Szechuan wings were really good. The kimchi is nothing but spicy coleslaw
Good food, great beer and service though busy was friendly and attentive. For Jackson Hole this is a great find and reasonably priced.
Tasty burgers, wide selection of beers and a relaxed athmosphere.
Honestly not as great as I thought I d be. Hit and miss in different dishes, service was adequate but definitely nothing amazing. The award winning chili was super picante and simply not good, I walked away with the full bowl sitting there.
Fabulous beer, great food, excellent waiter. I would have given it 5 stars but the hostess was a little surly.
We were looking to get out of the craziness on the square so we drove past the crowds and landed here. We had been 7 years ago and were not disappointed again.
The weather was beautiful so we ate outside on the patio. The beer is always good and tasted even better on a hot day.
We dined here twice in September 2019. The first visit they were very busy but we were seated in 5 minutes. Our waitress was very informative and prompt with our service. We had beef shanks with canelli beans. It was excellent, I could of just ate the beans. The beet salad was also good. They had a new beverage called hop water, really good.
Our second visit was kind of a letdown, soggy tacos that fell apart when you tried to eat them. The special steak sandwich on brioche bread was average with tough meat. The waiter was not very knowledgeable about the menu. At the end I purchased 2 cases of hop water to take home and was told that there was a case discount, well the manager said that was only for beer. We spent over 100 dollars there and were disappointed in there policy. We have bragged this brewery up to many people and hate to be disappointed.
The service was friendly. Good beer. I really liked the blue pizza with apples and blue cheese.
I will never ever go to this place again. I m so upset with how I was treated that I threw the food away on the way back to my hotel. It was a trial because I bring tour groups to town and I wanted to see if this was a good spot for my guests. It is not. I ordered a Caesar (served uncut on a giant platter, the presentation was not at all attractive, it was a big difficult mess) and a margherita pizza. Food brought out at the same time, and because the salad took so long to deal with the pizza which already looked cold was definitely cold when I tasted it. Tasteless cardboard, so disappointing. I waited a long time for everything, to be seated, to get my drink, to eat and this was my first meal of the day on a very busy day. To go boxes brought, no utensils, had to ask and convince them that they were needed. Asked yet again to speak to a manager, just to discuss the experience and when I was finally heard and she finally came, she was already annoyed that she had to speak with me, you could see it in her body language, read it all over her face. No smile, no willingness to help, I was already screwed. I tried to tell her what was wrong, and had I been able to speak with her earlier I would have been more pleasant but she cut me off to be defensive and tell me that no one ever complained and that s just how the chefs want it. She was an ice queen with no customer service, then a bunch of employees gathered at the hostess station and gawked at me like I was a crazy woman. Instead of handling this like professionals I felt like I was dealing with a bunch of inexperienced sullen teenagers, who should NOT be in the customer service and restaurant business. I said she ought to listen instead of getting defensive and suddenly it was an argument, no point in any of it. I was not allowed to tell them the food was not ok and I felt so embarrassed and so mad because no one apologized, no one listened, no one offered to do anything and the meal was expensive and I paid for it. They just stood there and looked at me, a gang of people rubbernecking. Then I left furious telling them I would never send anyone there, but seriously, who cares, because they don t. I don t write reviews usually and I usually suck this sort of thing up, but here s the thing: manager wasn t nice, the food was terrible, expensive and the experience was bad. I hate this place now. However they do have beautiful flowers in their garden outside, so that was the highlight of the evening while I was waiting to be seated.
Ok place but not impressive. Good and bad parts to each aspect.
Atmosphere was very nice.
We had some beer a pineapple margarita, fish and chips, a pizza, and a bison burger.
The beers were ok but not impressive but the margarita was really well made.
The burger and fish and chips were great but the pizza was sorely lacking in structure.
The service by our waiter was excellent but the timing in the kitchen was bad making each meal come out over 10 minutes apart in some cases.
This place is rocken! The service, food, and beer are all excellent! We really enjoyed our time here. We easily could have stayed for longer and had more beer. (We were on a schedule). The downstairs indoor seating is a little tight but that didn t take away from our experience. Try their Jenny Lake lager it s one of the best lagers I ve ever had. This place is busy for a reason go there and check it out you ll find out why. Cheers!
This place exceeded my expectations. Typical brew pubs have your burgers and wings, which this place does, but they also have dishes that were unexpected. Like the Korean pork belly fried rice or the tamarind glazed chicken wings. The food was great and the beer was incredible. I recommend Pakos IPA. Great staff and relaxed setting with games.
Always have had a great experience here. The food is of great quality only topped by the quality of their beer. The staff is always friendly and service, even when busy, is great. If you enjoy traveling and finding local breweries and pubs, the Snake River Brewing Company is right up your alley.
Excellent beer and food. Staff is very friendly and hefpfull.
