Ive had several issues since moving into this apt. The first was the angry man trying to find the girl that lived there before me. I asked for the locks to be changed or a deadbolt to be added and was told it would be taken care of...never was. The old fridge that came with the apartment died. It took a week to get it replaced which meant I lost all the food I had. I then had a leak that smelled horribe and it took several days before it was repaired. Most recently, my electric was cut off even though its included in the rent. Went without power for 2 days. All you ever get in response is "im sorry". No offer to ever replace the lost food. No offer at a break on rent due to not having power for 2 days. Never an offer to discount rent since I didnt stay in the apartment several days because of the foul odor. Im sorrys dont replace purchased food. Im not the most picky person but these things definitely bug me.
Dont rent from these people or leave your property with them!!! Cindy is a psycho no one knows what they're doing and steal your money . BE WARE
I been living at my apartment almost 2 years, they don't do any repairs. Before I moved in they said they would paint my apartment and get me a doorbell, I'm still waiting
Deceptive Craigslist ad (condo was advertised at a lower monthly rate then said it was a "mistake" when interest was shown). VERY slow to respond to emails and voicemails during rental and move out process. No response to issues with leased property once lease was signed. Vague information on property owner intent, status for extension, etc.
My boyfriend and I have utilized Spagna Goodman for almost two years now. We moved out of Buffalo, but wanted to keep the house that was purchased in the Kenmore/Tonawanda area as an investment. It was decided that we would rent it out using a management company as we no longer live in the area. While there were a few hiccups initially, things seemed to be moving along fine. Then over the last few months, neither of our contacts at Spagna Goodman have answered our phone calls. Cindy, our representative, in particular has been unresponsive and evasive. Now, it appears as though the company is pocketing the money that the property earns as there have been no deposits into the bank account for two months. In conjunction with this, there had been "invoices" and "statement" Cindy sent to us indicating there was a deposit in the bank and yet magically it never appeared in the account. We are going to start legal proceedings and find a new management company. I am thoroughly disgusted with them and I advise anyone remotely considering using this company to turn around and run!
