Been here 2x for private events & be warned it's a bit hard to find... The Gleacher Ctr is on an elevated street level that doesn't quite show on Google maps. Some parts are nicer than others (best: corner spot with 2 walls of windows; worst: stuffy lecture hall for ~50; meh: conference rooms for ~12). Catering was pretty good, although not all staff members are equally helpful (I'm vegan; asked 2 staff members before I got solid answers)

I have had several business\social events here and you can't beat the location on the river and the price. Staff is great and very accommodating and I would highly recommend choosing Gleacher over a hotel or other venue. They took time to understand our event and our needs and I felt like they were an essential part of our team and not just a vendor. Catering is from Wolfgang Puck and was excellent and competitively priced. They flexed with our timing and did not nickle and dime us for a few extras that they provided. They have provided the best venue, service and experience for my company and my guests out of any other event that I have held in Chicago.
Great downtown facilities for the Booth part-time MBA program. The Hyde Park campus is much better though. Also, the Booth bookstore is here.

Attended a CPWA examination class here and was blown away by the facility, the staff and the environment. Despite being from New England it made me contemplate coming back here to get my MBA.
I have to rated it Awesome after my lost wallet with lots of cash turned in... Not to mention its nice classroom setting for conferences, meetings, great locations, parking options, the catering is ok to my opinion.

The bookstore for UC mementos is on the first floor.
It is a great building in the middle of downtown. It has incredible views to the Chicago Tribune and other landmarks. The staff is very professional. The conference rooms are nice and the dinning experience if attending a conference is great.
Gleacher is great. This place houses some serious brainpower.

Amazing urban graduate school campus. Great class rooms, conference rooms and speaker venues. Catering is handled well. Parking exists, but it's a bit tricky to find. Check if the front desk can provide validation. The building location is gorgeous.

Went to a talk. Impressive bar but the food ran out well before the reception was over. As for the talk, a Sticker Center event, it was interesting but we now know (since the next invited speaker is Steve Bannon) the point was more provocation than anything else.

Modern, spacious and bright. We came to the center as part of our company's executive education program. The building is located in the heart of downtown Chicago right next to the river and cityfront plaza.

A great facility. Lecture rooms and study rooms are comfortable and have the latest technology. Great events happen here. I love this place.
Great facility. Took a strategy class here and enjoyed the entire week. They have a UofC bookstore on the first floor.
They offer some of the greatest programs for professionals in the state of Illinois.

UChicago A space where students can feel free to visit and study. The view from the third and fourth floors is fine because I am looking at the river. Booth seems to chase out the regular students, but it does not seem to matter.
Used the conference center for a day of workshops. Space clean, very attentive help, food a tad pricey.
We have held our annual corporate event at the Gleacher Center for years. We look forward to returning every year. The facility, location, staff and food are exceptional.

Great place in a cool part of downtown. Right by Magnificent Mile and all the shopping and next to the Chicago River, NBC tower and Tribune Tower. A good place to have any type of event, and there are great views from the windows.

Light airy building for University of Chicago Bloom School students. Nice store on first floor with school clothes, books and supplies. The staff could use a bit of training. There is no way possible that the school could have hired a more unfriendly and surly student to work in their store. She was clearly unsuited to assist customers on any level. I asked a building employee where a particular lecture room was. He gave me the wrong information. Really lovely building. Try to avoid main floor staff.

Recently went to Senator Dodd and Hank Paulson discuss the crash of 2008. Very nice space Univ. Of Chicago has for their business school.
Elegant architecture and quint wood detailing makes the entire inside, and the location is near impossible to beat

The Gleacher Center really is an outstanding place. Primarily it hosts graduate programs for the University of Chicago, but spaces can be reserved by others in advance.
The spaces are very well kept, and the service is very professional and efficient. There is a wide variety of spaces in terms of size, as well as a small cafe.
University of chicago executive education takes place here. If you are here do visit the model price hall of fame on the 6th floor
Terrific, well-located, beautiful setting for conferences / classes. Almost co-located with the Intercontinental Hotel. Modern, spacious, with wi-fi connectivity and a great book store downstairs. Stunning views from the lounges facing the river / lake. Not as close to the L as you'd want, though (Clark/Lake-blue and Grand-red are a good walk). You pay for the love, however...UofC is market-rate.

Very nice conference area with very public reminders of all of the U Chicago Nobel Laureates. Hard to not feel inspired here.