Great variety of beer, and maybe that is why the service does not care about you, because they don t have too. Hopefully the demand always stays high enough, because if they were depending on their service they would be in trouble.
Amazing food and local beer! The bison burgers, the chili, the nachos, everything I've had has been amazing. The atmosphere is really cool and the staff is very attentive. It's my favorite spot in Jackson!
Great food and beer. This is a beautiful brewpub in a beautiful place.
The atmosphere was great and the food was amazing. Only slight complaint is the server seemed more engaged with coworkers than guests.
Great beers with a fun location to eat and drink. There is a huge patio too!
The beers were great and the chili was outstanding!
It's a great brewery considering you've probably just finished a bunch of packpacking / hiking in Yellowstone. Tasty food and lots of good beer, just what is needed after an outdoorsy trip.
Food was on the salty side, I think it's to make you drink more. The drinks are decent, but nothing to wow about. The place is crowded, because there is no other option. The server was nice.
Stopped in for a few appetizers and dessert. You can't come where without trying the homemade pretzel or the smores. The donuts were amazing and the wings were out of this world too! The beer was delicious and the wait staff was perfect. Can't say enough good things about this place!!
Awesome beer and great food, but they sat us at a table that was too small and made faces at us when we asked if we could have a bigger table. I would have given this place 5 stars if it weren't for the table thing.
We were skeptical reading reviews online but once we checked it out and ordered from menu found the chili is award winning and buffalo wings well done l!!! The pretzel and queso also a must! We would come back. Beer is great and will hopefully be able to buy back home.
We had good beer, bad food, and terrible service. Our server was fantastic (tall, Romanian woman - don t know her name). She, as well as many of her coworkers, was literally running around trying to tend to the myriad responsibilities she d been given. They are understaffed.
When we asked to speak to the manager about missing orders, an hour and 15 minute wait time, as well as cold, bad food, we were told that she d made our drinks free, but that she wouldn t speak to us. That felt disrespectful. Free drinks doesn t get to discussing the many ways in which we could have had a better experience.
When I decided to go inside with my friends to speak to the manager, we were met with hostility. I was trying to put the blame on ownership for understaffing the place and overburdening her and her servers with too many responsibilities. In response, she just came at our lives for no reason, saying that we were being rude - gaslighting us and lecturing us about the pandemic (we were wearing masks, and always abide by proper distancing, and have been bubbling for 2 weeks). She did, in the end, give us half off of our meal, which we appreciated immensely, of course. Still, though, she had to tell us to never come back, and insisted that we were out of touch - when no such accusation had been made at her.
She did say that it was her first time working dinner, so I do understand that her level of anxiety was high at the end of such a busy evening, but she had absolutely no right to speak to us the way that she did. She was completely unprofessional and frankly, just a mean person. This manager went from dismissive to bully in warp speed. In my opinion, she should be reprimanded and given a second chance. That, however, doesn t change the fact that we left after being verbally aggressed and, quite literally, with a bad taste in our mouths.
Good selection of brews to choose from... lagers, IPAs, stouts and even a sour or two. Food menu was extensive with tastes for everyone... we tried the steak tacos made with local Wagyu skirt steak and smoked trout dip with Everything lavosh. We were very happy with our selections and finished the night with the Smores for dessert!
Really solid place to grab a pint and some tasty food. We ordered the chili, Brussel Caesar, and the soft pretzel.. Which was hands down the best pretzel I've ever had! Everything paired well with their Punpkenbush, which was dark and delicious. I'm already looking forward to my next visit during ski season.
Natalie our server was too involved with her table of friends, so much she was even sitting with them and ignoring her other tables. Won t be back ever.
Been here a few times and always a solid meal. Local brewing. Some good IPAs available on tap. Casual atmosphere and apparently a popular place with locals.
Great front end staff and immediate attention atvthe walk up bar.
The beer is amazing here, and so is the happy hour. Only downside is good service is a 50/50 chance sometimes.
Got a beer flight and the chili. The beers were delicous and varied. Top 2 were Jenny lake lager and Snake River pale ale. Get the chili, it was delicious and the corn bread added that little extra bang. Awesome place
My wife and I flew in from Chicago and stumbled across this place when it just happened to be Oktoberfest in full swing. There was a great party atmosphere, I had an excellent coconut porter and a ginger beer, and my bison burger was amazing. The staff and service were outstanding.
Mediocre food for the price but good beer and a good atmosphere. My favorite is to order a plate of nachos instead of an entree; the nachos are tasty, cheap, and filling. Their hefeweizen is awesome.
I had the short ribs. This is the best meal I have eaten at a restaurant in a long time! And the staff are wonderful!!
Absolutely perfect. Food was delicious, comfort - style with a twist. Service was friendly and quick. Food came out fast, beer was also a winner. Couldn't be happier!
