Spa Marriott Son Antem - Palma Review

I was in the spa with my family and I agreed that there were not many people we were very relaxed luxury. All perfect

Constantly changing owners, small shabby rooms, once 5 now a maximum of 3 stars, restaurant self-service buffet.

Beautiful and elegant, the food is not up to the resort

Very versatile sports facilities in very well-kept garden area. 2 golf courses with the best driving range on the island. Jogging and promenade through the wild nature of the resort. Tennis courts and beach volleyball with a SPA inside and outside. Restaurant with terrace and of course you are sitting in front of the golf course. The fitness center is adequate for most. Then daily fitness and yoga classes take place, led by PRO trainers.

Explendido place, I was at a wedding and everything was 5 stars, I recommend this place

Went to the gym. Clean and it's got all you would need in a gym. The AC was perfect and helped me to keep going.

A few things have moved around since the last visit. Sales centre has gone to a small location on the top floor of the club house. Reception now next to the Market Place in the clubhouse. Villas in process of being updated in some areas of the resort. One of the golf courses is bring updated this year 2020. Hotel on site is now a Be Live hotel and is not part of the Marriott resort. Still a great place for a stay away from home. Could do with Smart TVs to allow Netflix or Prime watching. Kitchen well equipped with good oven/hob and fridge freezer, microwave, toaster, coffee ensure and nespresso machine. Very comfortable beds with ensuite in main bedroom and separate shower room for second bedroom.

The hotel is awesome!
A huge area with pool and golf and much more! The good thing is that there is also an indoor pool so it is also raining for the after season. Otherwise on the whole a judge nice stay so far. Gladly again

Great hotel Impeccable but a little far from the buffet

Im a 15 year old and hated the experience. There was barely any other kids and we our villa was a 15 minute walk from the reception. But there were villas that could be up to a 30 minute walk.

An amazing place, a giant assortment at breakfast. A very refreshing pool in the summer and very ergonomic rooms

Great getaway. Not much to do there with a family in December but a great place for a family vacation. The apartments are very convenient. Everything is in place. Including egg whips.
If you chose to rent a car ...avoid Sixt. They are quite dubious and cheats. They insist you pay insurance upon vehicles they have insured. If you don't they send you dubious claims afterwards.
They were the only bad experience on this family vacation.

Robbed at Marriott Club Son Antem (Palma de Mallorca)

During the month of September, we spent 12 days at Marriott Club Son Antem, at Palma de Mallorca. On September 8th, all our family (including our 2-year old baby boy and my 83-year old father in law) went out for dinner. The only one night in which we left Marriott. When we came back, our Marriott Villa had the main door closed from the inside. We were able to access from yard, which had full access from totally dark golf course, through our room, where the door lock was violented and broken. Our safety box was also broken and all our belongings, stolen. We informed about this to Marriott's security man, but he said he was 7kms away and was the only safety guy in place. However, our Villa was located outside security area and had full access not only from golf course but as well from main Street. Until next day, late afternoon, Marriott did not change our Villa. We had to sleep that night with our door broken and everything messed up. The next "holidays" until we left were awful. No one at Marriott with a minimum empathy. My husband and father in law spent one afternoon at hospital for the stress this situation caused. We started a claim with Marriott and Marriott sent our claim to the insurance company who concluded without providing any information on investigation, that hotel had all security measures in place. So, thieves were able to: 1) access Marriott's premises without no control at all, 2) investigate, which family left the Villa that night, 3) break the door with no security guard seeing this because he was far away, 4) no cameras detected this either, 5) thieves had the time to break a safety box and leave premises with bags and whatever, in an unregistered car. So, which security measures are the ones Marriott needs to protect their customers?? How is it possible that we were exposed to this situation, on an expensive Marriott and they did not even recognize a minimum flaw in their measures? This is how Marriott loved their customers and takes care of them. Here some pics.

We had a pleasant stay, our house was cosy and clean, the staff is friendly and highly motivated to make the best out of your vacation

We were over a timeshare exchange here. Super apartments with perfect service. We felt totally well. The bar in the area is nothing special (normal hotel bar), but worth the breakfast, especially if you can sit on the terrace. Again, the staff is very friendly and accommodating. We will come back.

Third visit without disappointment. Incredible corner to relax. Very clean, incredibly comfortable bed, spa with everything you need for relaxation. Dinner and breakfast great. I have not missed anything. We will repeat again.

Son Antem is a great golf resort. You really have to look for negative things.

