Sound By Design Review

We had DJ Ray from Sound by Design for our wedding in April 2018. We were very happy with the music. The dance floor was busy all night! He has a great personality and was very easy to work with.

So friendly, helpful and easy to work with! These guys are the BEST!

This review will not do justice explaining how amazing this company is. We booked Sound by Design for our wedding and our DJ (Dylan) not only read the crowd well enough to keep ALOT of people continuing to dance but made sure everything that we had asked for was executed flawlessly. Whatever event you may be having that could involve well trained and friendly DJ's, Sound by Design should be at the top of that list.

We heard about SBD when we lived near the original Camp Bar and realized that the owner of the bar also owned SBD. Shortly after learning this we attended a wedding that SBD DJed and had a great time! So when we got engaged two years later one of the first wedding planning decisions we made was to hire SBD as our DJ for our wedding. Let me say that we never regretted that decision for a minute! SBD was professional yet fun during all of the meetings we had prior to our wedding. Their website has practically any song you could imagine and they were sure to tell us that they could get any song they did not already have. It was very easy to load songs on to our personal playlist and you have the option to make songs a "must play" or "do not play". We also took advantage of their lighting rentals to decorate our venue a little more. The lights made a huge difference. We found out that our DJ would be Zach a month before our wedding and when we met him we were very confident in his abilities. We gave him a general idea of what kind of music we would like and basically let him run the show. He did a phenomenal job and our dance floor was bumpin!! We couldn't have asked for more.

Sound by design did not disappoint at our wedding this past weekend! TRENT and his assistant DJ were the PERFECT DJ's for our wedding. They kept the dance floor moving and had the perfect blend of all genres to get all age groups out on the dance floor. I don't remember one second that I personally wanted to leave the dance floor in fear I would miss ANOTHER good song! The whole process to ensure we got a DJ that matched our music vibe and personalities went so smooth with the access to an online portal to create a music list. We got to meet Trent in person before our wedding and could just tell how much he enjoys doing what he loves and knew he would have a blast with our wedding, which obviously showed because Trent and his assistant DJ had just as much of a ball dancing and jamming as everyone else did on the dance floor! Thank you so much for making our day exceptional, music is the way to our hearts and we couldn't have imagined it any other way!

We had our wedding this past weekend on June 3rd at The Coast in Milwaukee. We worked with Ben Wall. He was absolutely amazing! He worked with us to get all of the songs that we needed and wanted throughout the night. We had a diverse crowd of about 50% older family and 50% friends in their 20's. And the dance floor was full the entire night! All of our guests raved about how great the DJ was and how they had such a great time. Ben was great and I would highly recommend Sound by Design!

Sound by Design is without a doubt the best DJ company in Wisconsin. I first heard them at a friend's wedding and I immediately asked the DJ for his card because I just knew I had to have them at my own wedding. We hired them for our big day and we had the best dance party ever! They are extremely fun to work with and they make sure to match you with a DJ that fits your specific needs and music taste. Their music portal was easy to use and I was able to list some of my favorite songs that I wanted to hear and also let them know the songs I definitely did NOT want to hear! Our DJ was great about playing oldies/more classic songs at the beginning of the night and then slowly transitioning to more hip-hop/newer songs as the night wore on and younger crowd stuck around. They will definitely read the crowd and keep everyone dancing all night long! Our DJ was also helpful with mic setup and making sure everything was ready for the ceremony, speeches, etc. He even had some wonderful words of encouragement for my maid of honor when she let him know she was nervous to give her speech. Don't hesitate to hire them- they will make sure your wedding is a dance party to remember!

We absolutely loved having Trent as our wedding DJ. From the beginning, Sound by Design was responsive and thorough, and made me feel at ease throughout the whole wedding planning process. It was easy to request songs and pay our bill through the online portal. When we got assigned to Trent as our DJ, he carefully looked through our itinerary and requests, and was attentive during our conversation about the music we wanted for our day. On the day of our wedding, Trent did an AMAZING job. All of the music for our ceremony was seamless. He made appropriate announcements throughout the night, and was energetic and professional enough to get everyone's attention to help make our day go smoothly. He checked in with us several times to make sure things were going the way we wanted. As for the music and dancing at the reception, we could not have asked for more!! He played exactly the right songs to keep everyone dancing...we still had plenty of people on the dance floor for the very last song at midnight. So many people complimented our music and I attribute that to Trent's talents. We would highly recommend Sound by Design!!

