Snow Valley Resort Reviews

It was a disappointing staying experience for us staying at Snow Valley after we booked it up seeing it's so high number of reviews. I will start with the pros and cons and go in more details after that.

Cons:
- Not worth the money we paid. We paid the money for a premium hotel in that area but the amenities were just poor (explained below).
- Very old build of the entire hotel, it's in a bad need of a complete renovation.
- Beware of their "Centralized heating" caption. It didn't work at all in our room (even after complaining they couldn't do much). Also as per management, it only runs for 5 hours from 7 to midnight.
- The rooms are not sound proof! On the christmas night, there was music being played in the adjoining room. On complaining about that, the manager said that the guest are enjoying and they can't help much on that! We were totally shocked hearing this!
- The given electric heaters were pretty old and badly maintained and were not heating the room at all
- Table tennis and pool table were all broken and impossible to play on.
- They claim they have Internet - but believe me the internet is really terrible. We stayed on our 4G - it had a better bandwidth than the broadband provided.
- Cable on TV had a very poor reception

Pros:
- The food was good, served hot with a good variety
- They had a common verandah which had a good view of the hills.
- Close to the Mall road

We had high expectations with the price we paid for the hotel but we were totally disappointed seeing the carefree attitude seen of the staff of the staff. I wanted to write this review so that others are aware of the promised and actual amenities to be expected from the hotel.

Beautiful resort and surroundings , valley and the fresh air , everything is so good

Room was not cleaned I got room with broken socket of power supply. I called reception for replace room but he never called back.

Recommend snow valley resorts,
We enjoyed our stay here, food is yummy, rooms are neat and clean, staff here is helpful and cordial

It was located almost 2 kms from manali mall road.

Has good room views. Gave us a free of cost upgrade to a Maharaja Room from standard one. The service is good. The rooms are well built with comfort. They have a got a common seating area on almost floors with magnificent mountain views. The staff was courteous and helpful.

Superb stay.. Staff are kind and also the rooms and food everything is good. Family recommended

Good place to be at. Though location wise it is on the upside but surrounding is beautiful. Good buffet food. Well maintained parks. Place for recreation and live shows on daily basis.

This place is so beautiful. The view from the hotel is very nice and the rooms are very beautifulthat's why I loved this place

It is situated in old Manali, lush green backdrop, all amenities available.

Not a star hotel type resort. But decent value for money resort.

Take any of their packages for hassle free stay and local sight seeing, very nice and well managed resort and rooms, really liked the location, its not too far or near to the Mall.

The place is awesome with great service and hospitality. The workers are very friendly, generous and helpful. A budget friendly and overall a great place reside. The view from the room itself shows the beauty of Manali. You get everything you needed, and the service is seriously better than most of the others. You get playing zone, disc, garden, etc to make sure you don't feel bored while on the stay.
Must try noodles and stuffed parathas.

The best thing it Offers is amole parking and great food. The ambience of the dining hall is nice and the staff is helpful. You will find the owners there taking care of the Hotel so its quite maintained. It Usb is Its Entertainment rooms on each Floor. The kids will love it. So if you a big family with kids. This is definately the hotel to go for.!

Building is a bit old but provides all basic facilities including default central heating, which is a requirement here.

Visited in July, Nice rooms with excellent room service. Food was also quite good. The arrangements of night party was also brilliantly done.

A pretty decent hotel. Average taste food. Bed has eclectic blankets. The double decker rooms are quite nice

Nice hotel .. but it is located at top of the hill .. no taxi, auto available at night if someone wants to visit Mall road or near by place.

I personally feel that This place need to work Customer Service as well as Staff Behaviour... recently visited Snow Valley Resorts Shimla..Great Hospitality...Awesome Experience from Check in till check out..In Shimla ...But Manali Staff plz work on Hospitality & Behaviour.... Food Quality was below Average , Behaviour of Staff was not at all good...In addition Room service was Oh my God plz ...we have to wait for almost 50 Mins for order ...Plz Expectation are high from your hotel as per reviews....

Good quality and suitable for family, ofcourse manali and must Rohatan pass is going in winter season is best visit season and enjoyed lot in snow, solang valley also vast in greenary, vallies, way to hill is never remember in life time, bias river is a ancient river its a branch of great sindhu river in india, himachal a wonderful and secureful state to visit and enjoyed with your members, i really enjoyed a lot and never forget this memorable moments in our life, so its craziest place also to youngers, families, especially for newly married couple, food also vesty tasty and comfortable to eat for all. In manali the goddest temple of Hidimba matha namo namah its ancient and wooden, greenary hill temple mustly visit it. Shopping time inthe evening very large and more items in street, street for very tasty, i take giftof manali wooden gifts, allover manali is a beatiful, ancient, hillstation, safety and secure place,thankful to one and all especially police dept to keep non distrub place, non crime area, thankful so much.

If you are in manali you will find this resort in the outskirts of manali ....Views are very good ...Morning breakfast is nice.

The rooms are just okay, the maintenance needs lot of improvement. The food preparation is good but the restaurant ambience needs lot of work to be done. The view outside of the hills is mesmerizing but that's the case with most of the hotels in Manali.

It was amazing staying at snow valley resorts.. we have taken a Maharaja room.. specious and sweet room... OMG food was delicious and mind blowing..

Nice peaceful cozy little place. The buffet breakfast was nice and satisfying. The quilts they provided were a bit too heavy.

Although the location and food is good however there is a basic problem with rooms. Once someone switches on their tv in adjacent room, the entire sound will be heard in your room. That is really annoying and whole idea of resting in hotel is wasted bcoz nothing can be done about it.

It's a lovely resort with a backdrop of the snow-capped mountains. Rooms are quite spacious with all basic amenities like room heater, hairdryer, LCD etc. It even has a mini fridge as well as a safe. We had booked the luxury room but got a free upgrade to the maharaja suite which was a really nice gesture from the hotel management. Breakfast buffet also had reasonable options ranging from your bread butter egg combos to stuffed parathas and Vadas. Mall road is not nearby and is a healthy track downhill to reach it. All in all we are happy to have booked our stay here. Definitely recommend :)

It was mind-boggling stayed, Unexpected food quality served with top class service by courteous staff... Overall it was a great memorable trip include Snow Valley Resort!!!

Place is at a good location. It's on old Manali. Approx 2 km far from market. You won't find cabs later in the evening from there. The hotel doesnt provide cabs either.

Beautiful secenery, food quality is good but the spices on them are weak. If you want room with beautiful secenery so that you can have cup of tea with mountain views so book room above luxury room.

You can view snow capped mountains from any side and the Hidimba temple is very close to this stay.

Went on Honeymoon, excellent resort. I have never tasted such good food anywhere even in dedicated restaurant.