Kids had a blast while us adults enjoyed their primo draft selection on the sun deck. Superb service from the wait staff. Many of the local JH eateries employ temp Eastern Europeans in the summer and the service suffers. Little to none here. They are truly local & service shows.
Sampled the pizza, wings and tacos. No complaints. They have a few noodle bowls that I want to come back in the winter and try.
Friendly vibes, patrons. Even met some fellow Georgians
Great Beer, good atmosphere, and the best bar pretzel that I've ever had!
Better food than ever before and the new Apres IPA is even better than the Pako's. Family friendly upstairs, come for game night on Thursdays.
The beer is always good and the food is just as good! No matter how busy this place you'll get served quickly and with a smile.
Always save room for dessert as their brownie with ice cream is warm and out of this world.
We have been in Jackson Hole 4 days. We have eaten at many places. I am vegan. Hubby is not. Without question, SRB was the best food and service we have had. Who would have thought a brewery would have such high quality and great upscale food. The ouside fire pir, corn hole and put our are is a binus.
The bar area was great. First time here and won't be the last!
Burger was bland, and service was really bad. Server basically ignored us. Beer was good.
The mesquite wings have great flavors. The French onion soup was great too. The skirt steak was a bit more chewy than I like but it's good overall. The service is superb. Good pace and friendly.
Relaxing place to have an ice cold Hefeweizen beer and steak nachos or tacos. In the evening, there s a fire outdoors. It s a must if you re in town.
Good food, and craft beer. The atmosphere was quite nice too.
Beer is great, food not so much. Next time, I'd go for a meal elsewhere in town before heading over to SRB for drinks.
Great BrewPub to grab a delicious craft beer (lagers to stouts)/wine(red or white)/root beer, etc. and some great food. We got the a pretzel and pizza which were both fantastic.
Great food, beer and ambiance. Service was fantastic!
Once we got in, the service, ambiance, and beer was excellent. Pleasant patio with umbrellas, good shade, and nice views. Trout dip was tasty. Our experience was ruined by the wait. The greeter had a list that was so disorganized that we were overlooked and waited on the sidewalk for an hour when there were open tables. I heard him blame the wait several times on it being shift change, but it really soured our experience.
Okay food and service. Good atmosphere and a very nice outdoor space. Not really my first choice but it was alright.
Excellent service, food, and beer. I had the Wild Game Ragout.
Good stout beer and great food and friendly, helpful staff.
Been coming here for over 10 years. The last few have been terrible. Only J1 visa workers now. Not hating on foreign workers as I have worked with hundreds, just saying this place is completely different. Horrible service and food compared to the past.
Jenny Lake Lager paired with the Big Hole Burger - so good!
Probably the best brewery food I have ever had. Pizza with Chorizo sausage and peaches was amazing. My favorite beer was the ESB.
Good food and beer but very loud. Difficult to have a conversation when it's busy.
Good beer but horrible service. Three other tables got served while we waited to get food. Then a partial order arrived. When we got the rest it was cold. Won't go again.
Great bison burgers and chili - both new items for us to try. Flavorful and well prepared. The only thing detracting from our experience was a really loud-mouthed woman shrieking from the bar area - not something the restaurant can necessarily control but should definitely be taken into account if going with your family for dinner and you expect to be able to carry on a conversation. It is a very loud atmostphere - fine as long as you know that going in.
Never gave less than a 3 to anyone...but it just didn't deserve a 2. Only came here based on the higher rating and number of reviews. Sadly, we didn't experience anything remotely close to those high ratings.
Trust me, we wanted to since this was our first dining experience in Jackson ever. When we walked in, hostess was spaced out and aloof and walked us upstairs back in a corner where no one was, then the waiter in that area redirected her to have her sit us in an area upstairs next to the other people he was serving, like right next to them, when they could have easily physically spaced us out some so we could not be so close to everyone else. Frustrating.
Then, the waiter, who I suppose fits the Jackson staffing personality mold, asked us in so many words if we wanted something to drink. Wife ordered wine, a bit costly, and I ordered hot tea since I was sick, but it never came. So I asked about it 10-15 mins later and he finally brought it.
We ordered food. First a pretzel with thier cheese sauce. The first one came out cold and the cheese sauce was thin and lacking flavor. Second one came out warm but really had no great flavor to speak of, plain and boring.
Ordered the beets salad along with a pepperoni pizza with extra sauce. Get this, the beets salad comes out hot, and it's basically all beets, no greens...just odd and a weird combo! Who serves it this way, come on?!
The pizza, the pizza. Ok, let's say it this way, think Red Baron frozen pizza here. No, I'm not kidding or being mean here. It looked and tasted the same or worse than a frozen pizza. Basically the worst pizza I've had in the last 15 years easy. I ate a piece and started laughing it was so bad....my wife didn't believe me so she tried a slice and just laughed with me. Oh yeah, no extra sauce either and they charged me more for extra sauce, good times.
