Bought a new snow blower here. Fast friendly service that answered all our questions even while they were jam packed busy. They even set up the blower, checked oil and added gas to test start it before we left. Well done

As a long time customer of Sohars I have to say it is hard to find customer service that is better than theres. Not only is the sales staff knowledgeable and helpful they go out of there way to help you find the exact parts you need.

Beware, they charge a restocking fee if you ordere...

Beware, they charge a restocking fee if you ordered something with free shipping. And you pay return postage. So ... you only get a portion of your purchase money back. I ordered a trimmer attachment that didn't fit my Troy-Bilt handle, and I got dinged a 25% restocking fee PLUS the return postage. A $53 purchase turned into a $30 refund. Beware.

When we moved to the area, we decided to try Sohars when we were in need of maintenance on a back pack blower. They took care of us efficiently and for a fair price. We have gone back several times for larger purchases such as a chain saw, accessories, and parts. 5 stars!

These guys are truly Pros , the proof is the incredible wait any time of year when you drop off equipment to be repaired. I can tell you that I have had them service virtually all of my outdoor yard equipment and it's worth the wait. They're extremely professional and honest , I've had them fix something at no charge when they could have told me it was a costly repair and I never would have known the difference. They only sell top-of-the-line equipment mostly geared towards professionals. This is not for people looking for Home Depot quality Equipment.

Seven years ago, when I'd FINALLY had enough of th...

Seven years ago, when I'd FINALLY had enough of the 2-years-if-I'm-lucky-lifespan leaf blowers, I decided to get one of those ugly (Yes, Virginia, the color scheme IS ugly, but becomes beautiful with product use!) orange and white blowers all the landscapers seemed to be using. I found Sohar's to be the *closest Stihl dealer to where I lived. So I popped in, scoped out the blowers, picked one that I thought would be about 110% of the blower I need (nailed it) and have been using it ever since without doing any of the service that s called for. As to be expected, it was no longer running like it should. Every past autumn, when I m done with yard cleanup and have the time to take it to Sohar s I plan to but never do. But this spring, as snow was melting, I remembered. When I got to the service counter, I asked the man helping me to check when I bought it, because I couldn t remember. When he told me it was seven years ago, I laughed at the realization of how poorly I treated this blower, yet how well it still treated me. After seven years (that translates to about 4.5 Craftsman lifetimes), this blower was still running NEARLY like new. Well, it s there, FINALLY. When I first bought it, the people there were VERY helpful. But having had decades in retail, I spot things others might not. You ll encounter it ANYWHERE a superior product is sold or serviced. There s what I like to call a velvet smugness that comes from knowing that you re vending something special. And since it isn t the least bit rude, I think it s cool, appropriate, and justified. Actually, there s a single, more encompassing word for this. It s confidence. (For the sake of full disclosure, I had it when I was in the high-end audio business.) *It turns out, there s a Stihl dealer closer than Sohar s. But until Sohar s gives me a good reason to NOT get my business, they ll get my business.

I offered my mower for a trade in. I was told I would need an extra $500 to be able to purchase the Wright 36, listed at $6800. I then see there is a Wright 52 listed for $7200, a $400 difference. From the 36, to the 52. So of course for an extra $400 I am going to get the 52. But while asking about the 52 I was told I need an additional $3800 on top of my mower trade in to get the 52. Not just $900 as to be expected from normal math. Very dishonest and disappointed for not staying true to pricing. Dissatisfied as all belief. Imagine if someone did that to you?? How would you feel?? Cheated and lied to. I know nothing will be done with this but it needs to be known of the lying going on.

I needed help looking up a carburetor for my Troy bilt push mower. The parts department seemed very knowledgeable and were able to supply me with the correct the number. The Internet department was very helpful and emailed me right away so I could get a status update on my order. Very competitive pricing will definitely be coming back!

Good place. Good people. Helpful. Better priced than other mower shops around. My go to place for all my equipment servicing. If your having trouble or need new equipment go to sohar. They actually back their warranties up to unlike if you buy something at home Depot or lowes. I would recommend this place for anybody with a landscape or tree business.

Vic and Andy from Sohars Mower Service installed my Husqvarna robotic lawn mower in the summer of 2018. The planning and installation was done very professionally. Vic and Andy are super nice guys. Equally as impressive was their constant concern to ensure that I was a satisfied. When they gave me a tour of the business everyone was very friendly. I sense quality and customer service are key components of everything they do.

These guys are great to deal with. Have done exchanges when needed and really take care of their customers. Don't even consider buying equipment from a big box store. They won't be there to service you and the little extra you might pay dealing with a local company is well worth it.

Sohars advertised a used high end pressure washer ...

Sohars advertised a used high end pressure washer on Craig List for cheap. I called and was connected to an Andy in the parts department. I understood this was not a high dollar item and he said it was first come first served, so I asked if I could put it on a credit card until I could pick it up the next afternoon. He then told me that due to the scum from Craig's List, they don't take credit cards over the phone (nor online), all sales are cash only, no receipt, no sales tax, no warranty. The listing had been on CL for nearly 14 days, but he would hold it for only an hour after I called. When I explained that I was 1.5 hours away, his comment was he hoped no one showed up to purchase it in that last half hour before I could arrive.

Anyway, I cooled down and decided to make the trip. I called again, and this time was connected to Tony, who was excellent. He put a tag with my name on it and held it until I arrived. He was great! I paid him and he offered to load it, which I declined. When I mentioned that Andy was a pr*ck, he smiled and said, "Yeah, we get alot of that!"

I did not expect a receipt or a warranty, and no sales tax was a plus.

Bottom line: If you choose to deal with this company, stay clear of Andy, he will piss you off! Best bet is Tony. Andy must be the boss's son.

Epilogue: As I hoped, the unload valve in the A/R pump was stuck and after 20 minutes to clean and lubricate, everything operates like a champ. Retail price is $495+, I lucked out this time.

I paid only $50 for the unit, so feel a bit bad about a poor review, but I was really pissed after Andy. I live in a more rural area where successful businesses keep their Andy-like employees away as far as possible from direct contact with customers.

Way over priced. My husband goes here for EVERYTHI...

Way over priced. My husband goes here for EVERYTHING and has been a loyal customer...however we Will not be going back here for anything as I feel they are unreasonably priced.. my husband dropped his 2 year old mower (which he purchased from them) off because it wasn't running right and turns out there was a spec of dirt in the carb and 125.00 later here we are. although their staff may be extremely knowledgable and friendly, i cant justify spending the amount of money they charge when we can go somewhere just as good for way less.

This is the first time ordering from this company ...

This is the first time ordering from this company and it will be the very last. This company does not stand behind their product and the "Customer Is Always Right" is a statement not used anymore. This is a "No Return No Refund" company. Of course you are informed of the no return policy on the back of the invoice you received with the product. I called Husqvarna and they had no record of such a supplier so be careful with who you do business. What was I thinking? I should have read the reviews posted. When it looks like a duck, acts like a duck then it must be a duck. Lesson learned
