The expectations I had for my celebratory stay fell short. We'll begin with the room. There were "dust bunnies" flying from underneath the bed and there was initially a "stale" smell permeating throughout the room. It clearly was not an upgraded room, as the baseboards were supposed to be black, but were severely chipped, in that the white color was exposed more than there was black. I found holes in the curtains and the robes appeared to be more than "used." Definitely did not look like the pictures. I'd requested a mini fridge in the room which was not present, upon check in. Once I did obtain one, it was leaky, spotty with stains and overall unclean. There were multiple dents all over the apparatus, and as hard as I could, I was unable to figure out how they got there. We were to be charged 20.00 a night for the use (we were not charged after I complained.) The front desk was less than friendly and the valet never cracked a smile or made me feel welcomed; and at 60.00 a night should have bent over backwards. The concierge who took our luggage to the room was genuine and kind - he received a generous tip. The drinks in the lounge were great as was the service. However, many places to sit were not clean. It was very disappointing and wouldn't recommend this location to anyone. They are not ready to be fully reopened.