We had Sound By Design DJ our wedding on April 28th at The Marq in De Pere and still have people telling us how much fun they were. Zach had the dance floor packed all night! They were very accommodating with everything we had asked them to do. Although they do have an online portal for you to submit your "Must Plays" and "Do not Plays," we pretty much left it up to Zach to feel out the crowd and do what he does best! I would highly recommend these guys to anybody looking for a DJ! So much fun!

We had Ben with Sound By Design and he was truly amazing! Before the wedding he was really on top of all our requests and was always available to talk about the things we wanted to happen on the day of

On the day of Ben really took our wedding to the next level. He played all of our requested songs, even though alot of them were custom requests and difficult to find. He made sure everyone was having a great time and he never even took a break. Everything about the service he provided was an A+ and we hope to be able to use him again someday soon!

Honestly, dont waste your time looking at other DJ's. sound by design knows what they are doing and can work with ANY venue. They are a young and fun professional bunch and I couldn't have picked a better vendor for our wedding. Everyone is still raving about how great the music was and how fun it made the night. EVERYONE was dancing-it was a great time and I have SBD to thank for that!

My daughter used them for her wedding on 12/15/18. The service and ability to keep the wedding and reception on track were top notch! My daughter had so many details and specific requests that were almost endless! They were able to accommodate all of her requests and the night was so fun! The DJ even helped me with packing things up at the end of the night. Talk about going above and beyond! I would highly recommend them for any event.

Sound by Design did an incredible job with our wedding reception music and lighting! We were thrilled that Zach was assigned as our DJ and he made the entire process smooth and stress-free. Zach really wanted to understand the type of vibe/ambience we were looking for, and he and his partner were spot on with the dinner music and had the dance floor packed the entire night! We literally had guests commenting that they ve never been to a wedding with such good music and a packed dance floor the whole night. We also had Sound by Design provide uplighting for the MAC ballroom, and simply told them to use their discretion on uplight placement and colors based on what they feel looks best. The ballroom was breathtaking and the lighting made such an impact in the photos. We will definitely work with Sound by Design for future events!

I would prefer if the DJs played recommendations from guests attending the wedding versus telling them, "maybe we will have time", brushing them off and ignoring the guests around them. Not the best experience.

I got married in October 2019 and I can not recommend these DJ s enough for your wedding! Our DJ, Trent, did an amazing job. The dance floor was packed the entire night. I have never seen a dance floor as full for so long at any other wedding I ve attended. Trent really found what worked for our guests but kept the music varied the whole night. Working with Sound By Design was a breeze, they do all the work for you and make it super easy to plan out your music.

Given the circumstances that everybody is going through with this pandemic, this company was not understanding at all. If you want a company that will care about providing the best for service for you and not just care about the money, I would consider checking someone else out. I understand everybody is at a loss with this situation but they tried to make more money out of this situation by charging extra since we had to change our venue due to the pandemic and current county orders.

Dylan absolutely killed it at our wedding! The music was ON point and the transition between songs was fantastic, better than what we could have asked for. A guest had asked Dylan to make a random announcement and on the fly he played the most perfect fitting song. People were raving about Dylan, his musical style was similar to our liking - has a wide variety and awesome playlists (see for yourself on Spotify!), playing every song we had requested. Would 10/10 recommend to anyone!

We use Sound By Design for every single event we throw, and we throw a lot! They are far and away the best of the best when it comes to the quality of their deejays, music selections, lighting, and overall package. Not in a million years would I even consider going anywhere else. If you're looking for a top notch experience, you've found the guys.

Sound by Design was great to work with. Ray was our DJ and made the process simple and fun. They provided us with a website that we could create a must play , do not play , and play if possible list that made making our playlist super easy and allowed us to make it personal to us and our guests. I cannot say enough good things about this company/vendor. My wife did a lot of the communicating with them prior to our wedding and we had a few in person meetings to go over things and ask about any issues/questions we had. On our wedding day we had Ben and another guy whose name escapes me and the whole time these guys were phenomenal. Super easy to work with and I only had 2 modifications that had to be made for the first dance and the father/daughter and mother/son dances and they didn t hesitate or question it and it was very last minute and they performed flawlessly. The setup they had within the venue was great and a lot of people came up to me after our wedding complementing then on the music performance and selection. I would recommend Sound by Design to everyone who asks.

My now husband and I have been to 10+ weddings together and never once have we seen a dance floor still entirely full at midnight! They kept everyone out there dancing, and the Photo Booth was a huge hit. Highly recommend!

