Wow!! Beautiful campus, wonderful people, after the experience today & even though 4 hours away from home,. I feel if my daughter is going away for school, this is the perfect one for her to attend.
Literally ruined my Christmas because instead of contacting me about the money I owed for breaching my contract, they sent it to collections. Then as I called, I had rude people on the phone laughing at my trouble over this and they just kept transferring my call. So honestly, thanks ABAC for ruining my Christmas since now I have to pay a big amount. Nothing but a small community college with the worst staff. Wish I had never even stepped my foot onto this campus. Disgusting.

Abac is the worst ive ever delt with having to deal with financial aid and housing! For the 3 years that ive been there they have messed one thing or another up every time! Most of the professors are horrible execpt for a few that acutly care for students.. But thoes are few and far between!
At orientation ABAC promises you that they are the best school in the world with the friendliest teachers and the best clubs and activities. However soon after you get there you realize that the teachers are just there for the paycheck and care little to none about your success. Then the boredom hits you cause all of the "clubs" have no one in them or conflict with your class schedule. ABAC is just smoke and mirrors and is just a community college disguised as a university.
Great campus to visit, especially when you need a good, safe space to play Pokemon Go!
I attended ABAC for a brief period to try something new, after I already have a Criminal Justice degree, about six months ago. And it was my understanding that when you go to the book store anything you purchase gets charged to the student account. You then can borrow loans from the state to pay for this account which I did. Six months after I stopped going to ABAC I get an email saying there was a hold on my account. So I called The financial aid staff and talked to what sounded like an older lady. I asked why I had a hold of $99 and some change. She said when I stopped going to ABAC there was a refund of $99 that I spent at the book store so it was charged to my account. I was confused because I figured my loans would have paid for it and then I just pay my loans off. I also looked up my loan account and didn t see a change in them. All I asked her to do on the phone was explain it a little better when she tells me You are not entitled to $99 . That infuriates me when someone accuses me of being entitled because my whole I work for everything I had. I have paid for everything myself out of my own pocket since high school. My own first college degree was straight cash. And for this lady to accuse me of thinking I m just an entitled kid is totally unprofessional when all I m asking for is a little explanation. She obviously can t explain it that well. The staff at this school is not like staff at other colleges I ve attended, just rude and inconsiderate. I do not recommend this school to anyone, they will do anything to get an extra $99 from you because apparently ABAC really needs the money.

ABAC = STAY BACK......unless you want a quality education that you have to earn and that you can't buy or sweet talk your way through. Professors give back what you put in. Don't go to this school unless you're ready to become an adult.
I'm 13, my mother used to work at the cafeteria and it seems pretty cool. They have homes and its pretty big out there too. I'm looking forward in going there when I'm older.
The Financial Aid department needs to do better with explaining how the process works. They tell you little by little what you need to do in order to be able to receive financial aid, and it s ridiculous. Because of that, I wasn t even able to receive financial aid. That s one problem with ABAC. Another issue is the bookstore supervisor, Tracy. She doesn t genuinely care about students at all. If there s a problem with a book or cap n gown, she ll make excuses as to why she thinks you don t deserve the problem to be fixed. She definitely doesn t believe in giving refunds if a student has the right to receive it.
I loved the atmosphere of the students and staff. I hope I will be attending this college next year. ABAC is a great school from what I have been told and from I've seen. I can't wait to be a Stallion!!

I don t know if it s because of the pandemic but you can never get anyone on the phone. There is definitely a lack of communication. You have to email everyone which then becomes irritating because you re continuously going back and forth about your problem and waiting for a response. I applied for the RN-BSN program back in March. I waited weeks and never received any Info/letter on whether I was accepted or denied. I was told by the program Director( Tamara Dennis) that letters of acceptance would be sent out the following week after reaching out. Weeks passed and still no letter. Reached out via email to the admissions team ( because no one answers the phone) requesting a letter of non attendance so that I could apply to another school- and surprisingly they informed me that I was accepted into the program. I informed them that I was told to wait on a letter of acceptance which is why I was unaware of my acceptance. I was CC d to several people and they all were emailing over each other and no one listened when I said I would stay with Abac. The only reason I applied to another school is because I had not received anything regarding acceptance. Being that I m ready to obtain my Bsn now I moved forward with another school. Lizzie from admissions who was CC d in the email stated she would withdraw my application after I clearly emailed back that I would continue with Abac. I also emailed Tamara Dennis separately and informed her that I was still interested in attending fall semester. Logged onto my portal today to find out my application has been withdrawn. This has been a terrible experience overall.
ABAC is a great place to go to college. The faculty and staff are some of the nicest people you'll meet and the campus is beautiful.
I love the atmosphere and campus. I move in on Saturday, I hope I will continue to love it.
The school is overall a 3 star institution for sure, the administration is absolutely positively dreadful. From admissions to financial aid you will have to chase people all the time to get anything done, and sometimes that isn't even enough.
There is one saving grace to this place, it is cheap, at least cheaper than some of the larger institutions in the state, that does matter when you are a college student, but that isn't why I'm giving this review an extra star.
The extra star on my review is for the the teachers, they weren't all perfect but let me tell you, some of them were good hard working people who really had a positive impact on me in the early years of my academic career, so this 4th star goes out to them.
So friendly it's like home and the campus is beautiful.
This school is very unprofessional. I have been calling the nursing department for weeks. Every time u call they send me to a voicemail. None of my calls have been returned. I send emails and still no reply! I would never recommend this school!
