Lessons in Libations is the place to be. Had so much fun. Drinks were delish and got to leave with everything to make both drinks!

Paid an exorbitant price for a mediocre hamburger with a mediocre Old Fashioned. The shrimp and grits however was very delicious.

I really enjoyed the sweet potato and regular biscuits. The sesame butter, marmalade, and Maple cane sugar wee awesome. The strawberry jam was good. The salad with crispy quinoa was good. The dressing was great. The curry tomato soup was very good as well as the Mac and cheese. The fries and spicy mayo were great.

Social never disappoints! You can always have a perfectly mixed libation from the bar, and enjoy unique and interested southern inspired dishes by Chef Marc Krampe. Don t miss Social when in Lafayette!

The food here is awesome. The smoked fried chicken and biscuits is smoky, savory, just delicious. The kimchi fritas are also very delicious. Paired with great drinks, and awesome servers this place is a must try for people looking for something different.

This place never fails on the food and cocktail front - it is always a home run. Their classic and new cocktails are always worth the try, their vegan burgers are bomb, and when I know we are going to Social, I literally dream about their fried green tomato appetizer. Perfect date spot no matter if you're an early eaters or late.

This place is wonderful..I always wanted to go. It was my birthday, had a wonderful time. The Salmon was was off the chart. The best I have ever had!! The service was perfect!! It was as though we had our own private Chef !

Great food, great cocktails, and drink selection. It can be a bit loud at times, so is better suited for a party or social gathering, still the atmosphere is warm.

Looked for a brunch place in town and this was the spot we chose, we were greeted right at the door and were seated immediately. Very rustic feel inside with decor. To start off, instead of getting a Bloody Mary or mimosa we opted for the French 75 and a cold fashion. My gosh that cold fashion was out of this world good! Followed up with nice seasoned shrimp and buttery flavorful grits and classic stack of fluffy buttermilk pancakes. Service is outstanding here and the drinks are great!

Really elegant looking place. I would say dressy to Casual dressing . Huge drink menu , a lot of Bourbons. The food was superb. Waiting stuff was attentive. I will be going back. All and all great experience!

Cannot recommend Social Southern Table & Bar highly enough. Facility is always immaculate, service exceptional, cocktails divine and the food, well, the food is simply the best in town.

Don't miss their Sazerac, second to none. The Krab Nachos are deceptively delicious and the Steak & Frites cannot be beat.

Great hipster place. I always get the smokey friend chicken and biscuits, and it's always great. Also try the swamp donky.

I love the food and the drinks here are some of the best in town. By far the best drink and whiskey selection in town. The wait staff is above average. It's a cool looking place, but the atmosphere could be better. There seems to be a pretty good noise amplification, so when it gets busy it gets really loud. Other than that it is one of my favorite places in town. I just try to go at off hours.

Great fresh tasting food! Bloody Mary was good and bartenders were friendly. I would definitely recommend eating here, especially brunch! I ll be back to try more.

I started off with the seasonal soup of the day which was White Bean & Duck Soup. I give the chef credit, this is a creative dish not seen often. The result was overall nothing special, because its creativity did not weigh heavier than its taste when it came to rating it.

Love their breakfast! They also have a great burger; I was honestly a little surprised at how good it was. Not that I should have expected anything less, but it was just really great.

I almost don't want to review these guys because they are doing so much right I don't want table availability to go down the tubes! There's nothing to be desired here. Excellent, creative, thoughtful chef's selections paired with the best whiskeys and craft beers from the area and beyond. This place is amazing! You'll love anything you get. Go! Not sponsored. I'm from 1200 miles away!

The menu changes seasonally so dont get too attached to your new favorite dish, BUT the food is ALWAYS good. I've never had something that wasn't edible. They have staple dishes that are always on the menu (im looking at you, oven fried chicken) and they even update some like the Frites. Their drink selection is fantastic. Im a big whiskey drinker, so I always have something different to try when I go there. The staff is always cheery and very knowledgeable. I definitely recommend for special occasions, date night, or even just to go eat. Don't miss brunch on sundays!

The atmosphere is so cool and chill. The music is really great for the setting. The service was above and beyond. The staff were all so attentive and welcoming. The food was so freaking wonderful! It is the whole experience. I would recommend to anyone that I meet to go there and we will definitely be going back.

The manager Lindsay is the reason why we continue to return! We ve been regulars for years and she always makes it a point to come say hello or welcome back . Food is always consistent and they know how to make a mean old fashion!

