I m a transporter I have come here twice to bring boats and the staff here is great super friendly awesome people!!!!

Just purchased my first boat from South Shore Marine. The South Shore Team has been great to deal with. I will highly recommend them to everyone I talk with.

Bought a 2003 Cobalt boat was at a great price totally gone thru Prop serviced/ complete tune up / oil change and filter / out drive serviced new pump and painted/ new Bilge pump / buffed and waxed to my liking/ all safety equipment included. Gas in tank . Had a great summer with it no problems. Went to Canada / Islands /Cedar Pointe /Down Town Cleveland/ Fireworks in Lorain / Air Show much more . Total experience was Awesome. Tks Chris

Found my dream boat at South Shore Marine. Worked with Tom to get the price, financing and trade prices needed to make the deal work. Can't even tell you how easy they were to work with. I will be upgrading in 2-3 years and will only buy the next boat from Tom again. if you can use them do it you will like the experience.

Their slogan is "First Class Boats", I would add First Class Operation! Across the board, a winning combination of friendly service and value within their organization!

Although our experience with South Shore Marine is in its fledgling stages, we have full confidence in their services. We just recently purchased a Grady White 228 Seafarer. My family and I recently purchased a house on Marblehead and we were in a the market to purchase a boat. After talking to many people about where to go , the name South Shore Marine in Huron kept coming up as a great place with a great reputation of honesty integrity and customer satisfaction. We went there and worked with Tom several different times and we really had no idea what we wanted , but through his guidance we ended up purchasing a brand-new Grady White 307 dual console boat. We love it. Through this whole process I can tell you that everyone we had dealings with at South Shore Marine was professional courteous. Tom and his team are a first class organization. There are many questions in shopping for a boat on line , however SouthShore description of there boats , there professionalism is way above par.
Deciding to make a 3 hour drive from Michigan , it was evident , pulling into the Dealership how clean it was. First impressions are so important.
The boat was pulled inside for viewing , and was as clean as the photos. My wife noticed a few small imperfections in the trim , and was immediately reassured it would be taken care of.
The process was very smooth, professional and must say we felt very confident about are decision.
Although we bought the boat late in the season without a sea trial , ( crazy I know) boat was delivered to our marina and is waiting patiently till next year to run in the fresh water of Lake St Clair..

Our first meeting with the SS team was at the Cleveland boat show and we weren't quite ready to trade in our current boat. I am from the east coast and bought a brokerage boat through South Shore Marine. They are a TOP NOTCH OUTFIT!! The website is well laid out and had bios on all of its staff, giving me a great degree of comfort knowing who I was dealing with.. I met Tom Mack the owner whom I found to be friendly, pleasant and easy to work with. In moving through the process, I also worked with Ted, Scott and Tyson all of whom I felt represented this company well. E-mails and updates were timely, Boat delivery was seamless and 1 day ahead of schedule!! Overall it was a first rate experience!!!!

Just took delivery of a 2016 from Steve Carlson at SSM. Steve was very patient with us. We had him show us boats from several manufacturers and he is very knowledgeable about every one of them. It took us a month to make a decision and Steve was kind enough to answer all of our many questions along the way. He also new everything about the Garmin and Cisco products that we rigged the boat with. I my opinion this place is a FIRST CLASS operation.

We just bought our second Grady, a 2020 375 Freedom from South Shore! Truly a world class dealership with an outstanding team! Our salesperson, Mike Pasadyn, worked with my wife and I to make sure we both got what we wanted and needed with our purchase. Ted Melching helped us secure financing which was better than we expected. Bryan Collins in service made sure all the rigging and additions we wanted were installed perfectly. After delivery, any issues I had, Mike and Bryan made sure solutions were found and implemented in a timely fashion. I have even texted Sky Mielki, Yamaha master technician, from the water with an engine question and he helped me identify what I was doing wrong. I appreciate South Shore s attention to detail, service, and follow through. I highly recommend South Shore and Grady-White! I promise you won t be disappointed!

