South Boston Community Health Center Review

After reading a handful of the reviews I was very hesitant to come in, but I had a great experience. I went right when they opened but didn't have an appointment, and they were able to get me an appointment within the hour. Once I got to the waiting room, I waiting less than 10 minutes to be seen. Everyone was so kind and hospitable, and they were able to offer me a Covid test even though that's not what I was initially coming in for. I had an excellent experience with every single part of their staff!

Dr. David Harrison is the best doctor I have ever seen

Can t say enough positive things! Scheduled and had a COVID test here and every single person was SO beyond nice. I had no wait to be seen and was in and out in 5 minutes! I left a message for an appointment and someone got back to me to schedule within the hour. I am not one to leave reviews but during this time I can t imagine how overwhelmed and overworked our health care employees are and for them to still handle everything with such grace and professionalism was both impressive and appreciated.

INCOMPETENT!!!!

They called me gave me inaccurate test results, which is very serious!

I went back a month later for new testing because I just didn t trust it, now they re saying I need to come back for a new sample, when they can just admit they lost mines or left it out all night and day.

Horrible. Don t bother... you ll end up taking pills for something u don t have, or actually have something wrong and have no idea.

Got a covid vaccine here. The nurses were extremely friendly and the whole thing was very efficient. I got light headed after getting my shot and they gave me a snack and juice and let me lay down! Very hospitable!!

Susan and the crew of nurses and staff were so friendly, well organized and safety was definitely a priority for the SBHC Covid19 clinic. THANK YOU ALL

Absolutely terrible call center staff, failed to book appointments twice, constantly pawn you onto other staff members.

I can't sing their praises loud enough. They're efficient, clean, respectable, efficient, easy to deal with and easy to communicate with. I can't recommend them more highly. I changed here from Harvard Vanguard during covid. Had two covid tests, telehealth with my new pcp and bloodwork taken twice. Every experience has been fast, efficient and I'm always impressed at how organized they are. No one in the waiting rooms. You'll sit 5 seconds before they take you. Very good.

I have been going to the SBCHC for approximately 6 years. While the place isn't aesthetically pleasing, the people who work here are the best! They can always fit you in for an appointment. My primary care physician and my dermatologist are in the same building, it is a convenient location in the city with plenty of street parking. I rarely have to wait for my appointment and I am in and out quickly.

These people are unprofessional and extremely rude. Despite me having insurance they charged me 144$ for a 10 minute telehealth appointment. And they did it twice. Nothing but a rip off. Clinics are supposed to help people not suck them dry
