I have visited different casinos all over the United States and have experienced everything they have to offer . I actually have a large casino within 45 minutes from my home in the mountains of New Mexico.

That being said I would rather hold onto my hard earned dollars until I will be passing through the Tucson area and can stay at Casino Del Sol .

Its not be easy to keep up with the rated play and itineraries for thousands of patrons , but they make it look easy !

In my opinion it's that any time, any day , off the cuff "Yes" to any need you may have that will keep patrons loyal to a Resort. That's what you get at Casino Del Sol.

In total seriousness, Casino Del Sol has an awesome team of solid , honest, hardworking staff that perform with the utmost level of professionalism.

Such as ...

Rosemary with "In Room Dining" knows what I like for breakfast , Jade and the other slot attendants are fast and personable, Rene and Michele at the front desk go above and beyond by printing and faxing incidental documents which helps maintain my business while I am on the road . Plus I can't forget our host Glenn, he plans all our getaways and is there for us virtually 24/7 .

The list goes on....

Win or lose , in the end it's the people that make this Casino different from the rest.

If you're a casino Gower I would recommend the "Sol". Great bingo hall, accommodations, restaurants, etc., etc. Military discounts. Large RV area. Very strict adherence to CDC guidelines. You must wear a dedicated face mask....not just a scarf. If you don't have one when they take your temperature at the front entrance you will be directed to the gift shop where they're available for a dollar. No problem.

Out of the Casinos here in Tucson, Casino Del Sol is by far my favorite. The overall atmosphere here carries both southern Arizona, and Las Vegas attitudes. I'm usually able to find a game I enjoy and have never had go wait to play. the restaurants have good food, and staff are friendly, plus the building, grounds, bathrooms. and parking are always exceptionally clean. perfect for a night out.

We understand they are trying to keep everyone safe but it felt like a minimum security prison. Required room service daily or you would need to agree/submit to a manager or security check. Required wrist band They fastened on us at check in that had to be on our person at ALL times. Temp check at every entrance, even if u just walked out to your car and back and they recognized you! We won t be going back our next visit to Tucson.

Great service, love the social distancing protocols, masks, temp check, and continued surveillance of people who don't cover their entire nose. Bar service was great, I will definitely go back again.

My family and I just spent two days at this beautiful resort when we visited from Phoenix for a wedding. This resort makes truly everyone happy. My husband and I smoke but prefer to always smoke outside. This resort had a beautiful spacious area outside to smoke with benches that is easy access from your rooms. The other plus is you also don t have to walk through the casino to get there. At nighttime we got to watch about 10 very large grey/white owls flying overhead. The resort and rooms are beautiful and very clean. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. They truly make you feel at home. They have wide variety of eating options including Starbucks and gift shop. My 10 year old loved the large pool. Pool area has lots of seating areas in a very large area so you you can spread out. There is a bar and cabanas too if you like. There is also large sitting areas around fire pits if you just want to relax with family/friends and socialize. The gas station on property with snacks/drinks is also very convenient. Casino area reminded me of the Venetian in Vegas with the cloud painted ceilings and buildings. Overall a very awesome little vacation getaway resort. They make it very enjoyable and relaxing. We will definitely be back. Price was reasonable and worth every penny if not more. Thank you for a wonderful stay you guys are awesome!

We where going to stay for few days, however the staff was so rude.
Walking in the front door with all my luggage the.security person yelled "you need a mask"..I had one I had merely forgotten to put it on.(trying to juggle the luggage). I don't believe yelling at someone like that was justfied..I did smile and apologized...the check in staff was also not very polite..but being greeted with a yell had set the mood and we opted to stay somewhere else..

LONG WAIT TO PLAY POKER.

LONG WAIT TO PLAY POKER.
I came here ready to finally get to play some poker. I had read that their poker room was one of the best in Arizona if not at least the best in the Tucson area. Its about 20 minutes southwest from where I-10 and I-19 meet(center of Tucson) I parked and was greeted by a golf cart and a gentleman offering a ride to the front door which I thought was thoughtful. Upon entering the casino you immediately have the members rewards station where you can get your players card etc. I went and put my name on the poker list first thing just in case I had to wait a little bit for a seat. Upon entering the poker room I was curious as to why so many people where standing around and appeared to be waiting. I looked up at the wait list and noticed that there was 14 people for the 1/2 no limit game and 9 people on the 1/3 no limit game wait list. I asked the floorman if they were going to start another game and he said "I don't have any dealers". It was a Friday evening around 6:30 and half of the tables are not being utilized and a lot of players standing around waiting for a seat? How hard is it find dealers?
Not sure how long this was going to take, so I went and got my players card situated. The lady working was extremely friendly and was very thorough in explaining how to receive my free play for being a first time member. I went and played my free play but did not like how you have to play $1 in order to "activate" your free play money. It says you can cash it right back out but It would not let me and took my $1 on one spin!? lol, seriously not a big deal but really?

I did like how they had a portion of the casino, dedicated to the smoking population, completely separate of the non smoking population. Almost like 2 completely separate casinos really. The smoking portion of the casino had everything except live dealers for black jack and roulette. They also had all of your normal slot machines. There was also a deli type, food spot, as well as a full bar. One thing I did notice was that the non smoking portion had ZERO video poker machines( I wanted to really utilize my free play lol). I had the time and I looked EVERYWHERE. I settled for the smoking room (I am not a smoker) and played video poker there.

After waiting to get paged and cashing out my free play winnings, I went back to the poker room to check my status. I moved up one spot on the list. I walked around getting a feel for the poker room. I noticed that in order to play there you have to play with latex/vinyl gloves (which they provide) in order to play? Thought this was a little unusual but hey, nothing is during covid times. I noticed they had their own dedicated fountain machine (not operational due to covid) as well as what appeared to be some sort of buffet bar. Not sure if this is complementary to poker players or not but would be really cool if this was usually operating (again covid times). I decided to head back to Albuquerque instead of possibly spending the night at the casino playing. Left my name on the list just to see how long it would take get a text telling me my poker seat was open.... 3 and 1/2 hours later!!! The casino overall is really nice, my review is more driven by my experience with the poker room. I will be back so I can say I have played here and maybe at that time I can update my review...
