fun. I got The Crab Rockefeller benedict and it was delicious. Everyone loved their plates. The prices are also very good for large plates. I can t wait to come back and try more!

Can t believe that at 12:30pm on a Saturday afternoon they don t serve lunch. What s up with that????? They said no lunch menu until 3pm.

Always my first choice in Glastonbury, menu is a bit large but food and service are good.

I loved the old spicy green bean, but my two experiences at the new location were not the best. A ton of their dishes seem to be fried and a bit greasy (including the eggplant sandwich). I ordered eggs Benedict the last time I was in and my eggs came out completely over hard and over done. Hopefully things improve there! Unsure if I would go back.

Had brunch had lump crab didn t really taste any crab idk it was good bartender was cool too

ordered a Benedict and a omelet on what I thought was a quick brunch trip. They lost our ticket and took over 40 min to realize that we didn't have our food after ordering.

Went here for brunch. It is a trendy place. Food was good. The staff took good care of us. They had live jazz, performed by some really talented musicians. Thankfully, they weren't too loud & overbearing.
There were some cool works of art on the walls for sale. I attached a photo of one of them.

Thickest meatiest steak I've ever had in my life. $28 is more expensive than what I'm used to for a single dish, but it was so worth. The wings themselves were alright, like mediocre pizza restaurant quality, but the honey sriracha sauce makes them wings pretty good.

Great brunch spot with a fun & extensive menu. (And a full bar ) Gluten free and vegetarian options too.

Food was great however when we arrived we asked for a large table to accommodate our large group and they never put two tables together we waited too long and had to seat ourselves at two tables

Funky Eclectic. This is a cool go-to lunch spot in Glastonbury. The chef has some very funky selections. The Chicken Saltimbocca sandwich was to die for. The cold sides of coleslaw and Asian noddles are very good. The quirky wall art is cool. The service is right there and the prices are spot on. Parking is tight.

Smashing food and the new location is very nice! The full bar is a great addition. We went for brunch and had the Polish Thunder (omelet) and the Humpty Dumpty (think pancake egg sandwich). Both were stupendous, they give you a ton of food. Oh and do yourself a favor and get the Ryder toast.

Had a wonderful lunch. Veggie burger and falafel both delicious. Had peanut butter/ chocolate dessert. Server was helpful and friendly... looking forward to our next visit.

Whatever you order, make sure you get with the breakfast potatoes! Simply delicious. Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. Red potatoes, sweet potatoes and purple potatoes. Best breakfast potatoes I've ever had.

I m convinced that most of the reviews for this place are fake. The food is bland and the service is inattentive, especially for such a small resturaunt.

Very busy on a Sunday morning. We had a 45 minute wait but that's a good sign. The menu was creative, the food was good, the table was sticky.

Yummy choices, friendly staff, but it gets busy fast, so get there early! Byob if you desire.

There food is so good I can't explain it. Every time I have been it has been perfect. Every one I have ever brought here can't believe either. Best coffee too.

Had breakfast. Food was delicious, portions large, coffee, hash, eggs the best. Food was warm, not hot. Expensive. Coffee was $4 a cup.

My family and I went for breakfast. We were super excited to try this restaurant. However, it was super disappointing. We got a table and drinks right away. The wait for our waitress to take our order was about 30 minutes. Our waitress forgot about us and another waitress had to take our order. The wait for the food was about 35 minutes. The pancakes were rubbery and the food was bland. The hashbrowns were frozen store bought. The maple syrup was Aunt Jemimas. Nothing special about the food. I expected food full of flavor but bland is what we got.

Can t say enough good things about this place!! The food and staff are amazing!! I ve been several times and the menu is always changing with so many options! The food is absolutely delicious and they pack in the flavor!! Staff is very accommodating and always goes above and beyond for our family!! The Spicy green bean has become our favorite restaurant and when we can t make it in we always call for pick up! The staff is even nice enough to bring everything out to our car! If you haven t been for brunch your missing out big time!! Hands down the best spot for breakfast and brunch on the weekend!!

It seems like no matter what I order from their menu it is always Great. Whether it is an app, a salad or an entree...the food is just always awesome. Great staff, really nice atmosphere and the drink and wine list is awesome.

If I could only go there every day....

Great breakfast place!! But seems too busy with long wait times, at least on Saturdays!! They moved to a new location and I like it even more now
