I've Adopted 2 cat from here unfortunately 1 died her name was Maggie she was 14 years of age we only had her for a month until she passed .She was loveable and friendly miss her dearly but we also have 2nd cat Male name Midnight so playful very smart he most definitely bring our household joy my daughter probably love to Adopted every last animal there..lol
Animals seem very well cared for until they are adopted. Clean spaces. Very helpful staff. My son loved visiting and playing with the kitties

My daughter and I are volunteers at the SPCA. We love to spend time helping to socialize the kitties, and walk and play with the dogs! However, the best day for us is the day after Bissell Empty the Shelter program has occurred, when the company Bissell pays for all adoption fees for anyone who qualifies to adopt from the SPCA. An empty shelter is beautiful! I highly recommend volunteering here. Everyone is kind, and they try to make the best of the situations that these sweet animals are in. We love being a part of that. And if you're looking for a new friend, this is the place to go!
It's a good place to take your dog for being in the city.
The SPCA does Animal Rescue. They get people to Join for $19.00 per month
No screening process. No information on why declawing is bad and other methods to try. Several of their rescue pets have ended up at kill shelters and they refuse to take them back.

The staff has been very helpful when we come in, and don't mind answering questions about an animal we're considering adopting.(both our cats have come from here, as those we have referred friends who have adopted) . Sometimes looking and then going home to think on things on things is the best choice. You do what's best for you as well as the cat(s) or dog(s). Staff won't judge you. They seem to appriciate you making sure of what you want to do).
As we try to adopt older cats who are over looked by kittens, the price are nominal but for the younger cats prices are extremely reasonable as well. I think the highest I've seen is 125$ Highest I think I've seen for dogs was around 300$ and that was for puppies.
Considering all the services and work they have put into all the animals, the prices for adoption are incredible. Plus you get at least one or more family member at a time. How cool is that!!
This is a GREAT place if you're looking to adopt.
They do not seem to truly care about the animals in their care; as they do not adequately screen at all! They have adopted pets on 3 separate occasions to individuals I know personally who are terrible pet owners and routinely get pets and then dump them. A simple vet check or home check would have revealed how unsuited these homes are. One home had their dog die from heartworm disease and the pet was never given proper vet care. Yet they were able to quickly and easily adopt from the SPCA! How is this helping when the pets go from one bad situation to another?

Horrible experience, made us pay for one the shots the dog almost 100.00 and then wouldn't give our dog the shot .talking to a lawyer now.

Went in to donate some dog food, came out with a new furbaby. The staff is friendly and very professional. They made sure that Wanda was a right fit for us.

Great place to find a nice cat or dog. Just ask the handlers which animal is good with families or whatever your situation is. They'll direct you to the right dog or cat for your family. I found two over the years.
We were impressed with the cleanliness of the facility and the knowledgeable staff. We found several cats that we liked and it was great to have a separate room to spend time with each cat separately to checkout the personality before making a decision. We chose a two year old tiger that has quickly become a real part of our family.
The workers and volunteers are super friendly and really care about the animals. Love this place!
Staff not very friendly, act annoyed and seam like they have an attitude. Drove over an hour to get there and got very little help and even less help over the phone the next day when we were told to call back for information.
