The BEST Downriver church! Friendly and welcoming. So much going on and they really love kids! Our family just loves this place! God is moving here!

They host the women's BSF Bible study here and it is very nice.

The first time I walked in this place, I was greeted and felt the friendliness. The music and word of God was accurate information I built on and continue to grow.

I have called Southpoint Church my home church since 2005. I cannot get enough of serving at Southpoint. Words cannot describe how much Southpoint has helped me grow in my faith and my walk with Christ. It truly is a place of love, worship, discipleship and growth! Thanks Brett for answering Gods call so long ago!!

Absolutely the best church around. My whole family has grown so much in our relationship with the lord since we started attending Southpoint last year. Everyone is so welcoming and we look forward to coming every week.

I absolutely love Southpoint! From the moment I walked in the door 7 years ago and was welcomed with a smile, I knew I was home. It just got better and better with amazing music and great messages that you can easily relate to your life today. We have been going since my son was 2 years old. He is now 9 and 1/2. I now serve in the Children's Ministry with 1st graders and absolutely love to see the difference God is making on these kids each and every week. I have never felt more at home then I do at Southpoint. My son loves to serve along with me anytime he gets a chance. Southpoint is truly a great place whether you are single, single with kids, married, married with kids or grandparents. Whatever you situation, come as you are. All are welcomed and loved here.

Everyone was so genuinely kind and You can tell God is at the Center of this Church Family!

They teach from the Bible, exactly how the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit wanted it to be. They have a fantastic age appropriate child program starting from three years old. They also have child care from infants on up. PLEASE COME.

I have been attending for over a year and a half and I have been a member for about a year at the time of this review. I was raised Catholic and converted to Presbyterianism when I got married. Our family struggled to find a church that fit our needs. We found Southpoint Community Church and they instantly opened their our arms to our family. I have grown up around many churches, but this community of believers hands down goes out into the greater community to do good work more than any other church I have ever belonged to.

One of the things that struck a chord with me was when we met Brett, the founding minister, and he stated that he welcomes newcomers (I have never been to a more open and friendlier place) and hopes that they are challenged by what they see and hear at Southpoint. I can honestly say that we have been challenged, we have accepted the challenged, and my family continues to grow as Christians. We have gained an awesome family.

If you have come from a tradition of religiousity, this place will definitely challenge you to shed that tradition and become more of a follower of Christ. If you do not come from any background of faith, I am positive you will find a different sort of challenge. Either way, check out Southpoint Community Church at either one of our campuses (Trenton or Allen Park). You have nothing to lose and everything to gain!

Absolutely LOVED the Sermon on June 2nd.Really needed that message. Kids program well orchestrated from beginning to end. My Grand children enjoy every minute of junior church. Not impressed with the club lighting (darkness) during worship.

I absolutely loved Labor Day weekend service. When it first started I was skeptical but it turned out to be a nice change of pace. The interaction between Bret and Mark, along with the message was AWSOME. Thanks

I love this place! Get God's word, make great friends and be encouraged by others in the faith. What a great family to be a part of, three campuses and more to come, it's so cool to be a part of what God's doing in Downriver. You should really check it out! Oh and they have a great next generation ministry, Young Adults (Engage) all the way down to children's ministries for you to get plugged in with.

The people there are amazing and are so kind. They host fun events, and are very welcoming.

Awesome service and the pastor was Phenomenal. We went on a Sunday night and the service was on fire. The church family were very welcoming. The music and atmosphere was great. Everyone was dressed comfortable. It was a huge praise party and the Young pastor delivered a word! Stop by for a visit if you're ever in the area.

Great church with great kids programs and activities!

If you want to be connected to Jesus through music and don't worry about dressing to the nines come as you are. Enjoy fellowship, and make new friends. All kinds of classes to join if you are interested in studying. Thank you Jesus for letting me find this church.

The children's ministry is fantastic. The volunteers really care. My kids have learned so much.

Been going to services for less than a year, but they are such a welcoming, caring group of people. They really make you feel like a part of the Church from the first visit. I also like the fact that they are Bible based, so their is no "doctrine". And there are so many ways to get involved in the Church itself, as well as ways to get involved with community outreach & ministry. They work with area homeless shelters, food banks, crisis pregnancy centers, etc. It's truly a place that is doing God's work.

Southpoint is great at including so many young people serving on ministry teams. Blessings on Southpoint,it's staff, and all that attend!

We have been members of Southpoint for about 4 years now and we believe that this group of Christians serves others, worships God and reaches out to unbelievers in a truly unique and effective way. The people are warm and friendly and we call many of them "friends", but they are really more like family to us. We're not perfect, just walking this journey through life with other imperfect people, trying to follow Christ in our daily lives. We feel very fortunate to call Southpoint our church home.

Southpoint is a wonderful church. Pastor Bret and his team are killing it.

They are real as it gets when it comes to speaking and spreading the love of God and his word!

We love Southpoint. It s the only Church my husband will attend. We ve tried a few others and we both decided Southpoint is our home Church.

This is a very beautiful building. But that all that it is. I have attened many of services on Saturday evening. Only to be disappointed.. The band sing all the songs too slow. If they can't sing a song the way it should be, Then I feel they have a lot of young talent in their church that they should bring that young talent up on the stage and let them play . That would get the younger generation more involved in the church. Would bring more of the younger crowds in. I feel that the band that is there doesn't have the spirit inside of them. The main pastor.. Is very bland, and monotone. When hes done with the service, hes asking for a ton of money at the end of the service. This is a very disappointing church.. Need to Re evaluate.. And bring some more spirit to their people.. It not only in their song but in their message as well. When we leave that church we should feel that Jesus juice inside of us.. The only thing we leave with is a bland feeling.. Nice House nobody home.

I can only speak to the Bible Study Fellowship I attend there weekly. It's all women. So my rating is for that being held within those walls.

Going to Southpoint Church the past 5 years has been AMAZING!! This is a church where everyone belongs. You'll find peace and encouragement and love there. The love of God is like no other!!

Truly a "come as you are church"! The church isn't a place for perfect people, it's a place for messed up people that need Jesus! Your heart and your life will be changed by Him! I have been coming to Southpoint for almost 8 years now. Truly I would be lost without my church family and faith! I learned Gods truth here more then I ever have in my life! God truly moves through this place! To God be the glory! All in His name is done here!