Clean, great customer service, tranquil, and a haven for golfers. Recommend to folks who are looking for some quiet time away from the hustle and bustle of a city.

Here in Son Antem East you will never play again.

Third time at Marriott Son Antem and I was once again highly impressed. The staff went over and beyond to cater to our needs. Villa was clean with very comfortable beds and cushy pillows. Numerous facilities and activities on site within walking distance from the villa and of course the kids enjoyed the pool.

Very nice place that suits families. Many pools tjs well monitored. Spacious and well equipped villas. Restaurants and minimarket at reasonable prices. But the hotel does not provide the quality of service of a 5-star hotel. 3 and a half at best.

The design and comfort is impeccable. They are super luxury residences, usually three bedrooms, with full kitchens, separate areas to relax, sleep and eat, luxury bedding, washer and dryer, and free high-speed Wi-Fi connection.
There is no lack of detail in this elegant residential complex, all supervised by a high management that makes it an excellent delicacy. To complement this oasis of tranquility there is an emblematic spa where you can choose from a variety of treatments. It also has a restaurant La Terrassa with artisan cuisine and a mini market The Marketplace, where you can find bakery products, local foods, wines and souvenirs. It has a magnificent golf course and an indoor and outdoor pool, a gym store etc ..... All impeccable and of high quality. Spending a day in this environment is a complete relaxation for both the mind and the physical.

Very good brunch, good plan to enjoy the Sunday of spa pool terrace and a good buffet lunch / brunch with variety of products and psotres.

We've been coming here every year for around 15 years now and the resort remains one of our favorite destinations in the world. The staff is very, very good - you'd expect that from Marriott but the Son Antem staff exceeds all expectations. And the facilities are good enough that you never have to leave the grounds if you don't want to (although it'd be a shame to skip Majorca). The villas are clean, comfortable and fully equipped and cleaned regularly during your stay. Most are located near the golf course in gives of trees and flowering bushes: lovely, quiet and peaceful. Sunbathe in your own back yard if you wish, go to one of the pools of you'd rather. Great place!

Golf is great value for money, West course is good, and good condition

This lovely townhouse apartment is really nice and well maintained. The apartments have a terrace and a garden. Near the hotel in the area there is a pool that is heated outdoors. The service from the staff was tiptop, they were always very helpful.

Beautiful oasis to relax and spend your vacation or a day in the spa area with lunch included for 40 . The only negative touch was the waiter Leonardo who had no manners at all.

Very nice spa. Quiet and cared for. Very friendly staff. You feel in a 5-star facility.

The site is in a great area. It was our first time at the Spa and I missed a guided tour of the facility to see where everything is, although the receptionist explains it to you, it is not the same. Another detail that I did not like is that many people were completely naked in places where it was not allowed. They have a sign in several languages where it says where is allowed.

Best of all the hot tubs and the food. They had a spa + menu offer for 40 and I have to say that it was the best.
They served us sour salad and beef with prawns. Spectacular.

So good my 2nd attempt! So for golfing guests I would give 3 stars - because the apartments are really very neat - but otherwise?
I was not able to book 1 appointment in the spa for the next 3 days !! This happened to me for the second time and next year I will book another hotel with my family !!

Good service and food. Spa department needs renovation. If you do not play golf, there is not much to do.

Super recommendable !!! IDEAL FOR A DAY OF SUPER RELAX !! It eats very well! the manager of the restaurant impressive an exquisite treatment !! It is not cheap but not excessive for what it offers !! Also note the good treatment received by the guy in the souvenir shop, where they buy spa vouchers and bathrobe. Experience to give you a whim and repeat!

Getting a bit run down and worn. If you don't mind the isolation and the holiday camp feel then this is for you. Spa is family friendly but complicated to get to from the hotel. Buffet style dinner was ok but I would have preferred normal table service as it was a spa treat package.

Nice place. Indoor outdoor pool. Supposed to be 5 star but it's a little worn. It looks the way a 4/5 star hotel looked in the 80s.

Very organized structure. A paradise for golfers and more. There are outdoor and indoor pools with hot and cold whirlpools. Plus spa and holistic treatments. There is also a convenience store and a clothing store. The staff is very kind and full of information and speaks almost all the main languages including Italian. Many parks also close to the tennis courts or golf courses. The only disappointment was the in-house restaurant, La Terrassa, very expensive both for the real quality of the food and for the level of service, perhaps a bit too informal and out of tune with the high target of the structure; you can safely avoid it.