Fantastic Service as usual! They put in the extra effort to get you back on the water. We have purchased our boat from them and only use them for repairs as well. Called them at 5:30pm Friday, and had a tech on our boat at 8am Saturday morning, then back running by 9am. Thanks for the great service!!!!

South Shore Marine is truly a first class operation. I just purchased a 2017 Key West from them. Their staff is extremely helpful, friendly, and low pressure. The prep work they do on the boats they sell is second to none. This is the second boat I've bought there, and I'd recommend them to anyone.

My wife and I have been enjoying events at South Shore Marine for several years, so when we were ready to purchase a boat we expected first class service and we were not disappointed. Mike Pasadyn, our salesperson, was excellent. He arranged to have the boat (brokered by South Shore) available inside (November 2014) for our viewing several times. After the purchase Mike spent a great deal of time on the "sea trial" with us. We both feel South Shore and especially Mike Pasadyn went beyond what would be
normally expected.

We recently needed service that required our boat to be pulled out of the water for a repair.
They were professional, fast and very fair.

I bought a Formula from South Shore. I asked them to buff the boat before delivery. The told me it was $1000.00 and I agreed. I received a call stating it needed a 3rd stage buffing. I agreed. After seeing the boat during delivery the bottom was filthy and not even wiped down. I called and was told the bottom is not part of the hull. WHAT??

Complete scam artists. Tom Mack promised our boat would sell over the winter for the price listed under his guidance only for him to bring us in, and lower the price 10K in the spring to sell to some customer who hade been looking for over 3 months. When the deal closed, we not only had to pay him 15K on top of what he made selling us the boat in 2014. Tom Mack would not lower the brokerage rate...he is very greedy, and could not provide documentation of the advertising dollars he claims to spend on your boat. Advise to all...DO NOT list your boat with South Shore Marine.

I recently purchased a new Grady-White 255 Freedom from South Shore Marine. By far this was the best buying experience I have ever had! I worked with Mike Pasadyn whose boat knowledge is off the charts! The day I arrived; he already had the 255 on a trailer ready to go for a test run. Mike has been with me throughout the entire process including ensuring my add-ons were done appropriately and timely. I couldn t be happier with all the recommendations he made! I continue to use Mike as a valuable resource for winter storage and to ensure I am keeping up with the needed scheduled maintenance. I even hit him up for a few Lake Erie fishing tips! In addition to Mike, the finance department is excellent. They were able to beat the interest rates and insurance quotes I obtained. The service department is outstanding. The craftmanship for installing my Cisco planer board system and bottom paint can t be beat!! I am extremely happy with the service at South Shore Marine! Mike Pasadyn worked diligently and faithfully with our questions and interest in this boat leading to our decision that this was a great opportunity to purchase a well cared for one owner example. The boat was sold and serviced by South Shore and we gained confidence through Mike's thorough presentation that we should not pass up this opportunity. My experience with SSM has been AWESOME. From the first day I showed interest in the boat I received text messages and video's via test from Tom which was super helpful considering that I live in New York. The team at SSM accommodated the surveyor and made sure every last detail was resolved before closing the deal. Financing and registration with Ted was a breeze. The icing on the cake was today's hour long face-time call with Tom where he gave me a tutorial on every single feature on the boat. Truly was a pleasure doing business.

I worked with Chris Kedas and South Shore Marine on purchasing a used boat listed by them. The deal had some unforeseen circumstances come up, but Chris handled everything with the upmost class and professionalism. Even though things did not work out, I could not recommend Chris and South Shore Marine any higher! I could not be more impressed with Chris and the operation there, and you can trust Chris and the team at South Shore to take the highest care of you (which is not something that can be easily said about other operations I have dealt with with buying a used boat! ).

These guys are great. They gave me extra time to work out a trip from Nashville to Huron and when I got to their shop, everything was in order, the boat was ready, and I was on my way home. Kudos to Mike and Ted and the rest of their crew. Mark M.