Ray was our DJ for our wedding this weekend and he was wonderful. Really easy to work with and very friendly. Our group was mixed on music choices but they handled it really well early in the evening to keep people dancing and then got the party going late. We had tons of compliments and our guests loved how they danced along to the music too. They made it a great party!

Did an excellent job for our ceremony, was a little disappointed at the reception when the notes I had emailed prior to the wedding went to the wayside, such as the father/daughter dance being a little messed up and the request for no organized dances was ignored. Also, I know in part it had to do with the acoustics of the room, but it was very difficult to hear the speeches using the microphone. That being said, everyone had a great time and I would recommend this company for any event.

Sound By Design is the BEST DJ company in Milwaukee. I hired them for my wedding, and everything was fantastic. Our DJ, Max, was very professional, and he played all of our favorite music. The dance floor was never empty, and we got so many compliments on the music from our guests. We also had uplighting, which was a great addition to our decor. I am SO happy we went with Sound By Design. I highly recommend them if you want a fun and energy-filled wedding reception.

So grateful to have used Sound by Design as our videographer, uplighting and photobooth vendor for our wedding. They were always responsive and professional. Our videographer was Tony and he and his second shooter did such an amazing job on our wedding video. The uplighting and custom monogram for our wedding, which totally transformed our venue from average to amazing. Our photobooth (with boxwood hedge rented through SBD) was such a hit. One tweak I would make to the boxwood hedge is lining the back of it to avoid light coming through if it backs up to a light source.

Ray R., Josh E., and the entire team at Sound by Design were instrumental in creating our perfect wedding day! They were easy to work with, professional, and more than helpful with every question I had! They made sure everything throughout our dinner ran smoothly and naturally. Ray was able to take our favorite songs and incorporate them seamlessly into the day. Our guests were dancing all night! I would highly recommend Sound by Design to any bride and groom!

We used Sound By Design for our past wedding for DJ and videography and we are SO glad to have had them be a part of our day! Max & Dylan were our DJs and they kept the party going all night long! So many people said how amazing their services were and how much fun they had dancing! We also heard how this is the most fun wedding they've ever been to (including their own)! Also, the online portal was so easy to work with and is such a good tool for adding in song requests.

Tony & his video team were truly amazing. They captured so much of the wedding day and were so much fun to talk with. My husband was not on board with a videographer as he didn't see the need for one, but SBD proved him otherwise. He is so glad I got someone to capture our day so we can relive it over and over again. I can't wait to see the video!!

We used Sound by Design for our wedding DJ and we could not have been more impressed! Our DJ was Rick and he seriously exceeded all of our expectations. Our biggest fear was not having people on the dance floor at our wedding, and I don t even know what we were worried about. Rick had our floor hopping all night long! There was at least 20 people on the floor at all times. Rick and his assistant fed off our crowd to keep the party going and we could not have been happier.

SBD has you meet with your DJ about a month before your wedding so they get to know what you want. We loved having that time to sit down with Rick to get to know him. He made sure he knew exactly how we wanted our night to go, since he was going to be the emcee of the night. Additionally, he made sure to touch base with everyone who was giving a speech to go over microphone etiquette - which if you have a father like I do who talks way too loud, and way too much, you know how important that is. We are so glad we chose Sound by Design for our DJ and are so grateful we got Rick as our DJ. We could not have been more impressed.

We booked Sound By Design for our wedding with DJ and photobooth. They were amazing! Rick made our whole night easy and kept the party going! My family kept commenting on how awesome our DJs were. They also created a scrapbook from the photobooth which we will cherish forever. Thank you!!

Torie did a wonderful job DJing our wedding at The Grain Exchange! He really catered to the guests that were already on the dance floor. He was so flexible with the timeline for the evening as well. He also made sure that my husband and I were happy the entire evening, even coming over to show us the must play songs he didn t have a chance to play, and offering to play them at that time. Torie did a great job acknowledging who was making song requests- he played my mom and dad s requests immediately after they were requested. We had a great time planning at our initial meetings with both Torie and Dylan. We are so happy we chose to utilize the photo booth and uplighting options! We received so many compliments on the lighting and our guests had a blast in the photo booth!

They did an amazing job at our wedding. From our initial contact, to the final job, they were flawless. We sent Max Spotify playlists for our ceremony, cocktail hour and dancing. They played a ton of our songs, while playing to the crowd and mixing in what they knew goes over well. They didn't just play good music for dancing though. They seamlessly handled all aspects of the ceremony, the speeches and it showed that they were pros. I would recommend them to anyone. Thanks for making our wedding day perfect!

