The Public Defender's ain't really ready to fight your case in a trail, unless it's a slam dunk case. The average PD has at least 60+ cases on their case load. Their over worked and don't have enough time to work each case on a timely matter for trial prep. So the injustice way, or angle they work? Is to get you to plea guilty, with a so called deal or promissarrie from the Prosecution Attorney, wich any threats, promises, or deals! are considered illegal? But by the end of the day, they both get a paycheck from same employer. The Public Defender gets a case closed out, and Prosecution Attorney gets another conviction under it's belt?
