Genesis Healthcare - Westfield Review

The food was awesome.
Every single person who helped me was absolutely wonderful. I felt like they were my friends.
Exercise program and games were great. Everybody was awesome, I'm impress.

I don't normally write a review for facilities I've worked in but I am so impressed with this facility as a new employee. I enjoy coming to work everyday. The management and staff are some of the best I've worked with. You can see that they truly care about these residents and aren't here just for the job. There is such a positive energy and lightness in this facility. Everyone works so well together and its obvious that we are all here for the same reason, to ensure that these residents have the best quality of life possible.

Recently was asked if I could recommend a rehab center. I recommend The Westfield Center located in Westfield Ma. Their rehab team is the best! The nursing staff is caring and attentive. The CNA s provide the little extra touches that a family member wants to see when leaving their loved ones in someone else s hands. 5 Star all the way!

I would not recommend this place. Nursing staff was great, CNAs mostly cared - but understaffed was the normal. Medical supplies were limited. Administration wasn't attentive. Patient was pushed out of facility before fully able to be independent--thanks to doctor and PT. Three stars is pushing it. Good luck if you end up here!

Westfield Center is the best facility in the area! The nursing and rehab staff offer great quality care! I highly recommend this facility.

Everybody was good to me, very responsive staff, quick and easy to deal with. I was on the B Wing, nurses talked to me, made me feel welcome.
When I asked for a bed change, they were quick and responsive. Very satisficed.

Genesis Healthcare Westfield Center is the best Short Term/Long Term Care facility in the area! The staff is professional and truly care about each and every patient/resident! I previously worked for hospice and had the opportunity to visit many nursing homes in Western Massachusetts. Westfield Center is hands down the best! One of the many things that stand out to me at this facility is the interaction of the Administrator and CNE, not only with the staff but with the patients and residents as well. They are both very involved with the care provided to the residents and are seen frequently on the floor ensuring everything is running smoothly. I didn t see that at other facilities in the area.

If you or your loved one is looking for extraordinary care, Westfield Center is the obvious choice!

I not only give this facility 5 STARS, but the DPH does as well!
