Space Architects + Planners has truly been a joy to work with in Chicago. Their team demonstrates impressive creativity while staying mindful of your budget, and they genuinely prioritize client feedback. It has been exciting to see how they have evolved and expanded their expertise over the years.

Working with Jean and the team at Space Architects + Planners in Chicago was a standout experience for the complete renovation of a historic single-family home. It was a substantial project that took about a year, requiring us to relocate for half of that time. We removed a rarely used back staircase to create a more functional layout, adding a dedicated office and laundry room while fully updating the kitchen and bathrooms. Even though this was our first collaboration, the synergy was immediate. As an interior designer with high standards for finishes, I appreciated how seamlessly we worked together. The entire team Jean assembled was flexible, adaptable, and laser-focused on our shared goals. When inevitable challenges popped up during the renovation, they remained calm and solution-oriented. Their positive, collaborative attitude truly elevated the quality of the work, resulting in a home so beautiful it was featured in a national publication. Renovating can be a pricey and stressful endeavor, but Jean and his group provided much-needed clarity and reliability when every detail mattered. I highly recommend them and look forward to future projects together.

Jean, Meredith, Goran, and the rest of the crew at Space Architects + Planners were fantastic partners in designing our Chicago single-family residence. As this was a ground-up build, their blend of creativity, efficiency, and professional expertise really shone through. Their deep understanding of local regulations was invaluable, especially when navigating the variance required for our project. They also managed the contractor bidding process smoothly and collaborated closely with the builder we selected. We love the final result and highly recommend this team to anyone looking for an exceptional architectural experience in the city.

Collaborating with Space Architects + Planners on a Old Town residence project was a seamless experience. Jean and his Chicago-based team were incredibly responsive, ensuring the design phase progressed smoothly without delays. For a custom, multi-disciplinary build like this, having an architect who truly understands the nuance of the work is essential, and Space delivered. They made the transition from design concepts to final construction documents clear and efficient. The client’s confidence in the firm was palpable, matching our own high regard for their professionalism. Space is a top-tier architectural firm in the area, and we look forward to our next joint venture. Highly recommended.