Awesome atmosphere, the food is incredible, fantastic service. Equipment has to be really clean to get the evenly fried skin and deep smokey flavor in the chicken we had. AND OMG THE WHISKY SELECTION. Quality place.

It's called Social for a reason! The food is meant to share so there is always a lot. Their cocktails are different and super yummy. I love the atmosphere, especially the copper pipes that run lines from the back of the place up to the taps! Even the uniforms give off the cool hipster vibe without pretensions. It's an excellent place for after work cocktails or if you're looking for a different vibe.

We were staying over in lafayette and decided for a dinner at social's. What a pleasant surprise! Great selection of beers and nice food. The interieur is amazing. Spacious and beautiful.

Drinks were great. Food was amazing (spicy chicken sammie is where it s at).
And last but not least the service was amazing. Couldn t have asked for a better experience with our server (Mason), very friendly, extremely knowledgeable and made the experience one of the best we have had in a long time.

Every bite and sip was delicious! Our server, Rena, was super sweet and attentive. We'll definitely be back next time we're in town.

So amazing. Passing through on way to Destin and found this gem! Farm to table yummyness! Great old fashions and the crab nachos were amazing! Ruben sandwich and smoked Sammie was great!

Update: after 3 visits, I regret to say I can't recommend this place any longer. I'm only giving it 2 stars because the drinks are good. We went last night, my wife got chicken and biscuits, which were dry, and no side at all. Who does chicken and biscuits without gravy?
I had steak and frites, ordered the steak medium, and got my fries soaking in a pool of blood. My steak was half medium, half medium rare, and since it was sliced when I got it, I can only assume the chef wasn't smart enough to rest the steak before slicing it. They have great ideas for dishes, but the execution just isn't there. Great place to drink, but don't eat there.

We had the lunch special - fried pork chops. The chop was so tender and perfectly fried. Delicious!

Great place to share small plates with fantastic cocktails. On Wednesdays they've got $5 old fashions. Service was spot on. Don't skip the mac and cheese!

Awesome place with innovative, Southern inspired food. Frequently changing menu makes it easy to always find something new to try. Craft cocktails are awesome as well. Social Hour Tue-Fri 3-6:30 with great specials. Make sure you check them out for Sunday brunch.

Everytime I come here, the service is always great, the food and drinks are delicious, the experience is always good.

The interior is nice. We went for lunch at 1pm and the place was virtually empty yet we could never find our server. She had to be tracked down for drinks, etc. She mixed our tickets all up. I have food allergies and was told the chef was TOO BUSY to make any recommendations other than plain salad. I had a plain hamburger sans bun, cheese or mayo. The rest of the meals were ordinary. I would not go back nor would I recommend it.

Maybe the best of the best in an area teeming with excellent restaurants. I often dream of kimchi fries. Yum!

I hate to give Social such a low rating, but perhaps it will create change. This restaurant is too current to have such limited menu options for vegetarians. No, we don t just eat salad. The vegetarian flat bread might be an acquired More

Great restaurant
We arrived just as they opened for the evening. It had redfish with lump crab and broccolini. It was excellent! My husband had linguini with shrimp alfredo and he said it was excellent as well.

Food is not worth the price. Charge 4% for non-cash payments. Loud in there. Far better options in Lafayette.

The social share plates were amazing, krab tacos, mambo drums were 6 stars. Some of the entrees were a little more medium, not impressed by the glut of bread on the fried green tomatoes or the dry sweet fried chicken.

Simply put, GOOD STUFF. I've been there a few times and this restaurant has a relaxing atmosphere and very consistent quality. Well rounded. While the front of the house gets you greeted, seated and served, the back of the house will keep you coming back for more. Make sure take friends (It's named The SOCIAL for a reason).

Sorry I don't like the creek water but, the crab nachos was good

My wife have been here 5 times and each time has been more spectacular than the last. No matter how busy, the professionalism, friendliness, service, & quality of product never suffer.

Had the steak and fries. Honestly one of the best meals I've ever eaten in my life. Others at the table had chicken and waffles and the Mac and cheese, and both were equally delicious. I can't recommend this place enough.

Very good food, properly prepared. Not always perfect - the fish today was overcooked and underflavored. The side dishes were excellent and the brisket salad special was delicious, a wonderful mix of flavors and perfect buttery Bibb lettuce. Excellent service too.
