Wasn t sure what to expect... and it was great!! Different than the other parks around. Plenty of runs that are fun. Nothing too technical that would scare anyone, but just challenging enough. Great twilight deals!!

I never leave reviews, but the staff at Snow Valley were incredibly nice and helpful during my stay. David on the Snow Surfaces team is incredibly kind and does an amazing job building the park! We had such a great time all week. Thanks to all the staff, including David, Nole, Cam, The Security, and many others!

I've been skiing southern California mountains for over 25 seasons. I know Mountain high, Mt Baldy, Snow Valley, and the big bear resorts very well. When Snow Valley has coverage, it's one of the best local resorts. Mid week lift tickets are in the $50s. No lines. Decent lifts. Slide peak is one of the best slopes in the San Bernardinos. You have open face Steeps on your skiers right, and steep trees on skiers left.

The trees are on the lower and mid mountain are also super fun. I'm lucky to be able to ski on weekdays and enjoy the empty lifts.

The beginner runs are longer than the average bunny hill.

Snow Valley gets an A plus from me.

I like this place very much, it takes you out of trouble especially when you have forgotten something, even everything around is very beautiful, and as all the only bad things are us people because most visitors leave all their garbage lying around and that's really embarrassing

A little cheaper then Snow summit, closers to the bottom of the hill so less traffic, CHP are guiding you out onto the street from the parking lot on busy days that helps, but only one real big slope was open, and there workers are not as professional as snow summit, but in all I had a good time.

Great family ski resort with very fair prices to ski and rent. Snow is good now even at the top of the mountain. Runs are good but shorter than say Mammoth and not many black diamonds but is a good family value. Great for beginners and children.

All staff are super-friendly. I'm a seasoned skier going down the beginner slope so the youngsters can get their practice. The staff at all the lifts are very consistent with giving instructions on when to stop, go, and pull the bar down. Safety is obviously their number one concern.

The runs themselves are very decent with ample snow for a no-dirt run.

It's so awesome to live so close to the mountains to enjoy a day of skiing.

Thank you Snow Valley for having such a great group of friendly staff!!

This is the second time on this hill, the views are beautiful. Plenty of trails to choose from. Very challenging, even the green trails are a challenge. Ways to improve allow access to the pond would be ideal for picnics

Took a vacation day to spend with the kids up in the snow. No skiing or anything just snow play at the resort. Kids had a great time over all but since trailer of 12 wasn't working and they don't have a rope tow excetera the kids were tired fast and ready to go home pretty early. Would be nice if the lift was operational would have made a lot more fun for the kids but overall almost nobody there today so well worth the drive. The food is fairly reasonable for a tourist attraction type place. And all of the staff was absolutely amazingly friendly which was nice and we dealt with quite a few of them.

Best SoCal Resort when they have natural snow and I am looking forward to trying their new hi speed 6 pack but snow making is marginal and the place can be boring if only 1/3 of the hill is open. Go after a big powder dump and it is wonderful.

We all had a fun time. My youngest went to the children's learning center to learn snowboarding. He had a good time. The all day program was from 9-3 and lunch was provided. The rest of us went to the snow play area and had a good time. There were about 7-8 sled racing lanes and an area off to the side to make snowmen and snow forts and of course snowballs. They serve breakfast and lunch which wasn't bad. Kind of pricey which should be expected.

Beautiful

A little lower than Bear Mtn/Snow Summit so warmer and less snow but its closer to San Diego and a lot cheaper. The facility is a little run down and could be updated/upgraded. They need more benches at the top of the slopes to put your boots in your bindings. Not a huge resort but it scratches the itch, that's for sure.

It all started here for me and now for my kids! Perfect place to ski with family and friends. Quad pack is a steal! Thank you for keeping skiing affordable!

P.S. Please fix the wifi situation.

Thank you for trying!

My wife and I live in Arrowbear right next to the resort. We just returned from being overseas in the military for 21 years.

We bought season tickets and were super excited to get back into snowboarding. Because my wife was learning to snowboard and I ve got a bad knee (disabled vet) we bought flow bindings to keep our back foot in the binding. This was on the advise of my doctor so as not to twist my knee.

Getting off the lift the operator started screaming at us to take the back foot out! We explained that we have flow bindings and I showed him that we could easily slide our feet in and out. He said no, then another guy showed up with tattoos and ear hoops and started screaming at my wife. A lady below called up and said no exceptions, they can do it or they can leave the mountain!

So, after purchasing season tickets, we never returned. We are local, and for SURE RECOMMEND YOU AVOID THIS RESORT!!!! Go to big bear and get treated like the paying customer that you are!

I even tried to call the manager three times leaving my number....never got a call back. Just crappy guys, you used to be so much better than picking on women and disabled vets! Shame on you!!!!

This place looks like a fun place, but I recently worked for them, got to see the inside operation and from what I observed was that they were struggling to employ people, especially people that know what they are doing... but it's an independent owned company, and they hire basically anyone who applies, and will let you go if it doesn't work out. Its business, but they do need a whole lot of improvements all the way around. In fact the vent for the food and beverage department grills don't work properly and smoke out the whole place... thats a health code violation.
They lost a valuable asset. I'm disappointed with the decision's that were made here.
I'm sharing my thoughts and feelings with everyone.

I'm disappointed with all the employees who work there that complain about their job but still wanna work there??? And to the fellow brothers and sisters that actually wanna work there and go above and beyond their expectations for their job, I praise them. I'll miss them. And i say to all the hard working employees, keep up the awesome work!!!

Good fun place for Ski and snowboard beginners...
Check trails report before going sometimes the higher mountain trails are closed...
Good restaurant onsite and viewing deck....
Good place to take lessons for ski and snowboard, I prefer private lessons as the lessons can be tailored for your child....

We went on 01/21/2020. the day after Martin L King holiday and it was great. Easy, close parking. Super friendly ticket and slope staff. Heavy fog moved in late afternoon adding another dimension of difficulty. We are intermediate skiers and found the slopes exciting and well groomed. We will return.

LITERALLY the most honest ski resort you'll ever come across. If you want to know ski conditions on the mountain, they will lay out the truth, whether it's a 'blue bird powder' day or a "we have no snow" day; and on top of that, they adjust their prices accordingly. Staff is almost always incredibly gracious, happy and welcoming.

Smaller resort, lower on the mountain, but when they have snow... the value just can't be beat!

They're only 20-miles up the mountain, which makes it massively convenient on the 133, their prices are some of the lowest and if you buy their 4-pack for $99 Specials (w/ no restrictions) it's only $25 a day!!

Super mellow resort that's close. The snow and the conditions are usuay better at other resorts, but you can't beat the distance and the atmosphere. They don't have wifi, though, so it's challenging for anybody who has family or friends who don't ski or snowboard. They don't have many snow makers, so they do rely on natural snowfall. When there is snow, this place rocks.