Waiter asked if we needed a to go box, I said no thank you. Left all that garbage food behind. What a waste. Worst meal we've had by a long shot in years. Really, who's test tasting these meals before they go out? Embarrassing.
Will say this though, place had a lot of potential and was clean and well put together. Someone put some love into that place. Unfortunately though, it's not giving much love back. A real shame.
Note, we didn't understand if we were just picky or something, so we asked s few other locals around Jackson about how good this place was and some said they don't go there and if they did go, they stay away from the food. Ok, makes more sense.
"DO BETTER" as my wife often tells me when I disappoint her....
If you plan on only eating you'll be disappointed. At least if you get the burger, tacos, or the roper. We had a group of seven and they sat us in a side room away from the bar and brewery. Killed the idea that we were at a brewery taking in a unique place. The room was for the under 21 crowd and looked like a school cafeteria.
Excellent pizza and wings. Great service and we loved the atmosphere.
Lots of ales and IPAs, which isn't completely my style, but the beers were good. Very helpful and knowledgeable staff and the food was great too. Seems to be a very family friendly outdoor area in the summers too.
Fun vibes, average beer, average nachos! All around fun and would go back!
Great beers and lots of seating. Good place to go whenever many eateries are busy on Fridays or Saturdays.
Food is tasty but a bit too salty. Also, soups could do with more liquid - you can eat them with a fork!
Awesome!
Great food, great service and yes, absolutely fantastic beer. This brewery is the real deal, they do a great job with the beer lineup and offer a nice seasonal selection too. Wide variety of meals, all very satisfying. Best beet salad anywhere, great pasta dish, very good burger and pizza. Service is always very good and friendly, Melissa the Manager took time with our table to discuss upcoming brews, offering to let me know when their Kolsch was on tap.
Amazing place.. great food and local beer... this place has a very good ambiance and the bar tender who served was very nice . He sat with us and explained all local beers before we started drinking.. must go place if you visit Jackson Hole
Great spot for a casual bite and good local brews. They also have mini golf and Cornhole to keep you entertained. Outdoor seating was nice. Service was quick and top notch with waiter helping out with their beer selection. I definitely recommend their homemade pretzel appetizer that comes with some killer queso. The bison burger and sweet potato fries were awesome as well. It's located across from the Springhill suites off the square which made it less busy which was nice.
I don't know why this place has good reviews. The pizza was brittle and tasteless. The woodfire nachos tasted like a middle schooler made it from leftovers in a toaster oven. Neither tasted anything like woodfire. Beer was fine.
First brewery we stopped at in Jackson. Staff was very rude the entire time we were there. Really got the feeling of being treated like outsiders. Recommend going to Melvin or Roadhouse.
Came here on a Saturday afternoon to try out their locally brewed beer. Chilled out atmosphere packed with locals.
Recommend the Bison burger..amazing, flavorful and memorable. Will be back.
Great food and excellent food - try the stout with the Roper sandwich...that's good eats ! The decor is very very casual pub, nothing special with crowded rooms, lots of noise, and yelling children. But it's worth it for the food. Service is very good and prompt and the food arrived piping hot.
Had the opportunity to eat at the Snake River Brewery. I have heard awesome things about this place, and I thought I would try it out. When my friends and I walked in, we were asked to sit in the bar section, even though we were not planning on ordering alcohol. When the waiter asked which beer we wanted, we told him we were actually just wanting water. When he heard we wanted water, it almost felt like he didn't care for our table after that. Almost seemed like we were wasting his time. When he checked on us, it felt like he was just checking because he had to. At one point it almost felt like he was giving us attitude when we had a request. When we were leaving, we told the girls who were at the front to have a great day and they were both looking down on their phones and didn't respond to us. Like I have said, I have heard great things, maybe we just went on a bad day.... The food was expensive and it was fine, but I don't think it was worth the price.
Dark, curly haired hostess was rude. I ve been in customer service for over 15 years and it s not hard to be nice (or fake nice) to guests.
Drinks weren t bad and food was good. Overpriced for what it is though. $5 for an ice tea with no free refills is a bit much.
Nice views and big outdoor space.
Had the Buffalo burger, sweet potato fries and an IPA, best meal I had had the entire time I was in the area.
Our table shared the beer taster and everyone liked the Horchata beer the most. There wasn't really anything special about the other beers. We also got the nachos and buffalo cauliflower - both pretty good! The bison burgers were good but maybe oversold - just tasted like regular burgers to us.
Fun atmosphere with good social distancing. Beer was great! Food however was not our favorite. Got the nachos which consisted of lots of chips little pico de gallo, sour cream and guacamole. Service was fair, waitress took forever to serve us and then only came when we waved her down.