We are so happy we hired Sound by Design. We had Dylan as our DJ and he was amazing all night. He was joking around with the wedding party and was open to suggestions from us on music choices. He also made sure that the party kept going all night long by reading the room and playing a wonderful selection of songs. Loved them! They played the exact type of music we requested and I got commented from several guests on how great the music was. The photo booth was also a major hit. I got married in October of 2014 at the Hot Water Wherehouse in Milwaukee. It is a salsa club so it has all the lighting and sound needed, we just needed the DJ personality and computer equipment. Because we had the necessities, the company gave us a huge discount, which is amazing! After meeting with DJ Scott the first time, I knew we were in good hands. He was AMAZING! At the wedding EVERYONE was on the dance floor the WHOLE night. He would check in with us on a few occasions on music choice. He even came out with my husband and wedding party after for a few drinks. I would HIGHLY recommend this company and request DJ Scott!!

Nathan at Sound by Design did a wonderful job DJ'ing our wedding. He kept us on track for our planned speeches and dances, while also managing to get a large number of our guests to utilize the dance floor for most of the night.

When we were on our way to review the event with Nathan, I had it in my mind I did NOT want a photo booth. Instead of a traditional box with gag props, Sounds by Design sets up a photo area and uses those photos to create your guest book. For a little more than what we may have spent on the guest book alone, we ended up going with the photo booth and I couldn't be happier that we did. Our guest book that we received at the end of the night will provide us years of joy that a traditional guestbook could never provide.

If you can request Nathan to run your event, I highly recommend you do so.

My husband and I booked Sound By Design for our wedding reception, and they were incredible! They were highly professional in the planning process, and Mateo our lead DJ took the time to understand my husband's and my music preferences ahead of the event. The pre-work paid off, and all throughout the reception people kept talking about how on-point the DJ's music choice was during our wedding. They did a great job of playing to vibe of the dance floor, and our friends and family had a fun time dancing to the last possible minute at our wedding. They have a modern approach to DJ'ing, which made the reception feel special and unique to us without a cookie cutter wedding playlist feel. They also took the stress out of MC'ing our event, making sure the reception flowed smoothly, and it was easy for our speakers to present their speeches. Sound By Design is definitely worth the investment. If you choose them, they would provide you an awesome DJ experience and would take a lot of stress out of your big day.

Sound By Design is by far the best wedding DJ around! Our dance floor was jam packed with friends and family from the first song all the way through the encore song at the end! The most important part of our wedding was the dance party, and I can say without a doubt that the music and dance party could not have been any better. Joe was amazing through the whole day! Definitely the best wedding DJ I have ever heard! Not only did they keep a large crowd on the dance floor all night, but they were extremely professional. They contacted me a couple of weeks before my wedding and had an hour long meeting going through the details for the whole day. Sound by Design provided the music and lighting for my wedding at the Grain Exchange last weekend. AMAZING job. The dance floor was packed the whole night (I mean the WHOLE night...everyone was disappointed when the lights went back on). Torie and co. were my DJs and they are super organized and attentive to client's wishes. Torie and I had many conversations via e-mail and phone prior to the event, and he was very dedicated to making the evening a blast. He touched base with me through the night (not in an annoying way) to make sure that all was going as I had hoped it to. These DJs can really read the crowd! There is definitely a reason they are in such high demand--they are worth EVERY penny!

Sound By Design made my wedding the absolute best I could imagine. Planning a 4-month engagement is not easy, but with the Sound By Design guys they took a lot of the stress away! Working with Josh throughout the whole process made everything a breeze and he made sure we stayed on top of our dates and meetings. Torie walked us through packages and made choosing the right one for us an easy decision. They provided the uplighting, which had more colors to choose from than I thought possible! It enhanced the already beautiful venue into a stunning and personalized space.

The DJ, which utilized music to create an intimate vibe during the cocktail and dinner portion, produced a fantastic show for the dancing which included a light show and personalized playlists that every age enjoyed. The DJs at Sound By design truly want your day to be wonderful, starting from the moment you have your first one-on-one meeting with them all the way to the end of the wedding night. The MC portion was used at my wedding for introducing the wedding party, speeches, dinner info, first dance, mother/father dances, and garter/bouquet toss etc.

