Scott was the DJ at my best friends wedding this past August and while I wish I could give a better review I was sorely disappointed with how he handled himself at the ceremony.

As my friend was on her way out the door for her first look with her husband to be he stopped her mid-stride to discuss the weather and the fact that they would not be able to set up their equipment in the rain. While my friend would never say a bad word about anyone, I will boldly state it was poor wedding etiquette on his part.

He then made it clear he did not prepare adequately for the rainy forecast, and would not be setting up his equipment for the planned outdoor ceremony. Two groomsmen took control of the situation and left 20 minutes prior to the ceremony to retrieve an EZ-up to rectify his ill planning so the bride and groom would not be without music for their ceremony.

I understand there is no controlling the weather. But when you know rain is in the forecast and you've been hired for an outdoor wedding, you better plan appropriately. The photographer had no issue being outside with thousands of dollars of equipment to do the job she was hired for so I don't know why Scott could not do the same especially when he could have planned to bring his own rain cover.