Wish I could give Zero Stars .South Shore Marine sold one of our boats on a broker trade. They flat out lied to us to earn the opportunity of our sale. We paid $20,000 for storage and winterization charges in the winter of 2014-2015 for 2 boats. When we asked about a reduced brokerage fee in the spring of 2015 because of all the money we spent that winter, they said it was negotiable and they would work with us when they sold the boat. The boat sells and they refuse to budge on the fee. The fee was $10,000. There were numerous issues through the sales process that I believe stemmed from lack of experience or maybe a lack of caring. The website was never correct for the information about out boat. For an entire month after a contract fell through on our boat they had a banner on the website that said "sale pending" I believe this would detour people for looking at our boat. They lost a great customer that would have frequented their establishment for many years. They also lost the opportunity to sell our 2nd boat, which sold in record time, by their competitor. They also lost the opportunity to broker the sale of our recently purchased boat. Not a business I would recommend to anyone.

My wife and I recently closed on a 2018 Back Cove 41 with South Shore Marine, and could not be happier with the experience. Chris Kedas was fantastic to work with from start to finish. He was always responsive to our many questions during the purchase, sea-trial, and closing, managing the entire transaction with complete calm and flair (at least from our perspective!). I credit Chris (in conjunction with our broker, Joyce Richards from Boston Yacht Sales) with keeping the purchase process from coming unhinged. Thank you Chris! We were shopping for "new to us" boats from private sellers when I came across an amazing looking pre-owned boat at South Shore Marine. After meeting Tom and looking through the boat, we new we were in the right place. The amount of service and prep, preventative maintenance, along with their mechanics thoroughness of going through this boat that was traded in was amazing. I felt like I was buying a brand new boat. We sat down with Ted and worked through the deal, set up financing, and insurance quotes, and Ted was just as friendly and helpful as Tom was. When it came time to do our orientation we met Shane, who did our sea trial and went through the entire boat with my wife and I, and my 2 sons. Shane answered every question, was patient, and super friendly during the whole process. After finding a couple minor things that needed addressed during the orientation, Tom and Shane assured us that they would be remedied immediately. My family felt like we had been a customer of SSM for years, even though it was our first purchase through them. I cannot compliment enough, the friendliness, the thoroughness, and the professionalism of Tom and his staff at South Shore Marine. Wow! What a great team at South Shore Marine!! My wife and I just completed a certified trade with South Shore Marine by trading in our previous boat and making the purchase of a "like new" 41 Cantius. The process was seamless and effortless with the end result a nearly flawless vessel with a very short punch list from the boat inspector that almost mirrored South Shore Marine's own punch list. Chris Kedas in sales has sold us 3 vessels over 10 years and is extremely knowledgeable and patient. The finance manager, Ted Melching, works his magic with his lenders. Bryan Collins and Dan Klonk go the extra mile managing the service department and warranty department respectively. Captain Will seemed to have an endless amount of time to answer all my questions during the orientation and keeping me from crashing into the rocks (not to mention he's a genius with restoring teak). The
condition of this boat is absolutely amazing, which is testimony to the outstanding team that the owner, Tom Mack, has assembled.

We met the South Shore sales representatives for the first time at the Cedar Point Boat Show in 2014. We were thoroughly impressed with their professionalism and the quality of the used boats they had in their inventory. After an exhausting search for the perfect boat for my family, we found it at South Shore. We looked at plenty of boats in plenty of states, but we used South Shore Marine as the benchmark for what we were looking for. Nothing compared to the cleanliness of the boats and the comfort of having a vessel that was inspected and certified.

Diane and I just purchased the new Pursuit 355 Offshore, the 3rd boat (4th if you include our Zodiac inflatable!) in the past 6 years from South Shore Marine. I just bought another boat through SSM and Tom Mack. I had bought a SSM brokerage boat in the spring of 2012 with good results. I just traded that boat in for another boat that was a SSM trade.
