I can t praise Stephanie enough. She is very caring and takes her time with you. I have psoriatic arthritis and was pretty bad off when I saw her 8 months ago, I am so pleased that we finally found a medication that works and my skin is 99% clear. From start to finish everyone in their office is amazing

The check in was easy, fast and safe with many precautions in place. Didn t have to wait. Staff was friendly and helpful. Dr. Semler was excellent.

The entire staff & Dr Mohney were very professional & caring. I would recommend their service to anyone having skin issues !

All aspects of my appt were handled by professional, efficient and positive employees. It was a pleasant experience that inspired confidence in my treatment and procedures there.

Everyone at this office is amazing. I see Dr. Liggett and she is not only a wonderful doctor, but she is very personable, making me very at ease.

Receptionist was friendly and helpful. The office was neat, masks worn, sanitizers positioned all over, all kiosk wiped throughly after each use. Seating six feet apart and if limit met we were given a pager to use and sit in our car.

I was called back right on time. Grant was friendly and took all the information. Got things set up and arranged for Ginna. Ginna was very informative, made sure I understand everything she was going to do and explained why. Kept me informed and ask about my welfare. If I was doing ok. Told me each step. Was gentle, skillful and quick. Explained follow up and how long it would take.

Overall 100% pleased with my experience.

After struggling and dealing with a very large and irritating rash on the inside of my right hand and it being misdiagnosed by several dermatologist over the last 13 years I have finally found a place where they listened and take the time to pay attention to what I say. 3 weeks into laser treatment and using an ointment I can use my hand again without any complaints and feel normal once again. I can not say thank you enough!

Dr. Semler and his staff provide the highest level of care with the utmost of kindness, compassion, and respect. They make their patients feel important. In addition, they are extremely efficient and well organized. I travel an hour each way to see Dr. Semler because his
expertise and care are unparalleled. I highly recommend Southwestern Michigan Dermatology and would never go anywhere else!

As an old redhead, I have tons of sun damage, from lawn mowing, baling hay, just living. I have been a patient since the practice opened, having awful experiences with another group. Dr. Mohney and his staff have constantly provided thorough, professional and un-rushed care for my sensitive and well-damaged skin. YES, scheduling IS challenging. Why? Because they are the best game in town an there's only so many cubic minutes in the doctor's day to see you you... mostly because they are excellent at what they do. I schedule 3X/ year and Dr. always finds "sunspots" beyond the ones I do . Yes, I HAVE recommended to friends and family. Be well!

From the moment I called to get an appointment until I left after my appointment there was nothing but 5 stars! Office staff went out of their way to help me, the nursing staff, as busy as they are were kind and made me feel I was important. Doctor Semper, gave me the time needed to meet all my needs without feeling like I was being rushed. Check out was fast and again they were very kind. I wish I could give this office 10 stars. Keep up the good work! I heard many patients say they wouldn't go any where else!!!

Just had my first visit and was very pleased with the professionalism and friendliness.

This was by far the nicest healthcare facility I ve been to in a while. It was 9am and everyone seemed like they were so happy to be there; I was treated with so much kindness and care!! They walked me through everything without making me feel rushed once. The best first visit ever :)

I have had a great experience with all of the office staff and providers I and my family have seen. Everyone I have met has been professional, warm and compassionate.
The ONLY reason for deducting a star from my review is that almost every time I am at the office I have to wait 25-45 minutes past my scheduled appointment time before the provider comes into the room.
One time, my son had an 8am appointment and that was the only time we were seen promptly. (Which makes me think the schedule just gets behind as the day goes on).

The entire staff is amazing, thoughtful and friendly I would recommend this practice to absolutely everyone!

I am so glad that I am a patient at this dermatology practice. I felt totally safe entering the facility, with the excellent pandemic-time measures implemented there. All staff I encountered treated me with respect and care.

Southwest Michigan Dermatology is the most efficient patient care facility that I have used. Check-in and check~out is a model that other patient care facilities should use. Appointments are on time and staff are professional. I always feel they keep my health and care as most important.

I have been seeing Dr Semler for many years he Is personable, thorough, he listens and addresses all my concerns. One of the best drs out there. Always a positive and friendly experience with staff and reception.

They took care of me quickly and professionally. I was there less than a half hour.

I have total confidence in this office, the doctor, and the care I received.

I was a little nervous at first but everybody was so nice and that made me feel so much better.

Very unresponsive. They take forever to return your call, and, when they do, they are rude, curt, and unhelpful. They are not concerned with customer service at all.

Called about getting a consultation was told it would be $50 for the consultation since it was cosmetic. Went in and talked for 10min with Dr. Jones and left. Got a bill in the mail for $600 as if I had gotten the procedure done, called them and they canceled that. Then i got a bill for $150 and they say it s because it was considered an office visit based on what we discussed. I m willing to pay what I agreed to not willing to pay for changes that they make they make on the fly.