The photobooth they set up was a great catch with all the guests! The wide range of props sure made it into every photo! The best part was that each picture was printed twice. One for the guest to take home, and one was placed into a photo album that was provided. We used this as our guest book and will enjoy looking back at what guests wrote next to their picture!

Sound By Design also provided me videography services that are at the top of the industry. Tony worked with us, along with a second videographer. We first met one-on-one with a personalized appointment so that he could get to know us and learn what we hope for in the video. Then on the wedding day, Tony starting filming from the early morning hair and makeup preparations all the way through the evening dancing. His keen eye for angles and awareness of perfect visual opportunities makes his work a piece of art. I can not wait to see the finished products which include a feature film, a highlight film, additional full coverage files & flash drive. I highly recommend SBD for your next event!

Sound By Design is owned by the same people as The Atrium, an event venue where my reception was held. All the equipment is already present creating a cohesive environment!

Sound by Design was an absolute joy to work with for our wedding reception! Josh, Joe (our DJ), and their team are absolute professionals who know how to through a party and keep people dancing! Aside from great music selections, Joe did a beautiful job setting up the wireless lighting and pin-spots that made our reception venue that much more stunning! We also utilized their photo booth option, which our guests had a TON of fun with, and we got to take home an album that very night with copies of everyone's photos and written notes from our guests. I HIGHLY recommend Sound by Design to anyone and everyone!

We used Sound By Design for both our DJ and Photo booth services for our wedding at Birch! Zach, our DJ, did an AMAZING job maintaining the flow of the evening as our MC for the night. He also did an INCREDIBLE job with the music during the dancing portion of our reception. The dance floor was packed all night long! Our guests also RAVED about the photo booth. It was so fun receiving the physical album of all the pictures, as well as we loved posting all the photos on Facebook for guests to see! I cannot recommend SBD enough!

We had a fantastic reception with Trent and Joe from Sound By Design. We live in New York and were planning a wedding in Madison - which wasn't an easy task. Two of our friends had Sound By Design as their wedding DJ's and we knew we wanted to follow in their footsteps. I can't put into words how great Sound By Design was for our wedding! They were the absolute best people to work with. I wish we could give 6 stars! Parker was terrific as DJ/MC at our daughter's recent wedding reception at the Wisconsin Club. Parker kept the venue moving and the guests jazzed throughout the night. He did a great job introducing the bridal party and acting the MC role with energy and professionalism.

Beforehand, he edited a couple songs for the Mother/son and Father/daughter dances, which went seamlessly. Can't recommend these guys enough.

My husband and I chose to use Sound by Design as our wedding DJ and they truly exceeded our expectations. We were matched with Dylan, who did an absolutely amazing job and was such a pleasure to work with. From our first meeting to our wedding day, the team was professional, timely, and supportive. Dylan took the time to go through our timeline minute by minute to be sure that all details were covered. He did a great job of playing music that was reflective of my husband and I throughout the entire day. The dance floor was full for the entire evening and we received so much positive feedback about the DJ and the dancing portion of our wedding. We also used Sound by Design for uplighting in our reception space, which was absolutely beautiful. We honestly couldn t have asked for anything better!

Scott was the DJ at my best friends wedding this past August and while I wish I could give a better review I was sorely disappointed with how he handled himself at the ceremony.

As my friend was on her way out the door for her first look with her husband to be he stopped her mid-stride to discuss the weather and the fact that they would not be able to set up their equipment in the rain. While my friend would never say a bad word about anyone, I will boldly state it was poor wedding etiquette on his part.

He then made it clear he did not prepare adequately for the rainy forecast, and would not be setting up his equipment for the planned outdoor ceremony. Two groomsmen took control of the situation and left 20 minutes prior to the ceremony to retrieve an EZ-up to rectify his ill planning so the bride and groom would not be without music for their ceremony.

I understand there is no controlling the weather. But when you know rain is in the forecast and you've been hired for an outdoor wedding, you better plan appropriately. The photographer had no issue being outside with thousands of dollars of equipment to do the job she was hired for so I don't know why Scott could not do the same especially when he could have planned to bring his own rain cover.

Where do I start? From our very first meeting, the staff was incredibly friendly and informative. Dylan did a wonderful job of explaining our options and showing us how to put together our perfect playlist. Our DJ, Trent, was phenomenal. The music during our ceremony was timed perfectly and he kept my guests dancing all night. He kept us on schedule and made transitions between music and speeches very smooth. He even hosted trivia during our cocktail hour and kept score for each team! The lighting was also beautiful and added that extra something to our venue. Overall, they went out of their way to make sure our wedding day was perfect. I couldn't have asked for more!

