This company is terrible! I m being billed for service I didn t receive and am being told it s because I broke contract so I am still being billed for a month and a half of no service. I spoke with customer service before I moved and they told me that I couldn t transfer service to another person so I told them I would keep the service until my contract was up but they disconnected service anyway. Just to clarify, I emailed customer service before moving to ask about the cost of disconnecting. Never once did I ask them to disconnect my service. Then when I spoke with someone about the disconnect she told me that because it was a mess up on their end I would be let out of the contract and not be billed. I m still receiving bills from this months later and customer service is no help. If I had known I would be penalized for moving and would not be let out of contract I would have never used this internet company!

Honestly.... it s just plain O.K., I m frustrated all the time the WiFi cuts out and turns on and off. The upload speed and download speed of this provider has not earned my trust! It keeps going up and down and sometimes completely loses connection. We contacted support and all they said was were working on an issue but they haven t fixed it in over a month! It used to be good, but I don t know what happened to this provider. Get your act together SCC! This problem occurs here in Page, AZ.

Roughly a year ago I had a change request regarding my internet connection (I was setting up a little webserver for family and friends to store and exchange home and vacation pictures) and South Central was very accommodating, implementing the change in a day or so. Since then, everything has been working just perfect.
Last Friday however someone at SCC made a change that broke my settings and the URL was no longer working. This morning I called SCC, went through the menu options, all of our reps , click, I had reached a service rep after waiting a second or two. The conversation:
Good morning, this is David, how can I be of assistance? Explained the problem. Ah yes, I understand; I can see from the notes what Bill did then, let me reach out to him; please hold . Less than a minute (!) later, without the usual annoying elevator muzak, You re still there? The problem is resolved and your old setup restored .
I was flabbergasted, no pleading, no it ll hopefully be fixed by the end of the week or so, nope, solved instantly. This is by far the best service I ve ever had.
David M., here s a very well deserved 11 on a scale of 1 to 10, and note that is after I deducted one point for SCC making a change that broke my settings to begin with.

I made an appointment 2 weeks ago. Said they would give me a confirmation call. Never did. Just called again and they are making me wait longer, even with me being a student and needing internet for homework. They blamed it on the customer and made me feel awful. If it wasn t for my house only being set up for south central and I would go anywhere else. Warning don t go to them. Only thing good about them is the short phone wait time. Hopefully their internet is better than their customer service.

I've left SoCen few years ago due to spotty internet service as mentioned in other reviews, but I've decided to try it again. We live in a rural area and the service here is phenomenal. It's been a weeks since we've had it installed and it has not dropped once. Did I mentioned it's 5G? We have 5+ devices connected and not a lag in service when streaming. Alissa with billing and Sophia at Tech. Support have been awesome. Well done, SoCen! I'm impressed

This is the worst communications organization imag...

This is the worst communications organization imaginable. Daily they fail, every little tweak in the weather they collapse -- what is wrong with this dreadful organization? Sure as heck wish we had an alternative because they are lousy to the max.

We have had south central internet going on 2 year...

We have had south central internet going on 2 years now and I must say , they are fantastic . I have zero complaints. For a little over 6 months we lived in a very remote area (a good 30 minutes out of phone service ). We relied on internet to be able to make phone calls from our house. South central came right out (quite a drive for the tech , out on rough dirt road) and got us hooked up. When we ran into connection issues later on, they came out that very day and got us back up and running. The staff has bent over backwards to make sure we have internet every time we move, they have been so pleasant to deal with. And the internet connection is always good !