Office manger Lisa Walters is very rude and unprofessional, don t recommend this place to anyone. Very rude

I have always found this practice to be very well run. The staff is courteous and efficient. The PAs and Dr. Mohney are always timely, patient and informative. The staff seem to look for ways to help each other and keep the patient flow efficient. My last visit during the frustrations of the pandemic went very smoothly. I could tell a great deal of thought went into organizing their new patient flow system.

Dr. Horton was so caring and personal. She always takes time to listen. I couldn't be more pleased.

I feel like I'm in good hands with the people at Southwest Michigan Dermatology. Appointments are easy to get, they are all very friendly, and the office adheres to the COVID requirements. I have an immune deficiency so this is important. Most of all, my issues were heard empathically and addressed quickly.

I went in to get a mole removed and I had Dr. james. She was unempathetic, hurried, and aggressive.
She pulled hair out of my head that didn t need to be removed, just moved over. at the end of my visit, i looked at the table to see a large clump of my hair that she had pulled out. absolutely unnecessary and terribly painful. i had asked if she wanted my hair down, out of a bun, and she said no, i can make it work . This, to my surprise, meant she would be pulling out the hair in her way with her hands. I would have let her cut my hair if that would have been helpful.

When I asked a question about what the procedure entailed she met it with hostility and abrasiveness. She used the phrase oh course and obviously when answering legitimate questions like can I use shampoo on the wound today? or would swimming in a pool be okay?

The medical Assistant who showed me to the exam room was kind and attentive.

I just left this office with my daughter & had to write a positive review after all these negative reviews. This was our 1st time here & the greeter was friendly, the check in kiosk was a breeze, the check in nurse was friendly & Stephanie, the PA was great! Everyone had good attitudes and on a cruddy, rainy Monday morning. Ugh! Stephanie was informative & really welcoming. I would highly recommend this office!

Set up for Covid very efficiently. My skin problem resolved quickly. I d recommend Dr. Semler to all my family and friends.

Dr. Semler and the team at Southwest Michigan Detmatology are simply amazing. I have been going there for many years and also sometimes refer patients with skin issues there (I am a dentist). They are very experienced and knowledgeable and also have strong disinfection and safety protocols in place. Why would someone go anywhere else?

From the check in to the check out & everything in between, I felt very safe. I watched nurses clean chairs, door handles and countertops. The front staff cleaned the check in pens and computers. The check out staff had their masks & protective screens. Jennifer PA was thorough and kind to my teen daughter. Emily PA provided consistent care and I enjoy seeing her yearly. I only recommend this dermatology office!!

Love the safe, friendly check-in available during this COVID-19 pandemic! One part was by text, then at the front waiting area and lastly from my car when doctor was ready for my appointment. It was safe, quick and efficient. I am in my 80's and appreciated being able to check in without waiting and if I did need help, there were several employees ready and able to assist.

When I called for an appointment for a problem, I was fit in the following day. When i got there, he clinic was right on time and I didn't wait at all before I was ushered to a room and taken care of. Great experience. Would highly recommend this clinic.

My doctor recommended your office. After many years at another center I was pleasantly surprised to find that the doctor was more thorough with me during the exam. In addition to that my appointment started 10 minutes before scheduled.

I had an appointment with Kayla, PA-C at Southwest MI Dermotology and she was fantastic-great bedside manner and was on time with her appointments.

Check in was safe, easy and quick. I only waited a few minutes in the car and I was called into the office and went straight to the examination room. No waiting! The staff was super friendly and knowledgable. The whole visit was pleasant and nonthreatening.

I recently had an appointment at SW MI Dermatology with PA Lindsey. I really liked Lindsey, she did a great job explaining areas of concern for me.
I felt that the office was set up well in regard to keeping people safe from COVID. I would highly recommend SW MI Dermatology.

I've been here twice over the span of two years and the doctor who saw me both times is very good. She is thorough, well-mannered, and very attentive. The lobby has a new type of e-check-in that allows you to bypass all of the insane paperwork that we're all used to. Procedure was quick and easy. Follow-up was also great.

I was recommended David Semlar from my normal doctor I have all types of Sensitive skin and have been to many places before and no one else could help or properly diagnose me Dr.Semlar helped me so much for the past couple of years I've been seeing him and have good experiences the timing can be a little messed up because of Corona but definitely recommend

I've been involved with Doctor Mohney for years. As always, everything was just fine. I've said this in past reviews. You are treated like a person, and not a number. That in itself is hard to find. Dr. Mohney and his staff are excellent professionals.

I don't usually write reviews, BUT... I might as well try to save some locals a tension headache. The staff here are AWEFUL!!!!! If you have any concerns do not ask to speak to the office manager. If they let you speak with her, she'll be VERY RUDE and Unprofessional. I have never come across a "professional'" with such disdain and disrespectfulness. Her behavior has clearly gone unchecked sooo long that she simply feels invincible. Overall, it is unfortunate that a medical facility would treat their constituents in such a manner. Be ware!!!!!
