Sonitrol Pacific - Portland Reviews

If I could give a negative star review I would. Sonitrol is a company I will NEVER recommend to ANY of my family and friends who own companies. My friend went through a terrible event at his business and Sonitrols alarm system caught it all on their audio sensors , but decided it wasn t urgent enough to let the business owner know about it, which led to over $9,000 in damage that HE had to pay for. Sonitrol never even apologized.

They are also WAY more expensive than their competitors. We switched over to a different system and are paying a fraction of the cost with a much better alarm system that ACTUALLY alarms us when things occur.

Don t waste your money on Sonitrol. They will screw you over in the end.

Sonitrol will never have my business and I will never recommend them to anybody I know.

Sonitrol is a mess:

-sending the police on a false alarm when I had explicitly instructed them not to

-sending the police on a false alarm when no siren went off in the restaurant, no call to the restaurant, and no call to my cell phone

-arriving early and preforming unordered work before a scheduled consultation

-instructing us to cut wires to the pinpad when the alarm would not cease sounding, repairing the wire without looking into the cause, instructing us to cut wires to the pinpad when the alarm wouldn not cease sounding again, repairing the wires again, and then finally changing the battery.

-finally, auto-renewing a yearly contract without notice 6 times

Their customer service department ignored my requests to be released from contract, and now that the contract is over still won't answer my questions.

I have nothing but good things to say about Sonitrol. Be it the people and their service or the equipment. We have great peace of mind with them guarding our business. They pay attention to every detail and, best of all, actually catch the crooks! Who wants an alarm that just rings and rings with false alarm charges. Been there and done that. Thanks for the great product.

Sonitrol has been a wonderful company to work with! They are extremely responsive, helpful and prompt. We are extremely happy with their service.

Great group of people who are obviously dedicated to their clients. Though they can be a little pricey they have the best response time when a intrusion occurs. It is a brand that I trust to get the job done! 100% recommend!
