Try the swimming pool only and it is very expensive

Our first time in Seminjak and at this hotel, but loving it. Hotel staff could not be any more friendly, the room is great plenty of room, but grounds of the hotel are amazing, well maintained and vast and right on the beach. Nothing more to be said.

A very great place to relax and enjoy the nature. A small and quiet paradise where you can hear the sounds of the waves, bird's chirping and cute squirrels jumping and running around. Spacious family villa. Great swimming pool to chill on a hot sunny day. Really recommended!!!

Ideally located hotel, between the sea with direct access and the multitude of restaurants, massage parlors and shops.
I highly recommend renting a scooter (lots of traffic jam) to visit the island.

Quite good. Direct beach access. Dear old mattress. Not good. In the future the mattress is replaced by a new one.

Mantab, spacious and there is a sports arena, gym, traditional games, until table tennis.

We booked a standard room for our first few nights in bali. We arrived at 2am after a delayed flight. The staff was extremely accommodating, including arrival drinks, flowers, chocolate and wine. The hotel sits right on the beach and has numerous pools, a spa, and great food. Cabs to downtown seminyak are cheap and easy. Don't let the cab drivers from the airport rip you off - they come out of the gate wanting 300k. We paid 100k and probably paid too much.

THE ROYAL Beach Seminyak - a hotel as there is very little left in Bali, the true charm of the island of the gods of other times, extraordinary tropical garden, and a swimming pool which gives you envi of idleness, all in front of the sea, and a pizza restaurant on a wood fire directly on the beach, couple, family, this place and ideal for holidays.

Once a 5 * hotel, now an elderly hotel with wear and tear on everything. Staff very friendly and helpful and give top service .... tip .. with a total renovation of the hotel it can again be a beautiful 5 * hotel on the beach

Fantastic Place once with the girls - once with my family and friends for my 50th and now planning to return with a couple to really relax and enjoy the serenity - BEST place in Seminyak - Way to Go Royal Beach you've WON me!!!

This hotel is an old hotel which is well maintained. The staff is so friendly that makes us feels at home. The garden pool has a direct view to the Seminyak beach, which makes the sunset view is very lovely. Sure will comeback to this hotel when we visit Bali next time.

Just returned yesterday from our second stay at this great place. Can't fault a thing really; perfect location, super friendly & helpful staff & lovely grounds. I'm sure there a more luxurious rooms & facilities on the Island, but the lived in vibe, we consider a large part of its appeal. Hoping to bring the tribe next time & looking forward to it already. Poor sevise old hotel furniture weighed extremely dirty construction site in the hotel and in the neighboring hotel complaints are not taken seriously no recommendation from me for the price there are very good hotels in town also on the beach

Truly 5 stars hotel in seminyak.
The staff, service, food is excellent! The private beach, swimming pools overlooking the sea etc.
Near from this hotel you can try La Plancha (aprox 4 minutes by walking)

Beautiful hotel with wonderful grounds and an amazing breakfast. Only negative was 28% tax on everything including $6 bintangs.

Old hotel, but seems unique. Also has private beach which good to just enjoying the ambience. I think this private beach is the main value offered by this hotel.

I was here for an event, not for stay, btw.

Great section of the hotel's own beach, great waves, very beautifully landscaped hotel garden where you can dine. In the evening everything is nicely lit and comfortable cushions are placed on the beach. The hotel staff is very friendly and nice and tries to fulfill every request.
What we have to complain about are the old and therefore shabby looking toilets in the room, as well as at the pool and the hotel restaurant. Otherwise everything is clean and tidy, we felt very comfortable and would love to come back.

For rooms okay ... although it's quite old for this hotel ...
But the air is rather salty, maybe because the air is taken from sea water ..

Nice hotel. I love their ambiance. They have many garden and in the garden sometimes there is wild animal like squirrel lizard or bird. Its very nice place where u can relax and enjoy the nature with your children. The food is good and the hotel staff is very friendly and helpfull. The only lack with this hotel is their building its to dated. But when i stay there they in progress to renovate some of the building.

I stayed in a two bedroom pool villa, good, satisfactory experience.

The hotel and grounds are exquisite and so beautifully kept..the staff could not smile enough and were so gracious and warm..the breakfast is huge with a variety that is so immense..I especially adored Phutu..not only a fab guy but makes the best omelettes. I had a massage on the beach..devine..the pool area is awesome..Do not stay anywhere else.

Everything is perfect here! From staff to the beach. Just the perfect hotel for a vacation together!

