My son's godfather and I go to open mic events here. Very small-town feeling in a big city in a good way. Coffee counter limited but benefits the arts center. Lots of events and classes. Nice as just coffeeshop, days.

Somerville has so many unique spaces for artistic events and The Ctr for Arts (armory) is a spectacular venue for the local (and not so local) to enjoy music, dance (including ecstatic dance such as i-opener and vortex), and community events. There is something going on everyday at this space. It even has a mini cafe to fuel up before or after an event depending on the time of the event. Large event space for rentals as well as classes.

Excellent space with great community. Attended ecstatic dance here (I-Opener) and met wonderful people. Returned the next day to look for a lost item and the fellow working the cafe was super kind and helpful, and his friend playing the piano was concert-worthy. I grabbed a coffee to linger and enjoy his music. Great vibes and good people here

Nice local market to go to on the weekends. There is two floors of local shops. Sometimes they have some live music there and the crowd is always nice. There is also lots of food options there to eat and drink as well. There is two hour parking available on the streets nearby.

Pretty cool space. A friend and I went to see a storytelling show. It felt pretty both spacious and intimate. And I've never been to a show where they had such a good craft beer selection. The only downside is there's nowhere to park. So you better take a lyft.

Arts at the Armory is a great, local place! Whether you want to see a music performance, do some broga, or even buy fresh produce at the farmer's market, Arts at the Armory has it all. They also have a cafe that serves sandwiches, along with beer and wine! They are also bringing in new events and it's a great place to hang out.

Went to a fantastic performance here the other night and performed here myself only a few weeks ago. Enjoyed both visits greatly. I love having a space for the arts (and the cafe is a nice addition, too!)

in this is over the boys & girls club but she is really cool but at the amato center they have community members who can put on plays and the place are always amazing and it's just a really cool community that.

They have an indoor market on Sunday and list all the vendors online. They also accept EBT and have a program where you earn a dollar for every dollar spent. It's great. Stop at the information desk if you're interested.

The Armory always has something fun going on, from farmers' markets to concerts to holiday markets. I go to the twice-monthly Pub Sing in the cafe, and arrive early to get one of their tasty sandwiches (the 617 is my favorite) and a beer from their surprisingly broad selection. They also offer delicious local baked goods and Taza chocolate.

The Pub Sing is a no-cover, just-for-fun event where you can enjoy singing with other people no matter what you sound like. Sing whatever you like, as long as it has a chorus that we can pick up on the fly and join in on. (And there are plenty of loud people to cover your shakier notes!) Come check it out, the second Thursday and fourth Tuesday of every month at 7:00.

This iis a great venue for a wide array of events. There is plenty of open space and options for staging and a serving bar. The use of balcony is huge plus for the event goers as it gives a separation from the main floor. It could also be used for event support staging. I have personally seen the use of the rafters for a circus show and it was handled wonderfully. With good even planning and coordination this space shines and is a community gem.

Great looking venue. Not the best choice for the beer and chocolate fest we attended. There is an upstairs area which looks out on the main hall area. There is a small cafe inside, I didn't stop to evaluate the food there but it looked cozy
