One of the best restaurants I've ever been in my life, you can enjoy a very beautiful view of the Nile while you drink a nice bottle of wine, fresh kafta and also a delicious plate of fresh fruits. Service is astonishing. Prices are quite reasonable not expensive. Also later in the Sofitel you can enjoy of a tendry magic Buddha Bar!

Sofitel Cairo location is just perfect. The reception team was kind and helpful :) Our room (Double Superior, at the 6th floor) was really near to a big ventilators noise. They've upgrade us to a Premium room, the view was amaaazing.
Rooms are correct and clean (Superior and Premium), but they can be more classy according to Sofitel style. It also could be more isolated, especially if there is a baby screaming every 10min in the next room...

Breakfast is just waw ! Delicious, with several cooking choices. But on the other hand, they do not know how to prepare scrambled eggs at aaaaall :)

And ! They should be more strict with the "uncivilized customers", especially those who come from the Khalij countries .... They talk loud and put music too loud without any respect for others during breakfast and at the pool.

The garden around, the Egyptian restaurant (very nice food), the pool, the spa, all very very nice.

All the team, from the front door to the housekeeping, are friendly and helpful (special mention to the breakfast team and their young trainee). We felt like home. Thank you so much :)

The hotel is located on a large Nile island in the center of Cairo. There are 5 good restaurants in the hotel and quite a few in the proximity. Hotel has a great and a little bit pricey spa. It also offers a stunning view of the Nile and the city.