Mandatory hangout for Seminyak! highly recommended. there is live music every day and happy hour from 5pm to 8pm

Direct access to beach. As accorplus member, the management gave us free upgrade to pool villa. My family really enjoy staying at this lovely hotel and their services so amazing. They clean the room twice a day. And I also recomended for Namaya spa and Husk restaurant. Become an Accor plus member is really a great benefit. Spent 2 nights here with my wife at the end of our 1st Bali trip. Excellent staff - who were very apologetic when our room wasn't ready on arrival (even though we arrived prior to the 2pm check-in).
If you're looking for a party hot-spot then this probably isn't the place for you (although Ku De Ta and other bars are a short walk away) but it was a perfect place to relax for a couple of days before heading back to work. Loved spending time in a cabana by the ocean, listening to the waves, and just relaxing. Added bonus was an 'adults-only' pool.
Happy hour (5-8) is a good time to sample one of the excellent cocktails (try the "Royal Beach" with rum instead of vodka). The breakfast is one of the most impressive that I have tried - wide selection running from fruit and muesli to omelette to noodle soup to sushi to roast chicken to Indonesian classics and then into bread'n'butter pudding.... all seemed good quality and the coffee seemed to pass the 'wife test'.
And make sure to ask for a cookie to feed the resident family of monitor lizards!

One of the best structured hotels I have ever experienced in my life. I have traveled a lot but a hotel with all the services found at the Royal Beach is really hard to find and above all the attention to quality is felt throughout. The really courteous staff gives you ease and brings you to discover the whole hotel. The word that best describes my stay? "PARADISE"

My wife and 3yr old daughter loved the hotel as it was on a beachfront property, meaning that we could walk from our hotel room to the beach without having to cross any roads or drive down to the beach. The rooms were nice, clean and comfy and service very friendly.

It's a shame not to mention bird droppings that pollute hotel guest cars.

If you looking for vintage hotel this is the suitable place.
They have these beautiful view for their garden also.
The staff are extra ordinary helpful and great service.

But these are things they should improve:
- our wastafel in the room are clog.
- when we go out in the afternoon in the lobby there's a smoke smeel..like someone the are burn their garbage.

Other than that everything is excellent.

Enjoy the serene peace time, we had a teppanyaki dinner which is superb! And surprisingly okay with the price. One of this hotel have is : beware of biawak sign.. and they do have the biawak but not for pet. Please report if you see it running around.

I m impressed. This is my first time to stay in here. The staff were very helpful, kind, and fully attentive to the guests. On the first day after do some check in administration, one of the staff welcoming us and asked about our visit in Bali. The second day when I celebrated my birthday, they sending me a birthday cake in my room. Waw! Special mention to Doni that he did some way to ensure that we re having a memorable stayed during our holiday, when we re having our last breakfast there. The pool especially the garden pool is super relaxing and i had my zen time the garden are very well maintained. The hotel also provides a superb breakfast!! I can eat forever there lol. The hotel room are clean. And the hotel have an access to the beach but it isnt private for the guest. The beach is pretty and clean. <br/>I would love to stay here in another time. Thank you The Royal Seminyak!

There were few Japanese and Asian lodgings, so it was very good to spend a lot of spacious grounds. Shower power is good and comfortable. The sunset behind the sea is pretty good because it is on the beach front. We also had good access to shopping as it took about 20 minutes to walk to Seminyak Square.

had a great time here. beautiful and attentive staff and the room was very lush. the pool area is super relaxing and the breakfast is the die for. loved meeting putu he was working for the breakfast counter and there s also a large family of lizards which was awesome to see. the only let down was rude tourists that didn t have much respect for staff.. in light of this the staff were incredibly polite. i would have put them in there place but it goes to show how resilient and beautifully natured balinese people are.

This beach hotel is one of the most beautiful hotels in Bali. There are palm-fringed pools, tropical gardens and bedrooms filled with locally crafted furniture. Seminyak beach is just a few metres away, as is popular surfing spot Legian beach, so if you re a water sports fan working out where to stay in Bali this is your spot. Travelling with kids? Don t let that stop you enjoying a candlelit dinner - there s a babysitting service as well as a video games area. There are three restaurants, but for local cuisine it s got to be Husk, where specialities include prawn served with coconut.

The royal beach is amazing. The rooms are exceptionally clean the staff are amazing and will do what they can to make your stay a memorable one 5 star all the way.

Friendly staff, good food and nice beachfront with fine sand

Staff is super-friendly, helpful and professional. The villas are gorgeous! If you have money to splurge, this is the place to stay at! The beach and lush, spacious gardens surround you.

The Royal Beach used to be called Bali Imperial and was the "first house" on the site. This is not the case anymore. The facility of the 5-star hotel is not bad. the rooms however very small and the corridors long. More

Beach front hotel 5*, amazing garde 5* and swimming pool 5*. Buffet breakfast for any taste. Room to be updated 3*. If back to Seminyak, be there back!

Some people will love it, but for us, it was a little forced to the point of being oppressive. The luxury villa was large, well appointed, but dark and uninviting. We stayed only one night of our six before moving somewhere bright, cheerful and friendly!