I've enjoyed working with Sound by Design! Every staff member that we have interacted with have been extremely knowledgeable and very easy to talk with and explain the vision that we had! It was too easy! Trent was the main Dj that was assigned for our wedding and he kept the party pumping! I enjoyed all the music at various stages, it was exactly how we imagined it and he made sure every guest was enjoying the celebration as well. The dance floor was packed! Sound by Design have a reputation as the best DJs in the Milwaukee area, and they did not disappoint. We worked with David and Anthony, and they did an amazing job. The dance floor was hopping all night, and so many of our guests remarked on how great the music was and how much fun they had dancing. Sound by Design also allowed a ton of customization and input as far as which songs we wanted played, and they did a great job MCing the event as well. We recommend them very highly!

My husband and I were so impressed with Sound By Design on our wedding day. We used their DJ and lighting services. Our DJ, Torie, was awesome. They provided services for the ceremony and reception. The music was perfect for the ceremony - was timed well and on point. At the reception people were dancing before dancing was even set to begin! The music was right on point with what we wanted for each part of the evening. We even gave Torie the difficult task of multiple mother-son dances which he tackled flawlessly and seamlessly integrated the songs. Every song we wanted was played, all names were pronounced correctly, and the dance floor was full all night. The lights looked beautiful - we had up lighting throughout the venue and cafe bulbs over the head table. Thank you Torie and Sound by Design for being a huge part of our wedding day!

Dylan was our Sound by Design DJ for our December wedding. We couldn't have been happier. He did the music for our ceremony and reception. We got to make a playlist and it was a great jumping off point. My husband, who is the big music person, even commented that Dylan played some of his favorite songs based on other songs we chose for the playlist. Such a pleasant experience. We had multiple generations on the dance floor the whole night. Dylan made sure our day was super personalized and special and that 'The Chicken Dance' did not get played! :)

We hired Sound By Design for our wedding for both music and up-lighting. They did a FANTASTIC job! Mateo was our lead DJ and kept the music flowing seamlessly the entire night. The dance floor was packed! I would recommend them to anyone!

Ray was outstanding! I cannot say enough good things about him. I met with him before the wedding. As I tried to describe the mood and songs I wanted throughout the night he played songs and made suggestion that were right now, I felt at ease immediately. Ray answered all of my questions quickly, even the one about the microphone the night before the wedding. Thanks again Ray!
Ray handled the ceremony beautifully. Especially transitioning from the ceremony to the reception space, walking distance but still a feat with the equipment.
Ray played all of my requests, even one I requested twice. Everyone was out on the dance floor. We received so many compliments on how great he was. Toward the beginning of the night he played my requests and as the older people let out he the grooms request (rap music). My husband raved about him. He even got some of my husband's friends out on the dance floor that I have never seen dance.
Everyone cannot stop talking about the photo Booth! It was a blast! I loved the pictures and the online pictures. The photo booth ran smoothly and rarely had a line.

Hiring Sound by Design for our wedding was the first thing we did after we booked our venue! We knew their reputation as the best DJ company in Milwaukee, as we received multiple recommendations from engaged friends, and experienced their talent first hand at a couple of those friend's weddings. We love to dance at weddings, and having great music that fits our own personal style and preferences at our wedding was super important to us. The entire staff that we engaged with throughout the planning process provided superb service. Not only did their process help us to map out the entire schedule of the ceremony and reception, but they could not have assigned us a better DJ! Max was such a great fit for our personalities and our taste in music. He did a great job emcee-ing and making sure the night flowed well, and he kept the dance floor packed all night long. In addition to using Sound by Design for our DJ, we used one of their uplighting packages, which really helped to give our venue - South Second in the Walker's Point neighborhood of Milwaukee - a great ambiance, and gave it that little something extra from a visual perspective. They were also able to change the colors of the lighting, which really helped to set the mood for our guests during the dancing portion of the night. When we look back at our wedding day, we will never forget how much fun we had on the dance floor, and how seamlessly everything flowed thanks to Sound by Design.

We had our wedding at Best Place this past Friday. Scott and his team did an excellent job! Scott was very helpful with keeping us on time and organized. Our guests danced the night away, including the old folks in attendance. We are very happy we went with the up lighting. The courtyard and banquet/beer hall looked great! Thanks again!
